How is this company even still operating. It's worse than unicom used to be. Overpriced and customer service is non existent.

Had the worst experience with Scottish power in my life. They over charged me corsed me server mental health infact they even embrassed me by sending people to fit a metre because of my so called debt. After making a number of complaints and going higher that's when I recieved the best customer service altho this took some time they did in the end owe me money and i was greatful for finally getting to the bottom of there incompetence. I Would never recommend them because of how distressed they made me. However the top complaints staff seem to have much better customer service, Superb infact. But who wants to keep dealing with complaints team to get anything sorted correctly, So i left the company.

Absolutely the worst experience. Minus 4c tonight. Been asking for help since 13.00 because the card meter failed. It is now 21.00 and no engineer has arrived to fix said faulty meter. Lines are closed. Cant cook, cant wash, cant keep warm. App doesn't work, chat doesn't work. Nobody to call. Email links fail and send you in circles. I've rang them 3 times throughout the day because nobody came out within the time slotted. 'We can only apologise'....Scottish Power šŸ‘Œgiven up for the evening because that's all I can do.

ENERGY TERORISTS THEY HAVE BERN TOLD I HAVE EMF SENSITIVITY THEY KEEP CALLING EMALING TEXTING AND COMMING TO THE DOOR TO TRY AND FIT A SNART METER THIS IS HARASMENT AND THERE CAUSING DISTRESS THE COMPANY SHOULD BE TAKEN TO COURT FOR HARASMENT AND THE PRICE OF ELECTRICITY IS A DISGRACE OVER 500 PER MONTH 80 YEAR OLD DISABLED AND 46 YEAR OLD DISABLED DISGRACE OF A COMPANY

Awful company although im ywt to find one good energy company? Ive asked so many times how a co.pany that claims to use renewable sources foor energy such as the sun and wind can co tinuously up the prices and use excuses like the pandemic, the war in ukraine, international tensions or inflation. I didnt know any of them affected the weather but apparentley they do? My bill dates change every month i was even bill twice in one month yet ive been asking staff now for weeks how can this be yet they refuse to even acknowledge it. Avoid the company.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been trying to get this company to issue me with bills for actual meter readings, I have supplied them with photos of the meters showing the reading. They refuse to use accept these readings ,despite the new occupiers moving in giving them the same numbers on the meter readings! They have issued me with estimated final bills which are way over the actual usage. Their chatbot service won't take my readings, their online service won't take my readings, their customer service dept won't accept them either and have escalated my account to a debt recovery service. I have emailed, written and spoken to them for 2 months and clearly stated that I WANT TO PAY WHAT I OWE IN FULL, but they refuse to reissue bills with the actual readings! Next step for me is to copy in my MP and the ombudsman. The stress of willingly trying to pay what I owe has seriously affected my mental health.

I join the Scottish power on 22 June 2023, I was paying my bills on time , my tariff was 30 p per unit, then in September 2023 at my address were registered different company , my account close, and my mpan was transferred to Valda energy, I was not aware about all, everything done by Scottish power, my last bill paid in October 2023 via d/d, in November beginning November new bill received from Scottish power under different company, I immediately call to Scottish power, they told my account is close, my provider is changed, i called many emails no respond from case worker Kevin, after many calls and emails I received email, which explain the provider change, was not aware about anything, I explain to new provider Valda energy this is my address and please bring back to Scottish power , after 14 days they did, Scottish power did not do nothing , then after my account came back to Scottish power Kevin put new account, account which was under x company which nothing to do with us, Scottish power put their debts and their account with higher tariff under our company name, not enough Kevin was assuring me it same as it was my original account, layers, i have all proofs, Kevin close my original account, asked many times to put my tariff under my original account, then Scottish power took 822 from my account, I have all meter readings which i always sending, but not the taken money also they sending emails to pay harassing, i have all my proofs, i get a lot of stress, the ombudsman still investigating, but I am receiving bill which calculated 41 pence per unit, i never agreed on this tariff, my complains were past to Kevin who is no honest person, plus this is radicular i a made complain about Keven and he is one responding to complin, can you see how they play the game, i have all my proofs even the ombudsman asked them not take any money while investigation they don t care the ignoring ombudsman and took money, i spoke with adviser from Scottish power she was regret she working for tis doggy company, she advised to call to the bank, this how this company treat the customers.

If I could leave a zero I would. Absolutely appalling provider. Have complained to the ombudsman for the awful service. The call centre staff lie and all tell you different information. If you ask them to provide you with any extra information to confirm the points they are lying about they claim to not have access and you will just need to speak to the complaints team who will take up to 7 days to contact you.

When it is needed you can not get through looks as though you have forgot your password numerous times even when you do a new one then when the date has gone by suddenly your password will work wasted so much time now I am going to some one new.

Barely a company. Dispute started with them over a year ago. The customer service team never helps. So far I have contacted the company over ten times trying to resolve this issue at my cost. I have been hung up on by an operator after being on hold for 30 mins to get through. If you want a mockery of monkeys supplying you with electricity then you are looking at the right company.

Avoid to all cost I will just explain how much they charge me from 3 November-3 December,I have economy 7 half of the week Iā€™m out from 7-17 and weekends Iā€™m working nights shift thatā€™s mean I put only 2 heaters on maximum 10 days a month because other days I donā€™t need the,in 1 month they charge me Ā£390.I ask them to explain me how is this normal and i didnā€™t get any explanation except im in debt on my key meter when i provide them with 0,00 debt they didnā€™t have any explanation

Absolute bullies, they call me constantly, I pay my bill at what I can afford, they push constantly for me to pay more and more which I physically donā€™t have, they have threatened me on a number of occasions, have sent a bailiff to my house, I pay Ā£150 a month but the want Ā£180 so constantly harass and bully me They called me 4 times in one day and I am currently facing a cancer diagnosis, they called me just as I was going into hospital for tests, I asked them to call back and explained the situation, to which I was told ā€œ dont think cause you have cancer u donā€™t have to pay your billsā€ I pay it!! They are vile bullies that need stopping

Bullying by SP agents over the years conning us into entering our property in SP clothing even though you are well aware smart meters would not work in our property due to building structure, but, your agents kept harassing us. SP denied it was them but paid compensation. Keeping hold of credit and increasing DD. Making refunds difficult. Extremely rude customer representatives. Problems with your systems (or so you say) System does not update for days even though rivals have superior systems that are instantaneous with updates of balance, DD payments and refunds without hassle. Online chat described as award winning but you still have to either be transferred to someone else usually within 5 days. Last but not least, a very poor rating on many more social media platforms.

DO NOT USE. They keep your credit and increase the DD. Over Ā£1,214:00 in credit and lie over the refund since 30 October 2023. Customer service is appalling, even live chat which does nothing but pass it on and still nothing gets done. OCTOPUS is our next step and they are even offering g a Ā£50:00 credit. I absolute hate this company for their arrogance, lies and deceit. Obtaining money by deception is a criminal offence. I bet if I owed them Ā£1,214:00 they would have bailiffs on us.

Be aware if you want a quote, they will ask you for a credit check and when you realise you have signed a contract with them. They're making it very difficult to cancel. I called 0800400200 to cancel and the lady was rude, sarcastic, very unprofessional, it seemed like she was in a pub with all the noise and laughing. I couldn't hear anything, the call was always failing and I had full signal. I felt disrespected! I had to send a cancellation form by post. I will NEVER have a contract with them! The way they try to get new costumers is a complete SCAM and the costumer's service is a complete joke, disrespectful.

By far the worst energy company I have ever had to deal with. We incurred a debt with them because it was impossible to contact them to set up our account. They have bullied and forced us onto a direct debit under duress

I've been a customer for a few years however, upon opening my inbox this morning I was faced with 8 emails demanding thousands of Ā£Ā£Ā£s. For over a year Iā€™ve provided monthly meter readings and paid immediately. The bill today said our bill had been estimated and so I called customer services. 5 calls later and staff continuing to insist the bill was correct! They were rude and not prepared to use their brains to see the bill was incorrect. In tears I went through all the photos of my meter reading and compared them to the bill and low behold the meter numbers on the bill were impossibly wrong! I immediately got back to them with the details of their mistake and they finally took the huge sum off the bill! Iā€™m worried that other customers, elderly, vulnerable or with no photo record would have been forced to pay for energy theyā€™ve not used. Conveniently the complaints form on their site isnā€™t working and there is no complaint department or email address. This goes against Ofgem guidlines. I'm writing to bring this to the attention of other customers as I worry some people are being scammed. People could be actually not turning on their heating because they canā€™t pay!!!

My score is zero 0 same complaint for 12 months now they are an absolute nightmare. Over 25calls not counting the dozens of time the call drops out. Disgusting never do what they say or agree never call back when agreed. Still waiting for a RESULT!!!! šŸ¤¢
