“ParentShield is an excellent service. I was stunned when I launched a live chat and basically got straight through to who I think is one of the owner/devs. He was helpful, chatty and obviously knew exactly what I needed to know as well as making me laugh. Since there’s no downloadable app yet, I saved a shortcut to my phone and it behaves exactly like an app. It’s amazing for providing just the right amount of discrete control over your kid’s phone. For example I’ve got the basic contract with no included data, but I can apply a bit of data with payg and just switch it on for a bit when she’s heading home from school to make sure it’s going ok. Sim came quickly with a booklet and a sheet of stickers with her new phone number. It’s all really thoughtful and personalised and I’m recommending it to lots of people. Keep up the great work guys!”

“Nothing short of fantastic x the parent app is easy to set up and configure to how you like it for your child. We don’t want any access to mobile data at all so we kept that switched off. We set the time controls to stop the calls and text half an hour before her bedtime (it would block mobile data too if you were allowing it) and set the word alerts so we get notified if those words are used, which is amazing. Having access to the calls and texts if we need to is such a good addition as it’s so worrying letting her have a phone, so knowing we have this if it’s ever needed is great. I’ve called up a few times and all of the staff are so friendly and accommodating, we absolutely recommend them 💯”

“I got a Parent shield SIM for my daughter nearly three years ago and have just upgraded it to add more data as she goes to big school from next year. The team are brilliant and nothing is ever to much trouble. Everything works brilliantly and I have recommensed it to many people.”

Hi Andy, I can see you spoke with Paul on the 18th. You had bought a locked phone on Ebay and we extended the first month so you wouldn't pay anything until you had got the phone unlocked. The SIM definitely does work, but will only work in a working, unlocked, phone. Will left a voicemail this morning. We'll cancel the billing for now and just give us a shout if you get the phone unlocked and still want the SIM.

“Purchased the stage 1 sim for my son, it was very easy to set up, it came the next day. I feel at ease that he is safe with parentshield, no one can contact him except for myself and his dad. I get updates on what he does. Cannot recommed enough. I have told everyone I know about it”

“I feel that this works great for text messages and calls, however feel that the next development would be tracking app and many youngsters now are using apps to communicate rather than text and calls. I like the fact that data can be turned off and that you are able to hear the calls between people also. Overall it is working well, however would like to see more development around app tracking partciularly around snapchat”
