“Using the maple ignite gel to give me full energy on my long runs in marathon training absolutely brilliant and so good on my stomach. I suffer from IBS and this is one of the only gels I can use with no issues I also use the run easy collagen powder to aid with my recovery again highly recommended”

“I found Protein Rebel around a year ago and I’ve been using the protein shakes ever since. Firstly, let’s talk customer service: they have never once let me down on an order and I receive my products promptly and usually with a nice little message inside which makes my day. With the shakes , had to get over the initial thought of eating crickets, but it’s the first protein shake I’ve been able to use that (sorry for that graphic) didn’t make me run for the toilet after taking. It’s definitely softer on my digestive system and it may seem like a little thing but I love the fact that they don’t put plastic spoons in the shakes. You just use a tablespoon which is better for the environment, as well as using crickets rather than animal proteins. I have just ordered the new collagen powder, which has inspired me to leave this review. I’ve been using collagen powder for some years now, and I have tried three other companies, ‘tasteless’ collagen powder and everyone of them I’ve sent back because it foams at the top and I can’t stand it. I had to convert to a flavoured one which was better at dissolving, but I’m not keen on orange flavoured drinks, this collagen powder, I have mixed into my coffee every day and I have not had any residue from it. I’m super impressed with how well it dissolves. I know it seems silly, but I absolutely love the little ‘paint style’ tin that it comes in too 😅”

“Absolutely recommend. The sheer physical exhaustion eased within 3 days. 9 days later, I am 60% back to my old bantering self. Wish I had discovered this amazing product 16 months ago - before a nightly diet of 4 hours of fragmented sleep and a daily minimum of 6 hours (down from a daily minimum of 20 hours until 4 months ago) of rocking a 13 kg pre-toddler took its severe toll. Thanks Protein Rebel team for this amazing product.”

“Hi So far so good, easy digested, great taste and no impact on my sensitive gut. One negative, why is there no measuring spoon in with the powder, trying to gauge/collect 3tablespoons from the tub is very difficult, flat or heaped, big difference in amount.”

Thanks for the review Michael! Glad you are finding it tasty and easy to digest. Your question over the measuring scoop is a good one. We are trying to reduce our impact on the planet. As part of that commitment, we also decided to not include a scoop. Our tubs are fully recyclable and use 30% post consumer material. “Protein Rebel is by far the best protein shake I have had. I have been used to using whey protein for my workouts, which sometimes can leave me feeling bloated and heavy on my stomach. Due to the pea and cricket protein in the Reload shakes you just don’t get this at all. Fantastic taste as well”

“As an endurance athlete, training 6-7 days a week, recovery is key 🔑 I have tried a dozen different vegan protein powders, and Protein Rebel banana & chocolate have been my favourite, by far! The protein tastes great, includes the full amino profile, and improves my recovery tremendously. The customer service is fantastic; always so friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. The sustainability of the company deserves a lot of commendation; putting planet before profit, and always looking for ways to improve 🌎 Highly recommend!”

“Super speedy delivery, I ordered the chocolate and banana flavour. It’s really simple to mix, 3 spoon fulls, 10 seconds to shake and it’s done. I like the fact it’s only 250ml, I find this super easy to drink. It isn’t gritty and tastes ok. I’ve been using it for around 3 weeks now and I’ve really noticed a difference. I’m fuller, I snack less (I use it after my bike commute) and generally feel better in myself. I’ve had no headaches which I used to get after riding especially given the warm weather. I also suffer from IBS and haven’t suffered any effects, something which I have had when I’ve tried these products (from different brands) before. I’ll definitely be ordering again.”

“Prompt delivery and great product. Felt great after using it, I’ve always been rather bloated and over full when I have used whey protein products in the past, so Protein Rebel is a superior alternative. I also love what the company stands for and their approach to the environment. 👏”

“Loving the Protein Rebel powders. They are easy to drink, not too sickly sweet. I have Reload after resistance training and Recover after my runs. I also add them to my porridge. Love the company ethos too.”
