“The cheese and bacon omelettes look and taste disgusting, as do the maple syrup pancakes. If I hadn’t spent so much money on them, I would have thrown them away. The other products are of a similar quality to competitors.”

“I was very disappointed this time with my order as some of the bars were dated best before 06/23. I used these first and although they tasted fine I didn’t expect to have to check for short dated stock in an order for 112 items. Not happy.”

“Very disappointed with the bars! They do not taste like the original Cambridge bars. In fact they are awful and will probably end up in the bin! I feel cheated by your company and will certainly not be buying any of your products in the future. Extremely disappointed customer! Kathleen Priest”

“I’m very disappointed I don’t like the taste or the smell I’m a driving instructor and need to take a shake in a bottle for my lunch it had become revolting I couldn’t drink it it smelt awful I use your shake for breakfast and dinner because I’ve paid for them but I use slim fast for lunch which is much nicer I’ve also used Lipotrim a lot in the past and that’s much nicer but I can’t seem to get it anymore”

“Disappointed as this is my second £300 order and 20 bars are missing, phone and spoke with a lady who was to busy and said that they would call me back, still waiting for the call back, called at around 11am and now 6pm on a Friday. On a good note the bars are tasty and are helping me lose weight.”

“Just tried the spaghetti bolognese flavoured meal which was inedible ! The flavour was ok but it was so really chewy. I couldn’t eat it! Feeling very disappointed with the meal packets as the 3 I’ve tried have all been inedible. Only eating the meal bars at the moment which is boring!!”

“5 Weeks and 4lb lost. Not quite what I expected. After reading the results on facebook I was so determined that would work. Three shakes with milk skimmed milk and a replacement meal for dinner. Drinking 3-4 litres of water a day. Not happy with spending £200 on a product that I now believe does not work. Will not be ordering again and giving what I have left over away”

“Delivery was quick. I am 74 & after one shake I was up all night on the toilet, my stools were like water, didnt sleep at all. The bars were very hard, so could not eat them. I will not be ordering again.”

“I do not like to write negative things, perhaps this may go towards a little product development. My overall experience with the shake that weight products is quite poor. I started my journey with the banana shake and that tasted really, good almost like a Yazoo milkshake but it all went downhill from there. Everything else has this really strong overwhelming protein powder taste and texture, I was literally heaving as I was trying to consume the products. The idea of the snack bars are an excellent thing but again the taste was absolutely awful, I was having to take tiny bites and a large mouthful of water just to get through it. The chicken noodle pack was absolutely inedible. There were pieces of something in it that was supposed to be chicken but they were rubbery, and grey/brown colour. Very disturbing. I am aware that all these food are out of a sachet and freeze dried but taste, texture and overall experience is really not great at all. But the banana shakes are ok!”

“I loved the shakes and have ordered repeatedly since April. However the shakes I received this week tasted different - not in a good way. When I enquired I was told the sweetener they use has changed. I have had to return for a refund. Very disappointed.”
