Probikekit started 11 years ago by selling pro cycling team kit online from a barn, nobody else seemed to do team kits back then, and very few people had heard of the Internet. Now we sell some of the best cycle clothing, equipment and components in the world. “Expensive customs costs were applied to my order and these are not reimbursed by retailer. I don't recommend using as there is no indication during purchase of how much these might be.”

“I ordered a pair of tires from ProBikeKit. One had a puncture already in it, so I went online and did everything to send it back. I did not hear anything from them but when I contacted them they asked for my tracking number. I stated that I no longer had the tracking number receipt. They said, they couldn't help me. They claimed it was probably lost or something else. I don't buy this for a second and when I asked what kind of system do they have for Returns that they need the tracking number because even if it does arrive, where does it go? Do they only look at Return Items when tracking numbers and the rest of the stuff go into a separate room or garbage? I don't get it, but I will never buy from them again.”

“Ordered an item, which pro bike kit shipped incorrectly and was returned to sender. They then would not honor the original price when I wanted to order the item again. Several hours or customer service with no direct email option, only ‘do not reply’ emails”

“I'm having a terrible experience dealing with customer service after they shipped one wheel to my house in Utah and one wheel to Uraguay. They're terrible at getting back to you in a timely manner and they're having trouble confirming I even ordered from them. Maybe the person in Uraguay didn't order anything from them but if I didn't order from them, they're a disorganized disaster if they randomly mailed me a Zipp wheel for no reason.”

“Awful company, do not order from them. It's been over 3 weeks since my order. No updates from them and no word if or when my order will arrive.”

“Order placed Sept 6th, Shipped Sept 7th, Arrival Oct. 20th. If I was ordering from China, I would expect this, but I would expect better from a website with a .ca ending. In addition, with an order of $210 I had to pay another $35 in duties. This was my worst experience ordering bike components and I have intentionally ordered from oversea websites with better results.”

“Awful company run by people who have no clue. My bike case didn’t arrive and when I contacted them they initially couldn’t find the order even though I sent them all the information. After confirming my details a million times because each time you contact them through the site they take forever to come back to you and it’s someone who also wants all your details once again. I asked them if they’d like my blood to confirm DNA. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Would never recommend them to anyone”

“This is another Company that makes you think you will get your order and it is coming from the USA. But no it is not, and you will have paid but see no progress in the shipment in weeks. You can send message after message and even get a FedEx Tracking number with no further results other than FedEx telling you they have not even received the package yet! How do these companies keep getting away with this. I take partial responsibility for ordering from ANY COMPANY NOT IN THE USA! Don’t do it!”

“Ordered 6 items, 1 item was correct. Their customer service was incredibly awful. Didn't bother reading any correspondence sent to them and still haven't issued a refund. They are a complete joke!”

“Horrible customer service. I placed an order and paid extra 16.23 for two day shipping. On day 4 I'd yet to receive tracking information. Then Luis responded "We regret that we are unable to provide an approximate dispatch date. I immediately request to cancel my order, so they updated my order to "cancelation in progress". a few days later they send an email stating order was shipped. I sent several emails requesting them to stop the order, because I'd already placed the same order with another company "Bikinn" who offers same two day service and processed my order in hours and shipped as stated. Back to probikekit. One week later and no tracking #, even though they claim its shipped. Last time with Probikekit.”

“Probikekit is useless. I ordered goods and was told that delivery would take up to 12 days. The cheap skate local postal services tell me that the package may take up to 3 months to arrive in South Africa. What a joke. I'm sure I will never see the package. Never use these clowns. Rather use Merlin Cycles. You will have your order in 4 days guaranteed.”

“Avoid this company! Bought 6 Michelin 25mm tires that actually measured less the 23mm wide on the rim. Contacted the company and asked for a return and they made me pay for the return from US to UK when they sold me tires they misrepresented in on their site and should pay return postage.”

“delivery has not been made. They say they sent it but the delivery company say they have not received it. There is no one you can talk to. You can't leave a review on their website, although there's a page talking about leaving a review. But no way to do so. All telephone numbers to the company do not work anymore. I wold certainly not order from this company again.”

“After spending hundreds of dollars with this company years ago, they forgot to send me a pair of socks among my items, I tried contact and refund, and got ZERO response. I let it go. Just recently I've made another purchase, thinking I'd get luckier but I WAS WRONG! They forgot to mention, on a package weighting less than 500grams, I'd have an importation fee of 100$, which is essentially 1/3 of the cost of the purchase. One of the products came with the WRONG SIZE ! and they didn't bother to answer a single message I've wrote. I'm ashamed of giving PBK a second chance and I won't spend a dime with this company EVER again.”

“Absolutely terrible service and have not sent the item I purchased - do not use this company. Web page does not let you contact them, has no way of finding out what has happened to your order. Seems more like a scam than a real site.”

“They use a .ca domain but are shipping from UK. This is misleading and leads to a 40% customs clearance charge on the order. At that price, I could've went to a local bike shop and bought the same items for WAY cheaper. I wish I could make this review 0 star Do not use this site if you are Canadian. You'll regret it! Also as a e-commerce developer, I must add that this is a very bad business practice and, although not illegal, it should be! Shame on you Probikekit.ca”

“I won’t ever use this company again. I ordered a continental 5000 tyre delivery said 3 days. 1 month later I am still waiting. Just received an email saying that they expect delivery some time in November!!!!!! Now I have the chore of trying to get my money back.”
