I had the most horrible experience ever at this vinyl store. My stuff disappeared for four months even though I paid hefty taxes and shipping fees. Unanswered emails and evasive apologies characterised the appalling customer service. I was really upset with the general lack of transparency and satisfaction, even though it took a lot of work to get a refund. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by avoiding this store. Given the terrible service, one star seems appropriate.

Would be 0 star if possible. Order a large number of albums on the 23rd November 2023 with next day delivery. After 5 days I sent an email after receiving no further update on planned delivery. 5 days later I still haven't received an email from them. With no further response it will be a case of contacting the company directors with emails/letters from contact details via Companies House with equally a letter to the BBC's consumer program, "Rip Off Britain" to investigate.

Very poor do not recommend custom service no reply & website describes it dispatches your order within 48 hours & shipping is 24 hours sounds to good to be true & that's correct it's false selling all this expensive vinyl including latest issues, don't waste your time & effort please very disappointed.

Terrible after sales , you may wait 72 hours for a reply says the form builder it should say or we may not contact you at all, no matter how many messages you send -but they’re quick to take your money, I’ll deal with independent stores from now on not major labels like universal

Pre-ordered Nightmare Before Christmas. Not delivered on release date. Have emailed 4 times since and heard absolutely nothing. Looked online and apparently they "don't know when they'll be getting more from supplier" so offering refunds. Basically sold more than their allocation to boost monthly sales figures. Will order anything from this company again.

Absolute dog sh1te. Firstly they sent the wrong album - absolute jokers. You've literally got one job! then comes their customer service - shambolic / nonexistent. Two months have passed so far & no refund received for the difference in album price. (The album was a gift sent direct to a friend, who is actually happy with the album they sent, so I'm not returning it, just requesting £8 refund for the price difference). Thing is, I would class my self as pretty tech savvy.... Yet I struggled to actually find contact details for their customer service. It genuinely is not easy to find in the slightest. Then you have to buckle in for and endless loop of bullsh1t replies from email bots. Not a human in sight nor number to call. WITHOUT DOUBT THE WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE

I ordered 2 records with signed prints from recordstore, they took 2 days to arrive and came well packaged and in perfect condition. I saw all the bad reviews after I'd made the purchase so was worried but my experience has been great so thought worth sharing.

Not like any other vinyl companies. recently I have had two really bad experience with Recordstore.co.uk and both concern their customer management. I can not even remember any other occasion where I was treated so badly. First I made a pre-order for a limited vinyl. The release was postponed and since it was postponed more then a month I needed to update my credit card information. But instead of telling me exactly that they just canceled my order out of the blue. Any other company had sent a email saying "hey please update your credit card info if you still want your order." The second time I placed an order but when I got it one of the vinyls was missing. I emailed them asking where it was and got back that the vinyl was out of stock and gave my money back. Wait, I needed to email them about a lost record.. Why couldn't they come back to me much earlier? Don't sell records that you don't have.. This company just drives me crazy.

Useless customer care. Charged for one Ltd record and then weeks later told they haven’t got it. Don’t sell things you haven’t got.

Read previous reviews i was worried but Lo and Behold, package came on 20th day as stated inn perfect condition. I would definitely buy from them again

Ignored emails for two weeks about cancelling an order and then finally emailed to say sorry you should have contacted us earlier and we will not be cancelling the order. Customer service staff are not interested in the fact i emailed to cancel minutes after placing the order as they have requested via their website and they are the ones at fault. Very shocking company and would advise to not use them if you expect any customer service.

Like other reviewers promised items that weren't fulfilled bombarded with latest signed releases offered then just sent unsigned items I could buy at my local record store wont use again

Honestly i don't understand all these negative reviews, i ordered the signed edition of manic by halsey and it arrived in 10 days. Great service, I will buying again.

I have used record store for over 10 years, they are my go to site before anywhere else. A large percentage of my most prized viny and CD has come from these guys, (the last being the signed Who CD last week), signed,limited and special releases. If I have ever had a problem it's resolved, (That's not many!) Always delivered on time and exactly what I've ordered. Twitter is a great way to communicate with them as they are very responsive. Here's to the next 10 years! (No I don't work for them!)

Please do not order from this company if you ever want to receive your order within the time stated. I order a vinyl last Saturday 14th Dec, the last day for Christmas orders, just rang to find out when I will receive as I haven't had any emails to be told that they are out of stock!!!! That's just great at this time of the year to be told they never had the item and if I hadn't have rung would still be non the wiser. Do yourself a favour and stick with Amazon or HMV - will never ever use again.

Signed CD not received. Seems I’m not alone. Very disappointing - how hard can it be to take orders and ship items when you’re a shop? Basics.
