Generally really good. The sales team and installation team were excellent, but the section in between was poor. Advising me to make changes that, had my dad not been a qualified electrician knowledgeable enough to challenge, would have been unnecessary and costly.

Excellent experience on the day of installation. Very poor pre-installation experience from pod-point. I had to escalate a lack of response to my Mazda dealer, as every possible channel I tried to use to contact Pod Point resulted in zero response (e-mail, phone call) from anyone .

Excellent installation by the experienced engineer who went out of his way to make sure that cables don't ruin the look of the house, thats 5 stars + for him. Communication via emails - had to chase number of times although was told they come back to me on certain days. Didn't like the process at all, its not transparent and clear what needs to happen and you buy homecharger without knowing when it can be installed. After the purchase you need to fill in lentghy technical form with pictures (why not have option for engineer to come out and assess the property for a fee?), after submitting the form and once it assessed you can get charged more (this was in my case) as installation wasn't straight forward. This would be fine but then I would have considered not buying additional options that comes with a charger. Date is also given to you, but that was easy to change.

Prior to the money being taken, Pod Point was very proactive and rang me a few times to ask whether I had made up my mind and explained the process. Once I had paid the money, everything went quiet! I had to ring several times to ask about the progress of my application and to get a date for installation. Anit wasn't as if they were very busy because, during my last phone call, they had a vacant slot the next day! And on the day the engineer came early as he did not have anything else on! After installation, I was informed that I would get an email within a day or two but nothing was forthcoming for a week, so had to ring them again. The person who answered was unclear and quite dismissive, said something about sending one immediately and again nothing happened for 3 days.

The Pre-ordering instructions aren't anywhere near what you have to do once you click on the order form. I've seen less photograph requests at a wedding. The Installation after the stupid form filling was Excellent though

A bit haphazard and some employees didn't seem to know what they were doing, then the first person who attended could not connect it up as he didn't have the correct RCD and he fitted the unit too high on our wall. When I mentioned this to him he said he would adjust it when he came to connect it up, only it was someone else and he wasn't all that pleased to be given this extra job so it ended up not level on the wall!

The process to arrange my installation was poor. The individual who was initially dealing with it left Podpoint and my installation was left un-progressed thereafter. This resulted in a major delay in arranging installation; and I had my EV over a month before my charging point was finally installed. Thankfully though, once the engineer came out to make the assessment, an installation date was set soon after. I cannot fault the engineer at all. He was a thorough, tidy and professional worker and have no complaints about the service provided in terms of the actual installation.

I did ask for the cable run to be discrete so disappointed to see exposed cabling which I think looks untidy. I would be happier if PodPoint used trunking to hide and protect exposed cables. I had an impression that the installer was in a hurry.

So pretty quick and efficient turn around from initial order - engineer arrived within the allotted timeframe and did a pretty reasonable job of the install that was just within the 15 meters but...... Totally unable to get the app to recognize the unit and no response at all from their technical support team - I had been warned in advance that their support wasn't very quick but assumed as that was from a rival company that it was just them knocking the completion but now I am wondering if I have wasted £1000 and should have gone elsewhere - a very poor first impression.

The equipment was fitted and is working ok, however the installer complained about the job throughout the entire process. On answering the door, the fitter's first comment was "How am I supposed to get into your fusebox". That's not acceptable.

You could save a lot of time and effort by just telling the customer that you need to connect to the meter block only instead of the performance that I had in changing the fuse board spurs then when the installer came he just bypassed it and installed it to the meter block anyway. I must say though that the installer's description of what he needed to do was better than any communication I had with Podpoint. Overall in the end i am happy with my charger.

Installation was cancelled twice, without notice. The Installation Engineer did a lot of drilling, we are still cleaning up the mess. He didn't even attempt to do this. PodPoint charger is working fine. This company appears to be overloaded with work. Their customer services reviews are awful.

Unit fitted is still not working fitted in the 23rd November fault from when fitted apparently all sorted and was working. So unplugged 2 days later on next use unit went to fault mode on unit. The pod point fitter came back to sort out but after testing everything it was found to be a faulty unit. Still awaiting any form of response as to when this is being sorted.

The installation engineer was very polite, competent and helpful. He explained that we didn't need any app to charge the car using this charger (it just works when you plug it in), but that we could use the car app to control when charging was done (to control costs) and the Pod Point app was really only needed for information purposes. The process of ordering was annoying as costs kept having to be added. Carrying out our own on-site survey was very very stressful, as we lost the first attempt when it was too large to load; there were also decisions to be made during the survey which we didn't really feel qualified to make (about the necessity for the surge protector for example). When Pod Point phoned to arrange the install date, their phone number came up as Penpoint on my mobile phone which meant I initially didn't pick up the call. I then got two different calls from Pod Point giving me different install times, but thankfully things went smoothly on the install date. The key lock seems quite flimsy. The different coloured lights on the charger, some of which flash and draw attention to the charger at night, seem a bit complicated and overdone. Charging the car has thankfully been successful.

Would not recommend them. Purely because of incompetency by salesman. Photos and other necessary details were submitted in June and he continued,to resend same email and did not make necessary checks to proceed. Did nor answer phone

Acceptable service in general but a number of delays and final job is not very tidy. Some of the equipment was not as well described as it could be and we purchased some items that weren’t necessary (albeit they were quickly refunded) and not sure we ended up buying the most appropriate unit.

It turned out all right in the end, but it was a long journey. The initial application was made online at the beginning of July 2022 and the installation was finally completed on 28 October. It is probably much quicker if you have a parking area immediately adjacent to the house. Our garage is 35 meters away, at the bottom of the garden. This required countless photographs before an engineer was commissioned to come and explore the possibilities, and another engineer's visit because the first one left the company before the installation was attempted. In all, it has cost over £2000. It seems to me that the process would be much simpler if the job was classified as either "standard" (i.e. adjacent to the house) or "non-standard", which immediately prompted and engineer's visit.

Process of ordering, paying and organising installation date was great. The actual installation could have been better. The garage was cleaned up afterwards, brick dust left everywhere, which meant I had to spend about 40 mins cleaning up. Move complained about this and still waiting for a reply!

The chap who came to fit the pod and conducted a pre-installation survey was fantastic. However everything else was horrendous. The questions I received back to the installation form were unclear, unhelpful and you needed to have an electrical degree to understand. In hindsight I wish I had used a firm that automatically conducted a site visit first.
