“Simple Q&A system, but perhaps the information could be presented in a more accessible format. I have some staff members with dyslexia who found the reading quite cumbersome. Last time we did this course with you we had a short Zoom session with a live trainer who could explain the information. I assumed I was booking the same again but that's probably my mistake! Pre-recorded videos with some of the information (rather than just an intro) could really help, I think. Thank you though!”

“the lead training is very similar to the normal adult or child training, is it necessary to do both sets if you are a lead?”

Thank you for your feedback. The standard safeguarding courses are designed to train participants in recognition of signs of abuse and what to do in the event of a disclosure. The lead courses are designed for those individuals that have responsibility for safeguarding as designated leads to understand the escalation paths, external support, processes and necessary actions in the event of a safeguarding issue. The standard courses are essential tools in underpinning the lead course. We would be happy to discuss this with you if you feel that would help.

“I completed the Adult and Child Safeguarding for Designated Leads and Deputies and found this was really useful, our trainer was fantastic at explaining some things that I wasn't already aware of and answered any questions very clearly. I felt the way the session was run was a really good way of doing thing compared to other training I've been on before, I thought it was a great idea to go through the online training sessions first and test my knowledge, then go through a more chatty session with the trainer as an overview, to ask questions etc. I also found the length of the session perfect, sometimes they can be lengthy and quite heavy, but this was a great balance. Our trainer had fantastic knowledge to share with the group and the scenarios were a nice way to end in giving an idea of how to deal with things or who to contact if we weren't sure. Thank you!”
