Like the previous post, I was with Protect My Property (previously Dyno Systems) for 10+ years. No notification that it was taken over by ADT. Telephoned ADT that I have an issue only to be told ADT have no contract in my name, I even sent the invoice to prove i am still in contract! ADT only do monitored systems now which mine wasn't. Says it all really...only chose the systems they wanted. Have written to directors of Protect My Property, ADT and M Group Services. Good luck

I was a customer of PMP for over 10years and without much warning or a choice I have just been pushed over to ADT. I am so annoyed about not having a choice as so far I have had to phone ADT about their incompetence more times since February this year than I ever did in 10years with PMP. Not a very good way of treating loyal customers, SHAME ON YOU PMP

I would give it zero. Alarm keeps going off. Called ADT (taken over) worst customer service ever. All they can do is pass the message to Protectmyproperty and promises to call back. No call backs . ADT response nothing more they can do. STAY CLEAR of ADT

Beyond bad! They have just sold out to ADT. Have not had serviced although pay for 2 per year. Not had two within four years. No attempt to arrange. Just kept putting up price to over £30+ per year. Now in no man’s land as ADT cannot confirm one. Protect my Property still taking money from my bank.

Appalling company. Business now sold to ADT who might actually salvage something from this train wreck.

stop lying "engineer attended and was missing a part" 1 - engineer did not attend 2 - protectmyproperty knew the part was required that was the whole point of the job Easy one - don't lie Easy two - if you need to fit a part, make sure you have one before the job.

Absolutely dreadful company. I would advise everyone to steer clear. I had my alarm installed by a different company and all was good however they were bought out by Protect my Property. I am supposed to have an annual service and the previous company would phone me to book it but this never happens with PMP. If you need any help, expect to be on hold for about half an hour before anyone answers the phone then they’ll tell you to email / someone will call you / you’ll get something in the post. This will never happen. This company is in a mess and I would give 0 for customer service if I could.

Been with this company for in excess of 20 years (undergoing several name changes) The engineers are great – especially Chris – only reason why I stuck with them for so long. The office, however, is a different story - despite paying for 2 x services a year – they rarely contact the customer – leaving it to the customer to contact them. I have recently cancelled my contract (I think) as have had no written confirmation from them and despite making several phone calls no one returns my messages. I now notice they have taken a direct debit after my contract end date – refund requested from bank – so presume they haven’t even updated their systems. I understand they are losing customers hand over fist …

unbelievably bad customer services, you wait ages to get through to a message answering service, they tell you someone will call you back, they never do, the use to be a good company, i think the engineers still are, but now you should avoid them, they take your money and don't give you any service

No customer service. Have finally stop ysing COVID as the rationale for lack of service appointments, shortage of staff, working from home with no access to information etc etc and no can't even be bothered to make up a reason. 6 monthly service happens about every 18 months, only when I chase and first appointment never happens because the person scheduled to visit has left the Company. Complaints Manager is presumably overwhelmed and hence why they don't do anything either. Finished one call when the operative asked me 'did I expect a refund on my cat insurance at the end of the year if I hadn't made a claim' in response to my enquiry about why I was paying for a service I wasn't receiving. Ended up with Protect My Property thru a series of acquisitions - would never chose to use and wish I could work out how to switch my monitoring and service to an alternative supplier without having to have a new system installed.

This company has been on the decline for a while and continues to get worse and worse. The engineers are great but the office is a shambles. Appointments booked but not honoured, call backs promised but never received, working systems promised but it's simply not the case. It takes weeks to get an engineer to come out due to (I belive) high staff turnover - I can't blame them. Their solution, for almost all faults, is to get an engineer to call and remove sensors. Basically disarm the system you paid for as this negates the need for anyone to actually attend the property and fix the fault. Ridiculous. I would seriously recommend shopping around if you are in the market for a system.

Terrible products. Not pet friendly. Called twice to move/adjust sensors for cats and still they would trigger the alarm. Also once you stop paying them they will not bother to come and remove old equipment and now it's ringing because it's low battery and essentially we are buggered now because we have to pay an electrician to take the s**** equipment out

Have a faulty sensor, they want to bypass it so its not classed as an urgent fault to be fixed. How can this leave your property secure? Expected to wait 2 weeks for an engineer, leaving customer and property vulnerable. They want your money but offer no service. Again like previous comments unless you contact them they do not honour their contract of 2 services per year.

We used to get an annual service in January each year but for several years have to ring them in order to get it done. Last year service was in April after bringing them, this year August again after reminding them. Engineer came and was very thorough but just after he left the alarm activated even when it wasn’t set. Rang and they isolated a zone, told they would ring me back to come and rectify but five days later nothing. Rang them again to sort it out and told it would be three weeks before they can come to rectify. Considering how expensive they are the service is appalling. Steve Vickers

I was very disappointed with the response from this company. My alarm is not working due to a battery fault. I was this morning, 31st May, quoted the 22nd August as the next available appointment. I am told that this is not an emergency in spite of of the fact that we are elderly vulnerable clients. I also found the staff, member, quite rude and dismissive. We had a contract with the Gas Board for this alarm. It was suddenly transferred to this provider. Having experienced such poor service I will look at my options.

We have a faulty fire alarm. We reported the fault some time ago and have been given many excuses for the engineers failure to arrive. We have had the fire service called out and they believe we are not we have an incorrect installation. Today the fire alarm has sounded with phone calls twice. An enginer on phoned and instructed me on how to disconnect the alarm. The alarm sounded AGAIN at 4am. Service of Protect my Property is abysmal About to go viral.

The engineer who attended today curtis was very polite, helpful and professional. Talked me through things so that i was able to understand some of the functions on the key pad.

Missed appointments. Technicians arrive without all the equipment needed. Technicians sent who aren’t trained to do the work required. Told where something is to bed fitted they fit it elsewhere. System not serviced for 2 years and they blame Covid. So far they are proving themselves incompetent and unprofessional. Want to know more?

Half an hour for them to answer their phone, over an hour waiting for a technician to call me back for a reset and then he was rude to me! Would not recommend!
