“Extremely disappointed with the customer service at Paragon. I was so excited to receive my order of bedding as my friend had them however, the colour that arrived was not as described and shown on the website (will attach photos if possible). When requesting a full refund they said I was ‘incorrect’ and the order was ‘exactly as described’ and they deducted the postage charge. I see they’ve responded to say I could have changed my item for a different colour, however this was never proposed as an option when I spoke to Simon on the phone several times.”

We sent exactly what you ordered, a bed set in Teal. If you had not been happy with the colour we would gladly have changed it for you as long as the package had not been opened.

“AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could rate this 0 stars. I bought two duvet covers after reading how bamboo is great for hot sleepers. Well it isn’t! I gave one to my parents and kept one to use on my own bed. My partner is a cold sleeper but even he found the cover hot and sweaty. It feels more like polyester than anything else, it’s absolutely horrible. I read a review on Paragon’s own website that said it felt like having a plastic bag on your duvet and I couldn’t agree more. Yes the fabric is soft and initially cool to touch but once you’ve laid there for a bit you realise there is no breathability at all and it feels like being wrapped in cling film. It’s unbearable. I have contacted Paragon on multiple occasions about this and they’ve not replied once. I am so embarrassed that I gave such a dreadful gift to my parents - they detest the cover as much as I do but seeing as the company hasn’t bothered to reply to my emails I can’t afford to buy them a different cover. Awful product and awful service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“I purchased a duvet cover. It is definitely not moisture-wicking and the most uncomfortable cover we had. Both me and my partner found it sweaty, stuffy and simply unusable. A complete waste of money (we have a Simba duvet and slept without a cover before, we had no issues until we put on Paragon Bamboo cover). Upon seeking help with customer service, my problem was not even directly addressed, I received no advice and only been told that I can't return or get a refund due to their terms and conditions. After explaining again that the duvet did not deliver their promises of "moisture-wicking" and "ultimate sleep comfort", I have been told (I cite): "there is no nothing faulty with the duvet" so apparently the non-breathability is not a fault but a property of the duvet cover. I was shocked by the way this has been handled. They undermined my problem completely, only repeating "no returns/refunds" in reply to every e-mail! No real support! I was so excited to discover this company, but now I am left with an unusable product and feel cheated.”

“Product did not feel natural - very silky and synthetic feel to it. Called before returning it - customer services clerk said that this was possible - returned it - then they said that because it had been opened they could not accept it. So, due to them changing their mind, wasted money on the postage. Also, how can you tell if the product is what you wanted without first looking at it. Poor customer service. Unnatural feeling product.”

“Absolutely delighted with my bamboo bed linen - have been researching for a while and more than satisfied I have made the right choice. Sending free samples is a huge benefit as well as quick delivery. Having been a widow for a couple of years I have converted King Size bed into a luxury and easy to care for single with a separately purchased single mattress topper and your beautiful and comfortable products. The bonus of the free towel pack inclusion offer was an absolute joy and I am truly hooked now. Thank you so much for such excellent customer service and fantastic presentation when opening the box. The detail in the lovely bags is very special - well done YOU and I wish you continued success with your business and can assure you I will be promoting for you at every opportunity. THANK YOU”

“I bought a king size fitted sheet and after one wash (as per the instructions) it shrunk. I contacted Nick who was slow to respond and he said that their sheets don't shrink, I had to keep chasing him, but he eventually asked me to return it so he could check it. Eventually he came back to me to say "I cannot explain why the sheet no longer fits as it did the first time you tried it on, apart from the fact that there has possibly been a slight shrinkage when washed" despite this admission he has refused to refund me. I have photo's of before and after which I sent to him clearly showing the shrinkage. The products are poor quality as is the customer service.”

“My rating is both in terms of the product and the customer service received (or not received) from the Company. After buying some coloured linen within 3 days we noticed staining on the pillows - we've never had this before in over 30 years of buying linen. We washed the cases in line with the instructions and the stains remained. We attempted to contact the Company and it took 4 tries by email and 2 calls to get the Sales & Marketing Manager to speak with us and when he did he was extremely rude and abrupt. We were told we should be washing the linens at a higher temperature and using stain remover - if we had known we had to use a stain remover every time we washed them we of course would not have bought the items. And washing them at a higher temperature we felt may shrink them as they are already quite small. We tried to resolve this issue multiple times with the Company, and not to have to leave a review such as this, however they have made things very difficult. Not sure if the product is faulty, but the customer service certainly is. We are now attempting to ask for our money back as we are unhappy with the item but they will not respond. I could not recommend anyone use this Company or their products.”

Having just had staff recover from Covid-19, which caused the temporary closure of the warehouse, we are working hard to ensure that all orders are processed as quickly as possible and that all emails are answered in a timely fashion. Therefore I apologise for the delay in responding to you, however I do not think the responses were rude or abrupt. I am afraid that we cannot accept any responsibility for staining.

Unfortunately you received the wrong pillowcases and I apologise for this. Inevitably mistakes can happen when sending a large amount of orders out every day. We tried many times to contact you on the mobile number you provided but there was no answer and no facility to leave a voice mail. You did call us again and agreed to return the items and we would send the replacements immediately. I am disappointed you felt it necessary to leave negative feedback when we were unable to contact you due to you not answering the calls or having a voice mail facility.

We are sorry that you did not like the feel of the natural bamboo fabric. It does state on the web site that bamboo bedding has a luxurious and silky feel. We did inform you when you called that if the product had been unwrapped, we could not accept a return. You were advised to put your hand inside the packaging to feel it to see if it was what you expected. When the package was returned the goods had clearly been removed from the original packaging and unwrapped. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept bedding that has been removed from the packaging. All of this is explained clearly in our Returns Policy on our web site.

“I bought the bedding set, which is very soft and not as sweaty. Unfortunately the softness means that it has no reaction on the duvet underneath creating an unpleasant billowing and bunching as you move during the night. It tangles too easily and I would not purchase again”

“Wonderful Kingsize duvet cover! The midnight blue is really almost navy, but richer, unlike cotton which tends to look rather dusty in comparison. The bamboo has a beautiful silky sheen - and that's exactly what it feels like. Before my order I had some friendly and helpful phone communication to establish when the colour would be back in stock. It wasn't long, and after ordering it arrived in no time. Another review bemoaned the white zip, but they have now rectified this and ours was navy. The zip is quite soft and pliant and so much less fiddly than other closures. A perfect order!”

“Watch out for the 6 month guarantee. Our bedding came apart after 7 month and they weren’t interested. Bamboo material is very soft and comfortable but it has no shape. It is very absorbent but takes forever to dry. Buyers beware”

“Been using bamboo sheets for years and whilst there are some things I love about these (zippered duvet and colour selection). Man they look awful after 6 months :( I wash on cool and by itself and I always line dry bedding, and they are pilling, have holes, just not what I expected. One of the reasons I love bamboo bedding is the sensory experience and with the pilling that's pretty much ruined it for me,”

“Bedding: I tried bamboo bedding in a desperate bid to relieve night sweats associated with the menopause, it was the best decision I have made - I now have one of each colour bedding sets; I have one little gripe with the duvet covers though - they don’t have the little corner ties to tie the duvet in place, as the covers are silky & so is the bamboo duvet & sometimes you’ll find your duvet ends up crumpled at the bottom of the bed where it’s slipped a little, it’s not a major biggy, just irritating when you’re rushing in a morning to get ready & you have to shake the duvet to straighten it out. Summer Duvet: I invested in a duvet to fill the duvet covers, it is excellent, heavier than I expected, but feels so luxurious & completely envelops you, it’s like getting a giant hug when you get into bed under the duvet, I absolutely love my bamboo duvet - the duvet has little loops on each corner for you to tie it into the corners of duvet covers that have the ties. Towels: I purchased the Claret set of towels (Bath Sheet, Hand Towel & 3 Face Cloths) to take on holiday with me as they are thinner & less bulky to pack into a suitcase - I washed them before use & they dried quickly & washed up lovely 9washed at 30 degrees no fabric conditioner); we were on holiday during Storm Babet so the weather was atrocious but the towels didn’t get smelly or stay damp at all because they do dry very quickly, I’m going to buy some for family members as they’re great. Bath Mat: The same excellent quality as the rest of their products that I have tried thus far - again it’s thinner & less bulky than regular bath mats, so idea for packing in a suitcase as holiday site rarely provide bath mats in their accommodation, I’ve not used it because it’s now packed ready for my next holiday (December). Bathrobe: Free gift for spending over a specific amount in a single purchase - it’s lovely & soft, but sadly I’m a large lady & the XL didn’t go round me, but I’m keeping it because I am menopausal & I’ll just wear it over my bamboo night clothes for decency reasons (I don’t need it to keep me warm as I’m perpetually roasting hot), but I’m working on getting thinner, so hopefully one day it’ll be able to tie round me & I’ll stop sweating & feel the chill once again. Hair Turbans: I was literally about to climb in the shower when the postie turned up with my bumper order from Paragon, so once I unpacked everything I decided to try the hair turban on my short hair & it was a game changer, because as a menopausal woman I find getting out of the shower is a time my body temperature rockets & having short hair the sweat drips off it when I first get out of the shower, so wrapping the turban round my head before wrapping the towel round my body was great - it actually helped me in the process of cooling down & getting dried & dressed. Customer Service: I ordered some items whilst I was on holiday, as they were on the offers & I didn’t want to miss them, so I contacted customer services to enquire whether I could put a delay on dispatch, so that I would be back from holiday & I spoke to a lovely gentleman who said once I confirmed the order he would look out for it & make a not to the warehouse not to dispatch until a specific date - as promised I got home from holiday on the 23rd & my items were delivered on the 25th, having ordered them on the 19th, so I am extremely happy!”

“Delivery as stated and on time. Bedset came in lovely drawstring bag, bamboo. I love the colour(white, undyed). The feel is so soft, so warm but cool too. I would definetly buy another bed set, and will try the towels next. Sustainability, dyes and quality mean alot to me... These total fit all requirements”
