“Very high quality, tasty and planet/animal friendly food. I really enjoy eating this standard of food knowing the animals were treated well and the farmer received a living wage in a sustainable business. If everyone only bought food like this the world would be a much nicer place .”

“I often purchase meat from Pipers Farm because it is such good quality. I especially like their burgers and sausages because they contain no preservatives and only natural additives like salt and pepper and maybe some herbs and oats. It is very difficult to find good quality meat without additives like sulphites which I react badly to. Their pork is also delicious and I can thoroughly recommend it.”

“Beef joint for Easter. The meat was absolutely delicious- tender and tasty. Delivery exactly as promised - came on time and beautifully wrapped. The padding has been used by the blue tits for their nests so nothing has been wasted! The joint wasn’t cheap ( £40 for 1.5 kg including delivery) but really worth it and there’s still some left. As an almost non-meat-eater, this beef reminded me how great meat can be!”

Regarding this order, we contacted you on the day of delivery, to advise DPD were expecting delays with your parcel, and as they were unable to resolve the issue, we issued a full refund and provided a complimentary gift card as an apology. “Well since you ask, I'll write here what I wrote at Trustpilot. No delivery of Easter order due, I'm told to DPD. However looking back through the feedback, this has been ongoing for years. Tale after tale of no Christmas/New Year deliveries, no communication, deleted social media attempts at communication. Well I suppose I was lucky. When there was no DPD text at 11.30am I emailed Piper's Farm. No ansa. I then phoned no ansa. Then, however I did get an email saying my food for Easter Sunday (the next day) would not be coming. I say this might be considered lucky because someone from Pipers farm at least did get back to me so I had time to dash out and get a replacement Easter meal. And the suggested recompense for ruining our Easter? A token for fifty quid off my next shop which is a big assumption -that I ever want to shop with them again! Come on Pipers Farm you need to stop blaming DPD. Yes they're rubbish but you keep on using them, knowing as sure as eggs is eggs you will be letting some customers down somewhere, every single high-day or holiday. Its such a shame because I want to buy sustainably and from nose to tail, but if you won't address issues with your delivery company you are not doing what you say on the tin. Reliable delivery is crucial to your business model and in this respect you are failing. I gave you 2 not 1 star because I wish you better than you are, and hope hope HOPE you will adapt and learn from the evidence. The same thing goes wrong again and again. Please wake up and smell the coffee.”

“I'm afraid that this leg of lamb did not come up to your usual standard. For once I didn't slow cook it, and although it was pink, it was pretty tough and not particularly tasty. Rather sad for an Easter feast with family.”
