“Mr Niven came and told me what needed to be done. He emailed it that afternoon. The office was efficient in fixing a time for the work. Murdo and Michael came and found that a roof repair had not been done properly by another company. They took a video and told me about it. That was so helpful as I would not have known. They completed their work. I found everyone helpful pleasant and efficient.”

“Carlisle Branch. Evan has just completed his work efficiently and tidily. He was polite and courteous and I would recommend Richardson and Starling to anyone wanting a quality dampproofing service.”

“DUMFRIES BRANCH, two very pleasant young men carried out a very extensive damp proofing couse to the whole of my wall today. Evan and Chris were very professional, friendly, polite and caring. They did an excellent job and cleanded up after themselves. Very kind young men.”

“Guys turned up on time that was said done all the work at a very high standard and I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done .plus I would just like to say a very good thankyou to Daniel and grant for the top quality of work I was more than happy with it and left myself with a very dry and beautiful bathroom. “From the initial survey to completion I received an excellent service from the Aberdeen branch. Sarah Angus, Administrator, organised all appointments and the ensured the various tradesmen were able to access my property at the right time despite the remit of the job changing mid job. Sarah kept in touch at all times and the communication was second to none. Due to finding more issues with my wall Steven Mcleavy, Senior Surveyor, had to think in his feet and come up, with a new plan very quickly in order that the job could continue without any days being missed which was greatly appreciated. Davie and Callum were excellent - arriving on time every morning and they worked hard with minimal disruption to myself. Also - excellent clean up job guys.”

“The Technician Evan from the Dumfries branch was a credit to you. He limited the mess and particularly dust as far as possible and left the property swept completely clean and tidy ready for the plasterers.”

“the service i received from Craig Richardson was very good. always polite and extremely helpful. the workers turned up on time and were very accommodating. unfortunately we encountered a wee set back but we found a way round it. i received a discount which was very welcome. all in all, i would recommend R&S's services.”

“Steven was polite and professional while carrying out survey. Davey, Callum, and Frank carried out work tidily, safely, and to a very good standard. Never in my experience was someone sent to assess completed work: Neil was polite and professional in asking me for feedback. I have already recommended Richardson & Starling to a friend needing repairs.”

“I am really happy with the damp-priofing work completed by Richardson and Starling. It was completed as described and the contractor was exceptionally well organized and very clean tidy despite it being a messy job. I felt that the communication could have been better leading up to completion of the job. I had to chase a few times for a date, appreciate it was around the Christmas period, but a quick email stating closure period over Christmas would have helped, as the work I was getting done was linked to other work and it caused unnecessary minor delays. Overall though I'd recommend them.”

“A big thanks to the Kirkcaldy office for their prompt attention to issue with my mother’s home. The survey was undertaken and completed in a courteous and efficient manner, from the efficiency of the ladies in the office through to the professionalism of the surveyor (Danny) who checked her home. I would have highly recommend Richardson and Starling . Many thanks.”

“Davie is a very hard worker. Callum his apprentice is in good hands with Davie who clearly showed and teached him all realistic aspects of the job being carried out . Callum was very polite and pleasant mannered. I think the initial visit from the surveyor should be more realistic with the time scale of how long the job would take as it ran on longer than I was first told, which proved difficult for me re-arranging my shifts for work. It is a shame that the workman are pulled from one job to another , rather than completing one job properly before moving onto the next. Also it is important for the surveyor to give more detailed information regards the job to be undertaken as in giving them warning about parking, distance from van to property and so on. I feel very lucky to have had such a nice mannered man Davie who did is best to make the job run smoother.”
