“The roses came on time. They didn't seem to be the best quality. They were further out than I would have expected. I was hoping they'd be more in bud. Some of the outer petals were beginning to turn brown. But the colour of the inner petals was good and the stems were long and sturdy with not too many thorns. They were bought to go on my late wife's grave, which was ok, but I wouldn't have felt very happy if I was giving them as a gift.”
