Glad I checked the reviews !! I asked the telephone agent "Is this another ins. Co. where I need to show up for hospital care with a shoe box of $$$$ bills and you will 'HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK' his reply " No, just show your Regency card and you are admitted with no charges to you" That is NOT INSURANCE that is a SCAM. Bu-Bye Regency TOO MANY BAD REVIEWS!!

I will advice others to be careful. Regency is deceptive. They closed your policy without informing you . I asked for some form of refund it was denied.

Avoid this insurance scam. They deny your claims regardless of doctor’s recommendations. The worst HC insurance I’ve ever had. Im 63. 100% honest and real

Regency has denied my wife coverage for an operation that is scheduled for tomorrow to remove a nodule in her left breast. Although in the biopsy performed, came out as non-malignant, the fast growing and very irregular shape of the nodule, has raised concern among the team of oncologists at Ramathibodi Public hospital, so they advised her to remove the nodule and part of the surrounding tissue. It turns out that the “adviser" of Regency, thinks that this case could be left without surgery and proposes to monitore and wait when it acquires more alarming signs to proceed with the operation! I consider this argument totally unacceptable to deny assistance to my wife in something that worries her greatly. On the other hand, I find it inadmissible that the Regency "adviser" may question the medical criteria and protocol of the oncology team of a good hospital such as Ramathibodi Hospital. I do not think this is a way to manage claims from users.

Steer Clear is my best advice to anyone looking for medical insurance. Had to go to hospital after a routine checkup to have a Pacemaker fitted. Claim was rejected in full as I must have already had the heart problem!.. Even though it was asymptomatic they still don't have to pay out! Believe the poor reviews and steer well clear for the health of your finances as well as your health. Now watch for 5 or 6 5 star reviews to appear within the next couple of days!. that should give you an idea!.

We started our insurance with this company in December 2020. In the second week of January 2021 my son got a hernia. Due to his ongoing exams we waited till now to go to the doctor. The insurance rejected our claim to pay for the surgery because apperently it is a pre-existing condition. I did this result not with an email, someone who even didn't worked on this case called me and I had no chance to got a proper information or the chance to discuss this. I expect more.

Went to hospital fearing a stroke. Very weak and numbness in both arms, face and top of head. No fever, but feel extremely hot in the heat and shivering cold in the air conditioning in the waiting room. Major medical has so far refused all payment. Hospital did c scan, chest xray, blood tests and put me in Intensive Care Unit. Doctor said he felt I needed round the clock supervision. Still, Regency refused an payment authorization. I waisted $2500 on insurance that appears to be worthless. Now they say I can submit my receipts. I am sure it is an excercise in futility. And this over costs in Thailand which are relatively very low. I would not purchase again or recommend.

I took a policy for my husband in KSA, and on 2 occasions, there were so many hassles but No Authorisation!! The service is non existent, the agent promised that claim are settled immediately! They requested a comprehensive medical report 12 months prior to commencement of policy! Surely that is included in the application form! Very disappointed with Regency and would Not Recommend to anyone! In fact I will take the matter further!! A “patient” would die in an emergency! I have Never had such bad experiences with any health insurance company!

I want to say thank you to regency for the added benefits included in my health insurance plan. I am using the nutrition, fitness and counselling benefit frequently. The consultants are very knowleadgeable and experienced. I can already see the difference.

5 stars well deserved. The regency health insurance cover is a total comprehensive concierge plan. The staff treat you like a VIP and are there at you every need. Just when I though it could get any better, more added value services come my way, this week being free access to nutritionists and fitness instructors. Recommend.

I am lucky enough to have Regency health insurance cover for myself and my wife through my work. It is the best of all the employee benefits they provide. Both of us have had cause to use the cover and there has never been any dispute or problem. The customer service agents are all extremely friendly and reassuring and make sure that you understand the process and everything you need to know. I would recommend Regency without a moment's hesitation, they are outstanding in my view.

Not cheap but quite good value. Lots of additional benefits, but not sure if I will need to use them. Havent made a claim yet which will be the real test. The application was quite simple and the documents were sent to me same day.

Good experience using Regency health insurance. I recommend them to anybody needing cover. I have been insured through Regency expat health insurance for the last 5 years. They are really good value and a lot cheaper to buy than most other insurance options out there. I have submitted quite a lot of claims over the years and always had a super quick reimbursement of them. The last claim was for a stay in the Bumungrad hospital in Bangkok. I went in with stomach pains and was admitted to a hospital bed. My wife called Regency and within 1 hour they had contacted the hospital and guaranteed all the bills directly so that I didnt need to pay anything myself. I was in an amazing private room, the hospital staff were great and the people at Regency kept in contact with me and my family all the way through to make sure that I was ok. It ended up being gallstones. I am ok now but am incredibly grateful to Regency for being so caring and so responsive during this very worry time. Thank you!!!

Avoid at all costs. They are a scam. They don’t answer mails. They frustrate you. They always claim it’s a pre existing condition.
