Waiting for them to contact me regarding exchange …so far have called twice, emailed twice and completed contact help on their website, all to no avail. Are they going bust?

I sent a coat back for a refund as it had a faulty zip, i had an email to say the return had been processed so waited for the refund, this was last month but no refund, i have phoned them and been told it has been refunded , but it has'nt , i don't really know where to go from here, i may try phoning them again

Do not offer a refund on shop purchased items with a receipt only a gift card I will never use. This was not made clear just a small sign on the wrong side of the til and apparently says it on the receipt who reads a receipt?? Clothes very very old fashioned

Could not get a cash refund this wasn't explained to me ONLY after i had paid for my purchase, terrible policy, and my local king's lynn shop is hardly ever open.

Won't be buying from them again bought 6 dresses to the value of £315.00 only one was suitable sent 5 back waiting on my refund of £255.00 that's 3 months I've been waiting still not got my money back sent emails they said something about tickets then they said they have closed the ticket if I don't agree it shouldn't be closed to let them know I told them it shouldn't be closed still no money back.

I would actually give no stars!! Returned a skirt in June, still no refund!! I had made lots of purchases from this company, but I definitely not be buying from them again!

At three pound a return I will not be purchasing anymore. I ordered a gilet for my friend and myself in medium. The were ridiculously large so I returned them. Was shocked I was charged £3.00 for the privilege. No thanks and goodbye

Shocking service regarding refunds. Sent two pairs of trousers back in June. Refunded for one pair, despite 3 emails now to their customer service- still no refund for the second pair (it’s now 20 September!!). Just receive emails back from them saying my ticket is closed. Such a shame, as I like Roman clothes, but not worth the hassle factor.

The site offers free exchanges but this does not appear to be the case. I sent two emails to customer services about why I was charged for a return when I asked for an exchange. I sent the first email to customer services on 11th Aug and another on the 22nd Aug. Automated responses were received for both but as of now (18th Sept), no follow-up has been received. I tried to call their customer services number but when it was answered I was number 23 in the queue and after 9 minutes I was still at number 21 so I have had to admit defeat! It's a shame as I liked the quality of the item (it was just too big) and I thought I had found a company I could regularly shop from but it can't be trusted with customers' money so...

If you are going paperless. I will not be using Roman originals as I can’t print label when I need to return something. Hope this gets sorted

Had a blouse delivered last week..needed to return it...no invoice in parcel..e-mailed them..answer from them which said a ticket 😮‍💨..no idea)..had been issued and someone would get back to me...today I sent another email asking if they had resolved my query...answer...we have now gone paperless and you should go onto their site and look for their address portal...tried to find it..no success yet...Will not be using their company again unless they resolve it...

I sent 3 dress back in aug only refund me the 2 cheapest still waiting for paypal,last week sent another 3 no refund.I think the bbc sould take this up as it looks like there stealing refund for dress,like so many can not get though on phone or emails.Great buying from romans but give a 0 for stealing returns

Very disappointed. Awaiting a refund for 2 months. Cannot get a response. Reason for refund is that they sent the incorrect size. Will not shop with them anymore.

This must be the worst business I’ve ever known where customers are not receiving a refund for goods returned. My items were sent back on 28th June 2023 and I’ve still not received my money back. I’ve sent emails and received a ticket number, obviously automated, as they all say the same thing that they’re a backlog of emails being received and refunds will take longer than usual. I’ve phoned them and it’s like an answer service that then disconnects. I’ve sent a registered complaint and to date no reply and no refund. It appears I will need to contact Trading standards next. Absolutely disgusted and will not buy again be warned! It’s now 9/9/23 and still no refund.

Need to return a dress but reading these reviews wondering if I will get my money back. Just shows people should support their local shops instead of buying online - never fits, queue at post office to return and possibility you won't get a refund. Demise of the high street due to online shopping - what a shambles.

Returned a dress for a different size . No replacement or refund given . Several emails to them with no response. Impossible to speak to them . Phone line either cuts you off or says you are in a queue. Your position in this queue never reaches an agent . Fed up. Contacted paypal for assistance . Many others in same position.I have loved shopping at Roman for many years . Very disappointed customer who cannot now trust this company.

One star is more than they are worth!!! I am still waiting for a refund on an item- you can’t speak to anyone on their customer service number you just get cut off and the “tickets “ they open mean nothing. They have my money and there appears to be nothing I can do to get it back! Will not buy from them again. Also their quality control is poor- every order so far (3 orders) has had a damaged or faulty item. Appalling company- buyer beware

Ordered a jacket Size 14 and it was too big by a mile, so returned it and asked for a Size 12 replacement. Over two weeks later still waiting for the replacement despite their warehouse having received the return ten days ago according to Royal Mail. If the replacement doesnt arrive soon I will be on the phone to my credit card for a refund. Rubbish customer service.

Don’t buy from this company because if you have to send something back you have a hopeless case of getting a refund. They have a huge queue on the phone and you get cut off. I have sent an email and received confirmation of ticket but since then nothing .
