“Appalling service. Quickbit state they offer same day despatch and express delivery if orders are placed before 2pm; I ordered 35m of armoured cable at 9:10am on a Thursday so fully expected delivery on the Friday or the Saturday at latest. No sign of an order confirmation or delivery by lunchtime the next day so I telephoned them at 2:10pm to find out what was happening and the operative gave me a bare faced lie about the "tracking showing it should be out for delivery but might still be in the depot". In truth the courier (DX) didn't have the parcel or indeed any knowledge of the parcel as it hadn't even been shipped! At 2:17pm I *suddenly* get an order confirmation and notification that "a shipping label has been created", and that "delivery is expected on TUESDAY". If you can't meet a shipping target fine, but don't lie about it. If you'd told me the truth on the Friday afternoon I'd have cancelled the order. The cable was needed for a job over the long weekend, we had trade and machinery on site so I ended up buying a duplicate roll of armoured from TLC in order to get it done. Huge self build going on here and all future materials will be coming from TLC.”
