“Bulk bag of cobbles ordered that should have been sized 30-100mm each cobble. Included was quite a lot of "gravel" chippings and dust - I'd estimate 10% of the weight of the bag was unusable. Hence the one star. This was my second bulk bag purchase - the first was as described. At £499 plus delivery this isn't acceptable.”

Hi Suzannah. Many thanks for your review. I'm so sorry to learn you experienced a quality issue with the product received. Looking at the Kelkay Black Sea Cobbles we have in the yard, I've not seen anything like this and can only assume that the image provided was of some contamination at the bottom of the bag? I checked the order but didn't see any notes to say you had contacted us regarding the issue. We value our customers and are always eager to resolve any quality issues, on the rare occasions when they arise.

“Ordered Scottish pebbles 20-40mm. On enquiry was told that pallet weight (with full bag) was 950kg compared to most other suppliers at 850kg. Including delivery, about £40 cheaper than many others. Quality was pretty good - a few more 'rogue' stones than others I have ordered but still really good value. Delivery was a little confusing as I had to select a date on a calendar about 7 days ahead but in fact they arrived on day 3 (as they advertised). Overall, very good service and good looking product at a good price.”
