“Absolute rubbish. Did not provide a single quote. The whole point was to avoid receiving a dozen phone calls all asking the same questions. They will probably phone you at the most inconvenient times i.e. when you're at work or on the toilet.
Anyway I always give an old mobile phone number to avoid the calls.”

“I didn't like the way about two dozen companies started ringing within a few minutes, I would prefer e mail quotes.
That being said I responded to Peacock Insurance, I found them to be very efficient & polite, & using their beat any price I saved about £50.00 from last year.
I will be interested to see next year if the premium increases by about 25% which seems to be the norm. Why do insurance companies lose clients year after year who make no claims, they just put the premium up? Loyalty still counts!!”
“I had hoards of insurers calling me within minutes.... which was ok in itself as I was after insurance. What I wasn't impressed with was that they sold my data to other types of companies just as quickly... Almost instantly I also started receiving lots of PPI/Sky/Mobile phone/AA also which I was not happy to receive. It could have just been chance it coincided with my insurance request...but I suspect not. Be prepared if you do use them...”
“I had one ring-back that same evening, but said I would look at it the next day since I had been dealing with business all day. Next day I went on-line to the one who had rung me and had a very satisfactory quote. 4 Others firms also rang me to quote. so all in all a good experience.”

I was able to obtain a very good quote from a company who worked over the weekend , a time when many drivers have the time to look round for a good insurance quote. Was really looking for e-mail quotes so I could look at them in my own time and take my time considering them.
If you are looking to speak to someone by phone(potentially lots of people) then this is the place to go (although I'd be wary that you will now be getting calls forever from people trying to sell you things) but stay clear if your looking for a more considerate approach to gaining quotes. (e.g. e-mail quotes)”
