“Re: Dr Daniella Herescu; Consultant Psychiatrist at The Private Therapy Clinic. We cannot rate Dr Daniella highly enough. My 16 yr old daughter had a two hour consultation with her. She immediately put my daughter and myself at ease, she listened, was friendly, personable and understanding as well as thorough and professional. As requested, prior to the consultation we had provided detailed information going back to my pregnancy, my daughter's childhood development, family history and information from a third party. It was evident that Dr Daniella had read this thoroughly before the consultation as she referred to various aspects of it throughout. At the end of the 2 hour consultation Dr Daniella was able to diagnose my daughter's condition, write a detailed assessment report and prescribe medication. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Daniella and the Private Therapy Clinic. Such a blessing to have found them.”

“After starting the medication for ADHD my mind has stopped every conversation I ever had running through it with the emotional response to that. My body has relaxed and I have peace. It was hell trying to do my degree with every negative word that has been said replaying at the same time. Little wonder I have autoimmune issues from all that going on in my head, my body dissolved my thyroid. I can hear the birds now and can focus on details. I cant explain how hard it was raising children with all the noise in my head. Please if you're suffering this seek help as I have been wonderfully supported by Dr Daniella.”

“PTC & Dr Daniela Herescu was great, I highly recommend PTC staff are helpful, friendly, professional and compassionate health care I had assessment with Dr Daniela Herescu after suffering in silence from Pyshologistical problems for a while which have had huge impact on my day to day activities and functioning but I been overwhelming, confused and nervous about discussing my mental health problems but when I met Dr Daniela she made me feel at ease to talk with her about my mental health, she was supportive, professional, compassionate and non judgemant After assessment with her I felt like Dr Daniela know me well in a very short time, because she pointed out more things about my mental health which I been struggling to admit and address and she made treatment plan and recommendation to help me get better Dr Daniela is amazing and I can't thank her enough for helping me to understand myself better toward my recovery”

“I had a very positive experience with Dr Shyamal Mashru - he has a calm, gentle manner which helped me to relax and open up during my appointments. After lifelong rapid cycles of anxiety, depression, impulsiveness, insomnia, mental fatigue, emotional dysregulation, lack of concentration, hyper-focussing, etc, I finally realised at age 40 that I might have ADHD. I did hours of research before choosing a psychiatrist and decided that Dr Shy was the best fit for me - I was right as I was in safe hands throughout the entire process from diagnosis to titration and he helped me to understand the chemical imbalance that ADHD creates in the brain. It truly has been a life-changing experience to be diagnosed with the root cause of all the symptoms, its been the missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle that I've been searching for. I highly recommend Dr Shy for anyone seeking an ADHD diagnosis - my only regret is not doing it sooner!”

“I was extremely nervous about having a QbCheck but Edward was very warm and friendly and put me at ease. He explained the test and the results very clearly and listened to my questions attentively. Edward suggested that based on my results I might like to pursue a full ADHD assessment. I agreed and he forwarded a supporting letter along with my results to my Gp to make a referral. “I found the sessions very helpful, with a variety of great strategies which helped me overcome issues which were holding me back. The reassurance I received from Laura about my progress and abilities also greatly encouraged me - and whilst I sometimes thought I could have benefited with a longer stretch of weekly sessions - I believe the monthly intervals actually encouraged me to try out more techniques for myself and proved to me that I could tackle things which previously caused me anxiety, and do well as a result. “My first experience with PTC and one of their psychiatrists saved my life. All of the private psychiatrists in the UK refused to take over my case as my main psychiatrist is located in Spain and since 2019 I had to travel to Malaga to receive my prescription (plus short psychiatric treatment + IV drips). However after the changes in European regulations on travelling with medication (no more than 2 months supply) and also experiencing financial issues during that time, I was unable to get my main prescription. Even though I've been taking my medication for many years and been under psychiatric treatment since 2019 under the supervision of head psychiatrist & owner of the private psychiatric clinic in San Pedro, no NHS doctor wanted to help me. So first time since the beginning of my treatment in 2019, I was off 4 out of 5 of my medications, I only had tranquillizes for my severe insomnia but no antidepressants, no mood stabilisers, no anti psychotics nor lisdexamfetamine. And due to me physically & mentally being unable to be off my antidepressant, I had ongoing psychosis+ withdrawal effects for 2 months, and also 3 suicide attempts for the first time since 2019. Right after my 3rd attemp, the next morning I received an email from PTC asking if I want an appointment with Dr. D Herescu (in 2 days) and I of course agreed. Dr. Daniela understood my issue straight away and I'm not exaggerating but she is the doctor who saved my life. When majority of UK psychiatrists have the same toxic prejudice towards patients with BPD & Bipolar & C-PTSD, Dr Daniela was the first UK doctor who acted in professional manner and not only she immediately understood the nature of my problems, she actually helped me. She didn't hesitate, she helped and continues helping and I can't thank enough for what Dr. Daniela has done for me. My medication is the main thing that keeps me alive and now I'm able to get my prescription without travelling to Spain every couple of months. I also wanted to say big thank you for all of the PTC employees who was in contact with me from the beginning and helping me through out the process. Thank you again to Dr. Daniela Herescu and to the Private Therapy Clinic's team!”
