Items arrived within a week. Items faulty, requested a return the following day. I have waited 3 weeks for a collection. Numerous phone calls and emails. I wonder if this is a delay tactic in order to not return my money? Apparently, another 10 days wait for refund if/when items collected. I would AVOID, choose a company that can honor its returns policies and puts the customer first. Who knows if I will ever get my refund for the faulty goods I paid for and they sent out. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Rowing machine programmable lcd controller stopped working. Cant seem to get and reply regarding repairs or parts.

Ordered an item that never arrived. It was apparently “lost”. Assured twice that another ( or maybe 2 more) were on their way. They must be lost too…. Very careless company losing so many items. I wouldn’t waste your time or money.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a Taurus Z9 Pro Racing bike for £1200. We have used it 5 times and the gears no longer work. We have tried to contact customer services but they never answer nor respond to our emails. I am stuck with a bike that cost me £1200 and does not work. I want a refund immediately!

iN SHORT STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPLETE IDIOTIC COMPANY WHO COULD NOT ORGANISE A P....S UP IN A BREWERY. COMPLETELY USELESS, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. TRY TO GET HOLD OF SOMEONE THEY PASS YOU FROM HERE TO KINGDOM COME.

Treadmill engine burnt out after 11 months, reported immediately on 25 november, still well within warranty, excuses and apologies but no actions since. Suspect company is failing

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY UNTIL YOU HAVE READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS. Ordered an £800.00 rowing machine and wished I’d gone to another retailer. Their communication is appalling promised calls to me were never made, no order update emails and I had to continually had to phone Powerhouse to see where my order was! They lost my order in their warehouse and needed 48 hours to find it and would never give me a straight answer regarding delivery of my order and consistently blamed XTC for delays. XTC were no better when they eventually called me they initially said no staff were available as it was a 2 operative delivery. Eventually I managed to convince XTC to deliver but the depot manager said that I would need to ring him on the day of delivery to remind him to arrange the delivery!!!! He also told me that one person would be coming and I would need to help him to unload it and get it into the house!!! When it arrived English was not the drivers first language so with my help he just dumped it in our hall and left. On Powerhouses Courier service XTC’s website they state that with 2 person reviews the item will be placed in the room of your choice. In my case I was left to move a 56kg large ionboxed rower upstairs with the help of my wife. The notion of any kind of customer service is completely missing from Powerhouse and XTC. It took 3 weeks for delivery and I did not receive the post delivery phone call promised by Powerhouse. This may have something to do with me asking for a compensatory gesture from Powerhouse tO compensate me for all of the aggravation! SO BUY FROM THEM AT YOUR PERIL.

Ordered a rowing machine on the 26th Nov. Turned up damaged 2nd Dec – Sent email and pictures straight away. No response so done an online chat and they said they will arrange delivery of new machine and collection of old machine, will get an email that weekend. Monday 6th Dec got an email to confirm this Had email on 11th Dec from XDP to say they were collecting that evening! Didn’t turn up, said they carded but luckily I have a camera to prove they didn’t show up. No response from Powerhouse till 14th Dec to apologise, the same day I had another email from XDP to say they were collecting that day (we work full-time), didn’t turn up again, didn’t bother to say they carded the property though this time! Phoned today but no answer. So nearly 3 weeks on I have no rowing machine, no refund and a broken one taking up space in my house. My partner has used these before and providing nothing goes wrong they are ok, but part of selling is being able to correct issues as they arise quickly and efficiently! Just checked my email after writing this and XPD are collecting in a few hours, I mean that's some notice when you work full-time. No mention of delivery of a new machine.

So I paid over a week ago, my account on there website doesn't even show the order, but they took my money. I contacted via email as the chat function is not answered, I revived no reply or update, will have to cancel at the bank and find a firm that actually send the product you buy and responses to customers gives receipts etc..

IF POWERHOUSE CARRY ON LIKE THIS THEY WONT HAVE ANY CUSTOMERS LEFT. This would be my 3rd order. And last . Apparently they they put a item up for sale with a 2 week order 4 weeks still nothing. After re checking the item advert it was changed to 12 weeks obviously a illegal selling tactics I bet trading standards would like this. You've just lost a customer. Last 2 orders were dumped outside my house with no notification customer service don't answer emails or phone calls after a couple of days phoning finally got through cancelled my order lucky escape.👋👋 I purchased this for a surprise for my disabled grandson big let down why not tell the truth you don't have stock and your delivery service sucks

Even when u call them - it’s like speaking to a robot - and the answer is always No, No, No we don’t do that, No we haven’t got that, No and more No, I’m not sure who answers but I’ve called two to three times now to spend at least 1k on a treadmill but it’s awful if you ask them anything, and the man answering the 0141 number sounds half asleep I’ll take my business elsewhere, it’s put me off, terrible customer service - whoever owns this company needs to start again with his/her staff

I have ordered a Cross trainer which is faulty and won't work i have been emailing since 22/9/21 and just get a standard email back saying someone will get back to me in 3 days. I've called today and have been told an engineer will call me within 2 days. if that doesn't happen I'm taking legal action to recover the cost. I had hoped they would be better than this

I ordered a squat stand and barbels over a month ago. Stand and bar arrived very quickly and I still haven't got the weights....apparently they were damaged in transit, hard to do given they are metal. Re-delivery got lost at DPD....still no luck and I am not getting anywhere!

Over many years I have spent thousands on equipment from Powerhouse fitness, but when my rowing machine broke they were, and still are appalling to deal with. The machine broke in December 2020 and still is.....I have sent countless emails and nothing has been resolved. They don't respond to emails, provide misinformation and send you, and charge you, for incorrect replacement parts. Ihave just thrown the machine away as I have given up hope. I will never buy another product from this company despite being the only compnay I have used to buy equipment from in the last 7 years. An absolute disgrace.

Always in the past had a good experience with these guys! but last year I purchased a cross trainer for £1000 and now 7-8 months its developed a fault and they refused to get back in touch when reported now after many calls and emails I have to wait 6 months for a repair under warranty what a joke!!!!! if it hadn't happened to me I would think its a joke!!!! so now I am sat with a £1000 worth of faulty equipment but I have to wait 6 months for a repair mind I have had no calls from the engineer so 6 months down the line could be a completely different issue to the one reported. Joke avoid this company I will in future

They don’t even deserve one star! This company have provided the worst customer service ever. Communication is awful, no response to emails, promises of calls back don’t materialise. I purchased a spin bike from them and have had nothing but problems with it, it’s not fit for purpose! First the drinks holder snapped off, then the tension knob stopped working in January of 2021, it took over two months for the company to locate the part, I had to pay for it and the wrong part was sent. In total it took three months to get the tension knob replacement so I had no bike on this time! Finally thrilled to be able to use it again and the right pedal has completely snapped and will require an engineer to fix it as it’s clean snapped off the lever! This bike has never been fit for purpose. Customer service don’t respond. I raised a complaint and they haven’t even dealt with that!

I purchased a bodymax 2 spinning bike. When the resistance is put on or increased the bike makes a horrendous vibrating noise that makes the bike unusable. I have provided customer service with a video demonstrating the problem two weeks ago but have not yet been offered a solution ie a repair, replacement or refund. I have chased 3 times for an update with no reply. No customer service at all. They can sell something but as soon as anything goes wrong this is the worst company to deal with. I would stay clear of them. The bike is still under warranty and frankly as it is now not fit for purpose. Any reputable company would honour this and offer their customer a solution. Shame on Powerhouse Fitness.
