“The quotes came from firms that operate nationwide. They were very competitive but none was local to me so I did not give them a try. However, my view is coloured by a couple of bad experiences in the past.”

“Even though you sent me 5 firms,only one has contacted me so far,and that was only around 3pm today,which I replied to,but nothing since then. I take it you send details of what items,and phone numbers,as this person didn't seem to be aware,so thought I should go over it again, as I am only interested in Small Removal,as only have around a dozen items,but a few are very heavy.”

“Although I got several reponses, it appeared that not all information (especially pick up and delivery addresses) had been passed on to the companies that quoted. Consequently entire house removal quotes were offered in some cases despite the fact that I only wanted a single item moved.”

“It's fine and does what it says, but they foreward details to all suppliers which means you get bombarded with calls and emails.”

“I added my details hoping to get a few local quotes. Unfortunately I’ve been inundated with companies calling me to book surveys. Some companies were quite pushy to book in surveys and called and emailed daily.”

“Website good, quote nice and quick but no callback. No point having callback service with times if you don't call.”

“You get 4 fast quotes but despite what the site says you receive calls and emails from every party, wether you have chosen them or not. I didn’t choose any of the surveyors as three had 4 week waits for surveys and I needed earlier for a cash purchase. The only one available within two weeks had poor reviews (3.6 out of 5) and demanded cash payment before attempting to book any date. Avoided this one and found a more local company via Google within 10 days.”

“Provided a range of competitive quotes for a sale only conveyance. All the providers were a very long way away from my location. Some of the firms were very 'pushy'.”

“Got quotes through immediately and they were good and cheap prices, however I was looking to use a local Conveyancer and the website said that it wound find quotes from my local area but I only got quotes from National companies”

“I received prices & details for 4 removal firms straight away, which was good. On contacting/being contacted by them, it turned out none of them were actually quotes. All wanted to visit before providing a revised price, which was fine, and all prices were different to the quotes initially provided - some substantially so. Good site to get details of local companies, and I never felt pressured/spammed as can be the case with some aggregator sites, but I think 'estimates' would be a more accurate description than 'quotes'.”

“Very happy with the initial part of the service, and all suggested lawyers followed up very quickly. I can't give you 5 stars yet, as it is so early in the conveyancing process. Ask me again in 8 weeks time.”

“To be fair mid pandemic is probably not the best time to test the service, however after completing the room by room questionnaire we only received two responses; one simply stated "£TBA" and the other was only an indicative price from a company 80 miles away. We ended up using word of mouth to find a local firm. The one indicative price received through Reallymoving did help establish that the local company was quoting a fair deal so it wasn't a total waste of time, but certainly disappointing given the effort needed to complete the questionnaire.”

“Does what's claimed, but a bit disappointed that the four companies were not all that nearby. One would struggle to get to the address and back in a day. How many are on the books anyway?”

“Pros - Useful for getting an idea of prices for various services. - Clearly breaks down the costs which allows for a detailed comparison between services and options. Cons - Maybe I missed the part that said this would happen, but by submitting my details, these have been shared with the companies I got quotes from and I've been receiving lots of calls to discuss the quotes. This may have been a user error on my part, but if I'd known I'd be getting lots of calls then I wouldn't have used this site.”
