“The hip flask that I bought for my daughter for a skiing trip leaked the first time it was used. The seal in the cap was a poor design and fell inside the flask unnoticed during filling. The seal from my hip flask that I successfully used temporarily in the Schoffel flask is over 40 years old! The hip flasks i bought from Amazon at the same time as the Scoffel purchase, for £4 each as opposed to £50 from Schoffel, did not leak...... I will be returning the hip flask but need to be assured that this is not a design fault and that I can expect similar service from an item bought from what I expected to be a quality supplier.”
