“Flight was good...easy to get from place to place cheaply.
Sadly, their offer to obtain transportation to and from airport went badly. I pre-ordered, and the driver was 10 min late. We had to book an UBER last minute to get to airport on time. Funny enough, the UBER driver was there within 1 minute.
We then recieved a cancellation fee from UBER, which was confusing. The car we were in was the same license plate as the UBER we had ordered.
Upon contacting Ryan Air, the confirmed our original driver was used??? And our 25€ charge was also completed.
So, I am suspicious....because they wpuld not refund us the UBER cancellation fee, even tho "their " driver was late...and it seems their same driver picked us up. But it was our new, last minute UBER license plate that picked us up.
In my opinion, Ryan Air , not UBER as they insist, should be refunding us our cancellation fee....as we did not cancel the UBER.
I will not use Ryan Air again for this service. It is suspicious and they refuse to rectify the issue”
“Booked a fight from copenhagen to poland though booking.com
Somewhere in the email from booking.com it states that checkin must be done online from home.
I figure I'll do it in the morning since I have plenty of time. it's low season and I don't have any checked in luggage. I live in Copenhagen not far from the airport.
Morning comes and I try to check in online. No luck, apparently they close online checkin 3 hours before the flight.
I figure I'll just check in at the airport at those self serve terminals.
I arrive at the airport 2 hours before my flight and head for a self serve terminal. Prompt says: kindly go to service desk.
Head for service desk. They charge me 42 euro to check me in.
The flight itself was 57 euro.
They almost charged me the price of the flight just to check me in manually! And they forced me to check in manually by closing online and self-serve checkin.
This is Ryanair policy. Apparently.
Rarely have I felt so shat on.
Wizzair and booking are not without blame either, as they decide who they want to do business with.”
“The flight experience was good , the flight was on time and cabin crew were polite and friendly but however when we got on board they didn’t welcome us or say good Morning.”
“A word of warning: NO!
Ryanair is terrible in my experience. Let me explain.
We scheduled a flight from Tangier to Lisbon with a layover and plane change in Paris. Due to a bomb scare in Paris, our flight went to Belgium. From there, we sat on the plane on the air strip for about an hour with no answers as to what would happen next. Then, they made us all get off the plane. No communication, just left there. I had to go to the ticket office to try to book another flight. There were no flights available, so I had to research nearby airports for possible flights.
I found a flight to Lisbon from Brussells. I then had to get bus tickets to take us (there were 5 of us, all family on vacation) and an uber from downtown Brussells to the Brussells airport, buy new tickets on another airline at high prices for same day tickets and got us to Lisbon very late that night.
Ryanair did not help in any of this at all. We were basically left stranded in another country with no way out.
I then filed a complaint with Ryanair about this. They asked for my confirmation number, passenger names and email address, which I provided.
I have now asked several times what they would be willing to do to help. No response to date. They have just ghosted me.
I paid for 2 flights to get me and my family to Lisbon. I got one flight to Belgium. Worst experience with an airline ever!”
“Avoid this airline at all cost! Almost every flight delayed! I lost so much money due to being late to pick up hire car and pick up my own car from car park after delayed return flight! Most Delays caused by technical issues. Old and very tight planes. No space for legs. After flight being delayed for over 3 hours we have been provided a vouchers for 4€ each. The cheapest sandwich on this airport cost 7€. What would happened if someone doesn't have any money? Won't be able to use this voucher at all because is simply not enough to buy anything! Staff very rude. Disgusting experience every time. UNABLE TO PAY BY CASH. I will never use this airline again and do not recommend it to anyone!”
“Flew out with these from Bristol to Alicante on 24/8 flight out was OK couldn't understand hostesses as language barrier was limited but flight back 31/8 was absolutely 10 out of 10. Different altogether. The team on board were fantastic. Esp the male he just ran the plane and was so delightful a credit to the company.”
“Appalling experience with this company. They had a software glitch and my surname was not visible on the boarding pass and all they said was that I had to pay £115 to change my name on the plane ticket, even though it wasn't my fault.”
“A very poor service at the desk, we came early to the airport but couldn’t check in through the website! We are 6 and the website logs us out after 15 minutes, there were too many requested information so we had to pay 330 € extra for not checking in 2 HOURS before flight!!!!
This is so ridiculous, BTW they didn’t give us a refund..”
“Ryanair would not issue a refund despite us all having Covid and not being allowed to Fly. Will never use again, what a greedy self serving opportunistic company they are.”
“With Ryanair NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again!!!! I have flown with countless low-cost airlines around the world, and Ryanair the worst. Please, take note!!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again”
“I have just been told i have tested positive for Covid, so have to self isolate for 10 days, I spoke to Ryanair to ask for a refund, but they said no they could only offer me another flight but i had to take the flight in 2021, I have to self isolate until the 11th November, i dont know how i am going to recover from Covid, but after explaining all this, they told me i would have to use the flight this year, there are no exceptions. Moving forward Ryanair will be the last choice airline for our whole company. I have traveled with Easyjet many times and have found them a lot more accomdating. Ryanair the company that clearly doesnt care”
“I went on trying to book my flight, tried to book a service called "Priority & second hand bag" that allows me a second cabin bag. Tried to purchase, entered card details, paid and returning screen says sold out. Assuming the service isn't available (sold out to me means exactly that) I think that the only way to bring my second hand bag is to purchase a 10kg check in bag. So I go on and buy that, returning page says "purchased" and after checking with my bank I realised that I have been charged for both. After numerous emails trying to cancel the check in bag, poor customer service denies to refund me the service which I want to cancel and that I will not use. I believe that policies should be reviewed and customers should be taken care of individually. I felt very bad with their service, I never want to use the again and I just wish I could cancel my flight overall and chose another carrier.”
“Deal with Ryanair at your peril. I urge everyone who have been misled/cheated or suffered sharp practice with these cowboys to tell friends and leave reviews here on TrustPilot.
They have literally charged us for themselves cancelling our flights and us re-booking with them. 400 euros worth. Unbelievable.”
“I bought a return ticket to travel to France on the 4 th which they cancelled due to the current issue.
They won’t refund my ticket but keep pushing for a voucher which o am not interested in . I have checked my legal rights and they should have paid me back within 7 days..
I can understand it may be difficult to follow this due to the pressure they must be under at present but their lack of communication , the fact that they aren’t able to give you an email address to communicate
( but a very small robotic box to stress a few points) is unacceptable.
Ryanair is such an unprofessional and unapproachable company .
I have had other issues with them in the past .”
