“If I could have given no stars I would have. Sent phone off then the usual story "oh there's a fault - revised offer" Which I declined and asked for the phone back. Nothing yet - DO NOT REPLY TO EMAILS - NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT - COMPLETE FRAUDSTERS -DO NOT USE”

“Do not use this site it is a scam. They have had my phone for 5 weeks and i have been trying to contact them with no reply I have reported them to action fraud police please listen and do not use this service”

“I am shocked at the poor service. I sent 3 phones withthe courier 1. First phone - Received and said paying £25 - 8 days later nothing 2. Second phone - Email saying got it, but need me to email my apple ID and password to clear, even though it was wioped prior to sending. Also the request for ID and password to my apple account? Surely fraud? Asked for phone to be returned nothing 3. Third phone - they say not received on account, but i have an email sayiing they have it and again want ID and password In summary it was a mistake to send the phones and I expect I will not get my money back”

“I sent a device last year and after no response to my email regarding payment, I was sent a correspondence saying that I had been sent the payment. I have since contacted my bank and there is no payment pending for my phone which I sold to you. This is beyond a joke. I have already reported you to Trading Standards, but I will now be filing a report with your local police station. Furthermore, I will continue to publish negative reviews about my experience with this company when I’ve done everything promptly on my end as a customer. I will ensure that other people do not fall victim to your fraudulent activities by promising individuals money and then not giving it, or providing ridiculous excuses for not sending the payment. I am prepared to take this much further, not just for the matter of the money that I haven’t received, but for the complete lack of morals. I am sure that I will not receive a response, so if I do not receive a response by the end of the next week, this will be taken much further. It is completely ridiculous that I have to chase payment when it has apparently been sent already. Complete ********!!!!!!!”

“Worst company ever. Sent my iphone xs max in december. Have not received the money. When I emailed them they said it was delivered to the building next door and that they would return the phone. But I've not received anything. Reported to action fruad. SCAM.”

“Sent my phone in the bag and address that Phone convert supplied after a price they offered was accepted by me. After a few weeks I hadn't heard anything so I email them asking where was my money, they emailed back telling me that they haven't received it I replied by telling them that it was tracked I had a date and time when Phone convert actually received it..I was then told that Damon was going to collect it from the delivery company. A few weeks passed not heard a thing so I emailed them asking where was my money! I got a reply telling me that the phone was damaged so they offered my a lower price,the phone was fine nothing wrong with it but I thought any money is better than none,so I accepted this lower offer..they then told me that the money was in the post..time went rolling by but no cheque arrived. I then email them again telling them that I would put my experience on social media on how I was ripped off as well as many other people that was wripped off by this so called company. They offered to pay straight away if I could give them my bank details not on your nelly I thought so I gave them my PayPal address to make the payment didn't really trust them. Anyway this has been going on from October last year up to February 3rd. Still not received a penny from Phoneconvert so I will put as much on social media to tell as many people not to use this RIP off company of my experience.”

“My phone was sold to them 3 weeks ago, they “never received my phone” Hermes was the courier, it’s been confirmed by Hermes that my phone has intact been stolen somewhere, the phone phone offered was £330, phone convert have only offered me £50 as they “never received it”. 2 weeks later still not replying to my emails!! Absolutely disgusting, I have a meeting at the police station today so I will be taking this further!”

“I was quoted a specific amount, however due to a screen replacement whilst I had the phone in my possession they offered a revised price that decreased by £15. Just for a screen!! It is basic knowledge that good customer service is a pretty significant requirement for the success of a business. Apparently replying to emails promptly as they had advertised on their website is too much to ask. They stated on their website that they reply within 3 hours during business hours. It has now been 4 days, which may not sound like much but it is misleading that you quote 3 hours and yet I do not not receive a response regarding payment. Secondly, I do not understand that after accepting the revised price why payment is not given immediately, especially when I have provided the method of payment prior to sending my phone on the basis that I assumed that I would receive a prompt payment. Furthermore, when I have viewed negative reviews regarding lack of payment after receiving the phone, I sent an email about timescales and I do not receive a reply! It’s honestly a joke! I don’t understand how you think you can advertise a prompt and courteous service when it has been anything but. There are several positive reviews left on the website but I don’t believe the authenticity of them, or if they are, you cannot just pick and choose when it comes to customer service. It’s not rocket science to provide all customers with the same type of service as described in the positive reviews. There are also several different methods of contact, including a telephone number, however it’s convenient that a digit is missing. I’m sure I won’t have been the first customer to have mentioned this, but yet this hasn’t been corrected. If I do not receive a reply by the end of next week, I shall report you to Trading Standards as well as filing a report with your local police station. I would not recommend them at all!!”

“They quoted £50 and once they received the iPad they re-quoted £5!!!! They said it had a smashed screen but it was in excellent condition before I sent it. They send you a plastic bag to put it in so no wonder things get damaged. Fuming, such a con!”

“I sent my phone to phone concert in November 2019. Weeks later I was given an offer which was less than half the original price quoted. I was given the option of either agreeing to this reduced rate or having my phone returned to me. I asked for my phone to be returned to me. In January 2020 my phone had still not been returned to me. I have been in email correspondence with Phone Convert for weeks now; first they told me that they have lost my phone and offered me another reduced price. I refused this rate. Finally they agreed to pay me the original price quoted, I have had weeks of excuses saying they have sent the money or will send it the next day but I still have not received my money!! I am disgusted with the service I have received! I also asked for a telephone number so I can’t contact over phone rather than email and have been ignored! Do not use this company!”

“I am owed money. The reviews say it’s quick and easy, but it’s clear they are written by the employees or owners. I have been waiting over two weeks and promised payment two times. I have asked for my phones or the money but I am being ignored. DO NOT USE THEM. IT IS A SCAM”

I will report this to police and citizens advice by end of week. I am so upset. I have reported to Action Fraud and I have the address I sent the phones too, as it is located in Cornwall I will report to Devon/Cornwall police. DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR PHONES. I didn’t want to believe bad reviews but they are legit. I have sent FOUR phones and was quoted 200£ and have not received ANYTHING. UPDATE 17/1: I finally heard from them as I left a bad review. I was quoted 229£ but received an offer for around £70. I was told i would receive payment on 17/1 at end of day.... and since they were taking care of this was asked to remove my review. I have still not received the payment as of 18/1. UPDATE: 20/1: I was contacted after chasing my payment - was told on 19/1 that if I had a paypal they would pay me immediately. I gave them that information-14 hours later. I am still awaiting payment. They’ve asked me to remove this review - once this is sorted out, don’t really want to. I shouldn’t be having to chase the money that they promised me multiple times. THIS IS JOKE. DO NOT USE THEM”
