Customer service at upmost is pathetic. The registered the installation on the wrong address raised the matter with Safe stile on 27th of September been back and forth since with emails ((unanswered)) telephone call, being told, we will do tomorrow, we are doing it now, today 8th of December I was told they can't do it I need to contact the local authority to have the information changed. Asked to speak to the manager was told the managvher can't come to the phone and they put the phone down...

If I could give safestyle less than one star I would. Had a composite front door fitted . In the summer the door must expand as on five occasions I could not get in the house and could not get out twice .as I am disabled I called the fire brigade, who came around the same day , I said I had complained and was told run a hosepipe on the door. What idiots do I soak the house on the inside and look a prat doing this also on the outside . The fireman said there has been a lot of problems with these composite doors . The biggest joke is when it is stuck and you telephone for a appointment you have to wait for four or five weeks , by that time the door when cold opens better. Also lots of scratches on door , asked for a paint colour pen to cover up marks , first repair man said he had not got one , even though I requested one when booking appointment ,second time I had a call out he said he didn't have one , I asked if he could order and send in the post , told not allowed to send in the post ! JOKE . After seeking advice I have decided to take safestyle to the small claims court for compensation after Xmas 2022 as I've been told as the brochure does not give any warning about composite doors could get stuck and I have evidence this happens. And the danger for me a severely disabled person of being trapped in my house if there was a fire . Watch this space as I will tell you what happens, then if successful you may try the county court yourself.

Worst company ever, avoid them. The salesman was nice but very pushy, got me to sign this agreement out of exhaustion. fair enough. he also suggest if I had an afterthought I could just cancel and get my money back. I did cancel after reading the terrible reviews and I am still waiting for an email confirmation or the refund from this company. Every day they tell me i would receive an email tomorrow but still nothing. Rude and unpleasant support. I have a feeling I will need to report them to get my money back. I understand I cancelled on the 25 but I don't think it's normal that still today they didn't answer or acknowledge any of my emails. I have absolutely nothing on writing. don't recommend them at all. reviews online are very bad also.

Do not trust this company with your hard earned money. We had a door fitted a couple of years ago with a 10 year guarantee. Door has developed a fault and we are unable to open it, it is permanently locked. Called their helpline, and the earliest they can attend is 18th January, fully 7 weeks in the future. This is shocking!!!

I had my whole house fit my Safestyle including front and back doors, in March 2022. The job was done in one day by 5 fitters and I saw that they had cut corners everywhere. I complained, and an another engineer was sent out to inspect the job. This Engineer deemed the whole job incorrectly fitted and booked another 4 day job for the whole house to be re-done. this was supposed to be done in July but Safestyle didn't book scaffolding, which meant the first floor couldn't be done. Another date for September was booked in but then cancelled. Now I have mould in the corners of my newly fitted windows in the living room. puddles of water appear when it rains! This is completely unacceptable. I've reported this to Safestyle and had no response yet. This company is appalling. Their standards are very low, and their fitters are all self-employed and get paid by the window, so they don't care about doing a good job. Avoid this company at all costs!

Appalling customer service! My mum owns a property in London which my brother lives in. My mum is 80. I asked Safe Style to do a quote on my mum's behalf as I run several rental properties on her behalf. She is absolutely compus mentus but has other things in life to deal with and the rental properties are not one of them. I was first asked 'Do you have Power of Attorney?'. Never been asked that one before by any company. Fair question. So I offered Safe Style the opportunity to talk to my mum to discuss my involvement. That didn't happen. I was then told that my mum needs to be at the property for the quote. My mum lives 150 miles away - as do I. £8000 worth of business lost. We would have put down a deposit on all of it - no problem. We knew that Safe Style would probably beat the two other quotes we have had in. It's red tape to a degree that I have never seen when managing bathroom/kitchen fits from companies into some of the rental properties. Never again! Having now looked at some of these reviews - it definitely is never again. Nothing against any of the customer service folks as the 3 that I spoke to were fairly pleasant but there's clearly an ethos in this company that is just not particularly kind or supportive - I guess that's the selling drive!?

After a high pressure sales pitch, the salesman drew up a contract with the error of reversing the hinges on the front door. I didn’t notice this buried in the small print. I naively thought he would record properly what was agreed. Safestyle take the view the customer should police their sales team and bear the brunt of their mistakes. So the door now opens the wrong way, completely ruining the entrance to my home. The window they installed leaks. I have complained 5 times but they brush it off. The stress of dealing with this firm has made me sick to my stomach, as I’m paying for a door and window I have to replace as soon as I can save up again. Absolute cowboys.

Further to my review below an update, although they appear responsive on here: no word, if fact our relationship Manager Amanda has stopped responding too so now we're left with damaged windows worse off than when we stated with safestyle, it's been a nightmare. If you are interested in ever contacting, it's Purchase order 1511118, given that we've been told the Regional Manager will contact us 3 weeks ago, I don't have much faith. Our manager Amanda has been amazing to start. She has been let dowh by her colleagues. Our installers were great too. This review is about the factory, the depot and their surveyors. 3 surveys, loads of excuses, lack of communication between depot and factory and we've been left with an uninhabitable house with drafts through temporary windows that we cannot seal, we live in winter clothing in out house with blankets, cranking up heating with the added costs that does not take away from the fact that we have temporary fitted windows that were surveyed and measured incorrectly. We started this process in July, we found the fault after they pulled the windows out and we've had every excuse why they can't get it right for 2 months moving into winter months. Our neighbours have been put off safestyle from what they've seen and you should too.

Initial fit was ok but multiple subsequent problems. Back door unusable for several weeks and engineer visit not available until 9th Feb (now 15th Nov). French door hazing, be sure to ask about K Haze (or Haze on Pilkington K glass) when receiving a quote, glass is not clear. Handles loose or very stiff. Contract 1518197.

My mum had a new door installed by Safestyle in August. She is elderly and has dementia. I explained to the original saleswoman that she wanted the door to look as similar as possible to the old door and that she would not cope at all well with a handle that needed to be yanked up in order to the lock the door. The saleswoman assured me the handle would not be like this and would be easy to use. She also recommended what she described as a 'low threshold' which she said would make the doorway flat at the bottom with no lip that could be tripped over. This sounded great so we decided to go ahead with this. A surveyor then came round to take the measurements on a day when I was not there. He persuaded my mum that the door would look better if she changed round the colours of the door / frame. He failed to tell her this would increase the price. Also, my mum really wanted the door to look as close as possible to the old door. When I realised what had happened I rang to ask to go back to the original plan and asked to have this confirmed in writing. Nevertheless, they still brought the wrong door. When they returned with the right door they came at very short notice and I was not able to be there - a sibling who was visiting from New Zealand who is not so used to advocating for my mum was there on the day. She was surprised to find that the handle was one you had to yank up when we were specifically told it would not be like this. She queried this but was told that all their handles operated like this. This is not what the original saleswoman had told us. It was only after they had left that my sister also realised the door was not flat at the bottom as had been described to us - not only was there still a lip that could be tripped over, but there was a step that jutted out that was not safe to tread on but that mum could easily catch her foot on and trip over. Rather than being more safe, the door was less safe than it had been. Also, they had taken off a grab rail which my mum needs for her safety and had not put it back on. As soon as I realised what had happened I contacted Safestyle. The only thing they managed to do was come back to replace the grab rail. They said what they had done was a low threshold and matched what was on the paperwork. However, I have looked up what a low threshold is and it is nothing like what they have done. It is also nothing like what was described to me by the original saleswoman. I have already seen my mum nearly catch her foot on the jutting out step. Also, the handle is confusing for her and very stiff and difficult to operate. I have been called up by her because she has come home and not been able to lock her door, and on another occasion she struggled for ten minutes before managing to get back into the house. She is now scared to use the door at all when she is on her own. I explained all this to Safestyle, saying it was urgent and asking for them to come and have a look. I was told someone would contact me but nobody did. On the 20th September I emailed with a formal complaint. I received an automatic reply saying they aimed to respond within a week. I never got a response. I rang to follow it up every week and was always told someone would call me back but nobody ever did. Eventually, I was told by customer services that the local branch would come and re-survey it and that I would be contacted within six or seven days. When this did not happen I called again - by this time I was extremely upset. I was told I would be called the next day. When this did not happen I called again, stressing again that it was urgent and that my mum couldn't use that door. This time I was told that, while it had been agreed it would be re-surveyed, they could not give me a time frame. Another week has gone by and I still haven't heard anything. As I cannot leave my mum with a door she is scared to use I am now having to pay another company to come and sort it out. I would urge others not to use this company. I never normally write reviews but felt compelled to do one on this occasion. I would not even wish Safestyle on my worst enemy. It has been a hugely disappointing and upsetting experience.

Didnt make it past the sales pitch. After listening to how amazing the company is and how amazing their products were to then get to the end of the pitch to get quoted nearly 8k for a front door with 2 side panels. Told him I was also in sales in a different field so know the tactics and how the pricing worked and straight away dropped to 3k which is probably still overpriced. Please look around and get multiple quotes to stop you paying way over odds. No wonder sales people get a bad rep...

I had a composite front door and frame… I had a composite front door and frame fitted in June 2021. Installation was very quick, but I was left with a cracked frame and damaged inside wall by the extra-long screws used, and the door doesn’t meet the frame properly. I immediately sent videos and pictures of the botched job to Chris Dooley also Anisa, been in contact with Afjal, Sam, Adam, “customer standards team” “customer service department” I had 6/7 appointments to come and replace it cancelled, my last cancel appointment was November the 7th here I am STILL waiting 17 months later. Sales pitch was a 10/10 however after sales and customer service are non-existent! I’ve been on the phone to the company, sometimes for an hour at a time, and when they do answer they cut me off. No one seems to care! Trading standards have been informed and I’m seeking legal advice to go to Small Claims Court so to avoid the stress and hassle my advice is, do NOT do business with Safestyle! Date of experience: 07 November 2022

I have had a broken window and broken French doors since they were fitted over 12 months ago. I had to go through an online adjudicator to get a response from Safestyle and they eventually agreed to send out an assessor. The assessor said he would arrange for an engineer to come and replace the faulty units and took accurate measurements. I have had five engineer appointments to come out and replace them and on all five occasions the replacements could not be done as the engineer received the wrong sized window and door. When I was told on the sixth occasion that the replacements were the wrong size, I cancelled any further visits as I could not take any more days off work to be at home for engineers, and 6 failed attempts is beyond a joke. I was told that the refunds team would be in touch with me within a couple of days. Nobody contacted me. In September I called customer services again and again was told that somebody from the refunds team would be in touch with me, again, nobody got in touch. On the 19th October I sent a complaint in through the safestyle website, again, nobody has been in touch I had to register a previous complaint in order to get the scaffolding removed after installation as it was left up for more than 8 weeks after work was finished. I have never encountered such disregard for following any kind of complaints procedure let alone having an ounce of after sales care.
