Fantastic company who carried out our wishes regarding my aunty perfectly, took alot of stress off our shoulders.Catherine was so lovely and helpful. Will use this company again when the need arises.

This is an excellent service. From the first contact made with Catherine I felt that my wishes were important and were understood, that the sensitivity of the matter was appreciated and that I could trust the service offered. There were no hidden costs, everything is clearly explained on the website - and then again over the telephone, in a professional and gentle manner. On the day itself I was treated with courtesy and kindness by Catherine and her husband. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending the service offered by Pure Cremation. I have already thanked them personally for making a difficult matter much less distressing than it could so easily have been.

The cremation of my mother was organised and facilitated in highly professional and dignified manner. With fantastic communication we were kept informed every step of the way. Powell and family Ltd have my highest reccommendation and my deepest thanks.

Thank you so much for the all the care and kindness provided to our family for my darling wife, with a special mention to Stephanie C and all the team at Pure Cremation. We were so thankful we chose the attended commital, which enabled us to say our goodbyes and reminisce with sadness, flowers, music and laughter. Forever grateful.

You recently looked after my mum, Norma Allan, and from the beginning to the end, I have been met with nothing but good impressions. I was a bit anxious as I’d never used a service such as this and felt without a funeral I wouldn’t be able to draw a line, however on receiving mum’s ashes and Ian explanation of everything and the opportunities available to come over to visit the crematorium and see where mum’s last resting place was. Thank you all so much.

Excellent and professional service from the initial call. Was sceptical about this as didn’t know anyone that had used this service but would highly recommend it. Every person we either spoke to or met during our dark days was 100% professional and compassionate. Thank you all.

My experience with Pure Cremation was somewhat mixed. They were fantastic when I first made contact with them and were very attentive during the couple of weeks that followed, calling me for updates regarding the green form and then letting me know when the committal was taking place. Unfortunately, the process went awry as we headed towards Christmas. The last time the customer care team member who was managing my uncle's cremation contacted me of her own volition was on the 13th December advising me that my uncle's committal would be taking place on the 16th December. I was advised that I would receive a call from the delivery team within 5 working days of the committal date to book in the delivery of the ashes. Needless to say, I didn't receive a call and so all subsequent contact was from my side - me chasing them to find out when my uncle's ashes were going to be delivered. On the 3rd January I called Pure Cremation and was told the ashes would be delivered to me on the 9th January. I did end up asking to speak to a senior manager the following day as I was very disappointed with the service I had received. I should not have had to keep calling them to find out what was happening and I don't feel that they managed my expectations. I appreciate that December and January are busy times but this is their bread and butter so they know that, they’re an experienced company within their industry and so they should have robust processes in place to ensure a seamless customer experience. Communication is key in this type of business but it was sadly lacking which is a great shame as the first part of the process was faultless and very professional so I’m not sure why it went so wrong and I don’t think Christmas can really be used as an excuse. Wishing to end on a positive note, Emma Soul who delivered my uncle’s ashes was lovely. She is clearly passionate about what she does and enjoys her job which is something of a rarity these days. She was very professional, personable and kind… thank you so much Emma.

I am very disappointed in Pure Cremation as things didn't go well from the start. Firstly it has taken from 25th October to 18th November for the process to be sorted. Definitey not straight forward or stress free. From the first phone call communication was poor at best and felt very scripted. First thing I was told was the outstanding balance on the plan had to be paid before anything could be done. Which seemed rather harsh when you are coming to terms with losing a loved one. Documents sent by docusign with authorisations to release the body did not arrive back to Pure Cremation even though I received a message confirming the document had been sent. This caused delays making arrangements for my partners body to be released for collection from hospital. 3 weeks later we are still waiting for an update as at this point I had no idea where my partner was; if he had been collected from hospital, when the committal was due to take place. If they could not contact me by phone it was not followed up by email or text. 7th November, they realised the hospital would not accept docusign authorisations but required an original document with an original signature so another delay. The young lady who finally brought my partner home was lovely and very sympathetic to the fact she was bringing home a loved one. Maybe I was just unlucky as so many people have received the experience that was sold to them.

Brilliant. My wife passed away at home, I notified you, and you came very soon after to take her. Pure Cremation was my wife's idea, and I will always be grateful to her, for the pressure that she took from me. I went to stay with my son who lives in Malta, I explained the situation to you and you looked after the ashes until I returned. The ashes were delivered personally to me when I came home. For me, you were the perfect cremation. I cannot thank you and all your staff enough Regards, Terry

My partner and I had both talked about using Pure Cremation as we neither wanted a fuss nor seemingly unrealistic eulogies. That said, we hadn't booked anything in advance. So, when my partner passed away after battling cancer, I was a little concerned about trying to make the necessary arrangements. I needn't have worried; arrangements were made swiftly and sensitively. The communication was excellent throughout and my partner's ashes were returned to me just over 3 weeks after passing.

I highly recommend pure cremations. Throughout my journey when my husband passed away which is very recent. All the staff there from the moment someone picked up my husband to keeping me informed throughout the journey have been amazing. They are absolutely helpful. Nothing is to much trouble and everyone is very respectful and caring and will do anything to help you. Thank you to all the team at pure cremations.

This is the final journey that our Dad chose. The staff were very sweet and informative. I would say that it's very different to a normal goodbye and it's wise to speak to your family to make sure they understand the process.

Very good was not sure about this to start with but I think it's the new way to say goodbye would recommend to all 10 out of 10 so easy to deal with and care taken to keep us up to date sorted it all with respect thanks to all the staff

My wife was adamant she did not want a big fussy funeral. In fact she intended to organise a direct cremation herself but became too ill to attempt it. This was a very difficult time for the family. Pure Cremation did an excellent job. Julie kept me informed of progress at each stage and was a kind voice at the end of the phone. Callum who delivered the ashes was a quiet and respectful presence at a particularly painful moment. Very satisfied

Pure Cremation looked after my mum and dad just a few months apart. They kept us informed every step of the way, hand delivered the ashes and were available for advice if needed. Having seen how smoothly everything went with my mum’s cremation my dad chose to go the same way.

There was unfortunately a long delay between my late brother's death and when the coroner released his remains for cremation. Pure Cremation kept me up to date with developments throughout the process. Once the correct paperwork was completed, the committal took place promptly and the ashes were returned to me in a timely manner. All calls were answered promptly and sensitively, which put my mind at rest.

Overall a good service, but I was hurt when my husband was collected from our home and the black sheet covering him had holes in it. I felt this was disrespectful.

We have chosen to use covers to keep intact the dignity of the deceased during these transfers into our care. We will raise this with the management team to ensure all of our equipment is up to the high standard that we would expect. Kind regards, Chloe

Hi people, if you have pure cremations contract, please keep in mind, if you decide to cancel you will be charged £350.00 just for admission fee before they refund your money. This should be important to you. This is thow my personal experience.
