Purchased a rug which the website said was in stock but took three weeks to arrive. Delivery was poor as driver dumped the rug in back garden

The colour wasn't as expected , the picture looked as if the colours were a lot brighter than they were , the quality is okay but kept it anyway, couldn't be bothered returning

Am delighted with the Monte Carlo rug purchased from you this week , the delivery was quick delivered within 2 days and the quality is excellent. Thank you Rugstore NE for the excellent service will recommend you to my friends and family as I'm sure the rug will be admired.

Hi Evelyn, Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I have spoken to UKMail this morning and the driver attempted to deliver to your neighbour at no 4 on Friday as arranged and could not get a reply. The card he left is standard procedure to inform you that delivery was attempted. Your order is out for delivery today. I have been unable to contact you on the telephone number that you have provided. Please contact the store on 0191 5492783 if you have any further issues. regards Tony

Rug didn't arrive on the day I was texted that it would which caused issues for me. I'll think twice about ordering again.

Can't comment on the quality of the rug as despite 5 emails from the delivery company over the last 3 days STILL no rug!

Hi Sharon, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I have tracked your delivery online, your was scheduled to be delivered on Friday 27th March. According to the couriers notes the delivery was delayed due to a vehicle breakdown and the delivery has been rescheduled for Monday 30th. We will check this with the couriers first thing Monday morning and contact you with an update. regards Tony

i cannot comment on the goods as they have still not arrived yet, the original due date was cancelled for some reason and the second date was not convenient, and i am still waiting for the promised email from the dispatcher to tell us when the item is coming, it should be today but who knows its now 11:35 and still no information

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we do quote general delivery times on our delivery info page as a guide and ask customers to contact us prior to ordering if they need a next day delivery. We sent you an email on Monday 18th August quoting seven days into us as we were out of stock of the rug you ordered. We sent a further email on Friday 22nd August when we dispatched the rug to you with tracking information. I have tracked the delivery and it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow as our courier does not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holiday Monday. The RUG I ORDERED ON THE INTERNET IS A BRIGHTER TOTALLY DIFFERANT RUG PATTERN ALTHOW YOU HAVE SENT A JEFF BANKS RUG . I AM DISAPOINTED AS I WOULD NEVER HAVE BOUGHT A RUG THESE COLOURS. I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING ON THE INTERNET FOR RUGS AGAIN

There is only one word to describe this purchase ---- Rubbish. I have bought many rugs over the years, but never one as awful as this. The quality was dreadful, loose bits all over the rug, the sides even worse than the middle of it. What added insult to injury, was the fact that this firm took the cost of the rug from my account on the same day as the order was placed, followed by an email stating it would be in stock more than a week later, and would be dispatched within a few days after that. What added even more insult, this rug was over £25 less on other sites (on Amazon) than the £99 I paid to Rugstorene, but it was my fault for not spotting this. The rug now resides in the local charity shop, hoping someone will give it house room, Disgusted.

The rug was not the quality I wanted although the pattern was good. I sent it back today and hope I will get a refund.

The Blue Pixel rug that I purchased, on line shown light blue or white squares, the one I received had no light colours, the white ones were grey/

I was pleased with the rug that I purchased from you but I was extremely unhappy with the way you packaged it. It still shows the ripple effect caused by the way it was flattened in transit. A solution would be to pre-wrap the carpet round a long cardboard tube - even 12cm diameter would I think suffice. You have certainly spoilt your own product. I would pay a fiver for packaging to prevent this disaster.! I would then change the rating to "Very Good" D.East. Tel. 0208 440 1936 doneast@uwclub.net
