“The chocolate was tasteless did not live up to the hype. Will not buy again”

“The White Chocolate on this occasion seems to taste of fatty lard flavour and slightly waxy consistency, with hint of stale fat in the after taste and completely inedible. Dear Pure Heavenly… I tried a second bar of your white Chocolate and that too has a stale fatty waxy taste and consistency of which I personally find quite inedible. Please advise what action I can take to redeem my purchase cost. This bar too will have to be disposed of unless you requested it to be returned. In your previous reply you had said that investigators would check into the batch and see if there is this problem with present batches. I kindly sent you an image of the Chocolate bar and it’s batch number, please can you tell me your results. Please tell me how to receive a refund for the inedible White Chocolate bars. Thank you and waiting patiently…”

“I would give 0 stars if i could. Looked fed to trying the variety of flavours and opened 3 bars from taster box. Unpleasant waxy ferl and got horrible after taste so checked ingredients, noted a warning that excessive consumption may cause laxative effect- which is normally included in artificial sweeteners which i am opposed to. I chose this product for its promoted health and ethical values. Checked ingredients further and noted sorbitol, sucralose and polydextrose in ingredients. Totally shocked!!! All extremely bad for you. I feel the website has not been transparent, i have asked for full refund as i cannot eat them nor would i gift them. Extremely disappointed with dragons den recommendation too.”

“Probably the worst chocolate taste I ever put in my mouth! Like a very poor baking chocolate, that doesn't melt properly in the mouth! I will avoid this like the plague!”

“Unfortunately it is flavour free too. Wax like texture…doesn’t melt easily. This stuff is absolutely terrible! I was so disappointed after the rave reviews from Dragons Den….what had they been smoking to give this stuff the thumbs up!? Avoid at all costs!”

“Due to the company being supported by Dragon Den and the expectation of a superior chocolate as it has a very high price tag . I was bitterly disappointed by the product. Beautiful good quality packaging but the product absolutely disgusting. Looks like chocolate tastes nothing like chocolate. I look for dairy free products and if I can sugar free. It is difficult to find the combination of both. Vegan chocolate great ! Sainsburys sugar free choc not bad. So what’s wrong with it? Taste bland dark coffee no coffee taste in fact all of the flavours ordered sooo bland. The texture is also soooo wrong . It has a fine grainy texture as you eat it probably due to two fibre ingredients added. Why? Lastly the aftertaste is really horrible I had to eat good old Lindt chocolate afterwards to help take the taste away. Chocolate lovers stay well away from heavenly NOT chocolate.”

“Ordered in good faith Told by Royal Mail ,,delivery was made on tracking app , however no delivery was ever made , contacted pure heavenly chocolate to be told……… chase it up with Royal Mail …… errr no !!! Not my choice of delivery service You chase it up !!! obviously no time for after sales No impressed. First and definitely last time I shop here !! How does chocolate taste ??? Who knows ?”

“Wow! I love this. The flavours to me are lovely. I've just had the milk Lemon and Lime. I found it so delicious. I could easily only eat this chocolate in future. I struggle with dairy and sugar but miss it, but as I have stomach issues had to look for alternatives. This chocolate does not irritate the stomach. I'm not getting shaky from low sugar crashes after eating it. So grateful the superb flavours are here. The texture I like. Okay it is different to Dairy and Sugar chocolate, but I like it. Delicious! Thankyou.”

“My husband purchased the milk chocolate selection for me as an Easter gift as I am lactose intolerant. He was less than impressed with the delivery and had to call several times to ask why it was taking so long. As for the confectionery itself, I fail to see how it can be called chocolate, the overriding aftertaste is dextrose, the flavours are very artificial and the only resemblance it has to chocolate is colour and at a push, texture. Sorry to be so damning, I commend you for your ‘free from’ principles but if chocolate doesn’t taste of chocolate, what’s the point?”

“Let's start with the mouth feel. The 'milk' has a grainy, almost gritty texture. The plain is better, but has a rather waxy texture. Neither is pleasant. As for flavours, I have not been through the whole of the selection box yet, but first impressions are not good. The lemon was acceptable, but the banana had that catch-the-back-of-the-throat artificial taste of the cheap banana split sweets I used to waste my pocket money on over 60 years ago. The strawberry, too, seemed totally synthetic. For me, a waste of money. Back to real chocolate.”

“I tried the dark tasting kit. I love dark chocolate and tend to have some most days and I also like to keep my sugars/carbs light. I’m afraid to say this is horrible -hard to describe but didn’t taste real - very artificial flavoured and not chocolatey. The 85% chocolate available from most supermarkets is way nicer and just as little sugar/carbs (in fact less) as this stuff. No issues with ordering and delivery just a shame it is not nice!”

“Just tastes absolutely vile- nothing like chocolate at all! The dark is vaguely more acceptable than the milk substitute but still horrible. Really don’t get why people are buying this stuff. We had a big box of it for Christmas but literally everyone hated it so it ended up in the bin.”

“Received my blueberry gift box today. Lovely chocolates. As a diabetic this chocolate is fantastic for me lovely treat. The only downside to this delivery is the 2 bars white chocolate are all broken. Such a disappointment.”

“i have a very sweet tooth and after being told ive type 2 diabetes needed an alternative,i ordered on the monday and it arrived tuesday ,i ordered the taster box ive only tryed the banana one so far but if the rest tastes like this i will be ordering somemore i realy liked it”

“If you have a sweet tooth don’t buy these. Because they don’t have the sugar of normal chocolate they taste awful. They don’t do refunds if you don’t like the taste.”
