So pleased to hear that your order reached you quickly in Finland. We are sorry however that we can't offer free returns, but as a small company we don't have the manpower or the margins to build this extra cost into our prices. We do try to be as clear and helpful as possible with regards to sizing and fabric descriptions etc to avoid customers having to return items. Best wishes, the PJ Pan team.

Thank you for your review Petra and that's great to hear you're pleased with your new pjs! With regards to the packaging, we do use paper mailing bags which are FSC accredited and therefore only using materials from sustainably managed forestry, but as you noticed our garments do still go in polybags. We are always looking into other options but tissue paper or sending them out unwrapped just isn’t an option for us, as there is too high a risk of the garments getting marked or damaged. We also have to consider how they are sent to us from the factory and how we store them on our shelves - again, for the same reasons neither tissue paper nor unwrapped would be viable. We are however pleased to report that you can recycle the garment bags at your local supermarket. At the time when we ordered them this particular bag wasn't currently recyclable in the UK which is why this is not stated on the bags, but we were advised that they would shortly become recyclable which is now the case. Ideally we would like to be using a fully compostable bag but the issue we have with them is they will start to deteriorate and breakdown after a certain amount of time. That isn’t a problem for larger companies who are shifting huge volumes of stock, but for us this would be an issue as we'd run the risk of the bags breaking down in our warehouse and being wasted which would ultimately be even less environmentally friendly! We are certainly keen to find a more eco alternative, but unfortunately until the packaging world improves the options available to us, we can’t move away from the polybags, as we have to ensure our products remain fully protected. Hopefully something suitable will come along soon. Keeping our fingers crossed! Best wishes, the PJ Pan team.
