“At his is honestly the greatest gift for any booklover! The emails arrived excitedly each month with a beautiful synopsis of each book for you to choose from. The two books I have received to date, I have loved and I can confess that I would not have picked them off the shelf as they ‘weren’t my type of book’ Not only do you get introduced to new books, new characters, new authors, but the way that they arrive is so beautiful it continues the excitement - gift wrapped, to maintain secrecy, a book mark and a full summary of the book - and of course, the book itself! I am hooked, addicted, in love, smitten!”

“I really like being able to have a choice of book from a blurb. This means I haven’t been sent any books I have already read which had happened with a different book club I was a member of. The books have been very good choices and not always things I would have picked up which is why I like to be a member of a book club. I like the ability to review the book and read others’ reviews. It would be nice if this part was a bit more interactive.”

“I got a three month subscription to Rare Birds Books as a birthday gift, and it has been an absolute delight. Each month a recently released woman-written novel was delivered to me with gorgeous packaging, a note on why the RBB team chose it as an option, and a free bookmark. The two blurbs offered each month all felt fresh and exciting, and although I would say that there was a heavy lean towards romance (there was always at least one romance book in each of the three months I was subscribed for) there was a fantastic variety of books on the whole. I very much enjoyed this experience and would happily get another subscription in the future!”

“I was given a 3 month subscription for Rare Birds Book Club as a birthday present - such a nice idea for a gift! The subscription service is really well organised and gives you enough info to help with picking your monthly book, without giving too much away which keeps the element of surprise. It's a nice opportunity to read things that you might otherwise not choose and, whilst I haven't yet got involved, the only book review forum is such a nice idea. Good for those who might like the idea of joining a book club but might not have the time to meet regularly.”

“I was given a subscription for my birthday and it has been such a treat. It means my birthday gifts have kept on coming and I love choosing and receiving my books. It also means I am reading different books from my usual genre and that is all to the good. It is so easy to get stuck in a "rut" .”

“I was originally bought the subscription as a gift but loved it so much I purchased my own (and have bought as gifts for others)! I love the concept, it is great selecting your preference and getting a real book through the post. I have enjoyed all the books and have been introduced to some authors/books I would never have usually selected but really enjoyed. Highly recommended!”
