“I am obsessed with the cover designs. I had been wanting the pink and red checkerboard planner for a while and decided to get it. There are some tiny green spot on mine on the front that look like something with wet ink must have been layered on, and the paper ghosts pretty bad if you use ink. Overall the journal is cute, but for the price I was expecting better. I definitely recommend only using pencil on these fragile pages.”

“I purchased the leader planner and it’s beautiful but for the price I paid I would of liked to received a tracking number. For me, the layout could have been organized better. The monthly layout and goals are not together with the weekly layout by month, which annoyingly makes a lot of page turning and looking. The pages are see through, all printed text can been seen on the back and if your using a dark pen like a mid liner or sharpie S gel you will see it.”

“2 of these stars are only because their customer service was fast, super polite, and did somewhat rectify the situation. But basically everything printed on their front covers will always end up closer to the left edge. It’s not really noticeable when artwork/text is supposed to be on the left or right edges. But it’s very noticeable for anything that is supposed to be centered. I attached a marked photo of the planner I received. And apparently this is just their common practice! By their own admission the crease in the spine causes everything to be pulled slightly closer to the spine. And they are not accounting for this either in their own printing department or in the customization tool that they offer on the website. Basically, Papier let’s us think everything is going to be perfectly centered on the finished product, when that apparently isn’t the case at all.”

“Product came really quickly and overall satisfied. However, for the price it is definitely of cheaper quality. If you look closely the print is a bit blurry and the type of paper they used is also the type of cheap cardstock that smudges ink pens. My previous calendar that I bought off a different brand for the same price was made of nice grain paper (like the ones you get in wedding invitations) and the print quality was detailed. Was expecting the same from Papier for the price. Nevertheless we do love the customisation service that Papier offers.”

“I bought this pen (originally £9.99) with a discount code so got it for v. cheap. Nonetheless, at that price, for a rollerball, I'd expect a pen that works well. And indeed, initially, it did. The pen has a lovely, hefty weight to it and is beautiful to look at. My only complaint at this stage was that, whilst the body and end of the pen is pentagonal, the cap is round, meaning it cannot be posted (put on the back when writing) which was disappointing and not what I'd expect from such a pen and company. However, it seemed to write well otherwise. However, after a day, the pen started skipping and was very scratchy and unpleasant to write with. No matter what I did, the problem persisted. It was only when I tried it on a thick piece of paper that it (momentarily at least) started writing normally again. I would expect this from a fountain pen but from a rollerball this is unacceptable.”

“The planner is just okay. For a $26 planner plus shipping, my expectations were high. The pros - the customization came out perfect and the cover/paper quality feels good. The cons - inside front cover came with weird stains (pictured) and there was black ink on the sides of the pages (pictured). I also saw the previews of the layout and it’s my own fault for not looking further into it. I would have preferred to have the each monthly view correspond to the daily view with that month’s goals/important dates, ect. For example, have January monthly view first, followed by January goal/important date lists, then by the January daily view. To me that makes more sense then having them all grouped together. Just some things to consider before buying this planner.”

“Received as a gift and initially was pleased with how attractive the diary was. Good quality and I can imagine if you plan to use the diary as a journal you would be very happy. However as a diary I find this sadly lacking! The diary contains none of the information you’d expect to see in a diary or even include bank holidays. I’ve looked at the website and see that the description does mention this, but as this was a gift, my husband wouldn’t have thought to check this. Who expects a diary with no date info? Week per view is good, but the diary entries don’t start until half way through the book! Lots of summaries! Also the hard cover makes writing in the diary difficult. This might soften up with use but I just find it very irritating! Sorry but won’t be purchasing again”

“I'm a little upset with the design of the planner I chose. I purchased the Rise and Shine, not sure if all planners are like this, but the way the months/different sections are organized is so disappointing. I prefer to have my months lined up all together with the monthly calendar view, to do lists/goals, and then the weekly view. But instead, this planner does the calendar view by each month and then the to dos/goals by each month and so on, which I find useless as you now would have to flip back through multiple sections just to find the right month (which I now have bookmarked which just takes away from the easiness of planning and writing stuff out.”

We originally developed our 2021 diaries in a different format due to consistent customer feedback on our 2020 diaries, asking for a clearer ‘month end’ setup in 2021 whereby months not finishing on a Sunday have the rest of the week on either side of the lists page, to allow for easier planning and simpler continuation month on month. Previously, our customers found that events in the second half of a week which fell over the end of the month were getting lost on later pages (after the list page), hence us making this change. The new setup gives you the option to plan your events and days either on the end of month week, or start of month week depending on your preference, and you can simply cross off whichever set you prefer not to use. However, following further feedback from customers regarding issues with this new format, we have reverted back to our original setup for our 2022 diaries. “This is specifically for the ACADEMIC planner. Overall, this planner is just fine. I really wanted a planner that would be fountain paper friendly and this was okay with some inks but not most. However, I am not including that in my rating - just want people to know. My major complaints are that the monthly breakdowns are not placed in between the changing months and that the weekly spread is too narrow. The monthly breakdowns are housed at the front of the planner. I find this layout very inconvenient. The weekly layout is just way too narrow for me, as is the 'to do list'. I can hardly write anything in that small space. Just not the right layout for me personally.”

“So here’s the thing. My planner is beautiful it’s one of my favorite colors has my initials and it has bees and I love them too. I paid $73 for this planner and I couldn’t get tracking for it? Luckily I had something else ship out from the same location at the same time that included tracking so I was able to guess around what time I would receive it. This is the second time I’ve ordered from this company and I’m just not thrilled with shipping. The product is always amazing but I should be able to track my product if I’m paying $20 shipping for one item. Last time I ordered it within the “get it before Christmas window” and it showed up well after Christmas.”

“The product is usually great but the dispatch time is terrible - you really cannot trust the expected delivery date you are quoted on the website. If you want to order make sure it is well in advance of when you need it - I have been let down at Christmas and for a birthday..”

“I love the designs, sizes, & option to personalize. I got the planner, & was prepared for it to take a while to get to me, which it did. What I really don't love about it is the fact that the pages for the end/beginning of the month repeat. So, if you're looking at the last days of August/September, you'll see the spread from August 30, a Monday, through September 5th, a Sunday. The next page is the notes page for Sept., & the one facing that is the goals, to-do, wish list, etc. And then I turn the page, & I have the layout for August/Sept once again. It's a pretty careless oversight & you would not think it's as annoying as it is, but for stationary fanatics, it's like an itch you can't scratch. It happens for every month that doesn't end on a Sunday so this year, it's happened nine times. So, that's 18 extra pages that are useless. I likely won't get another planner here if that's standard.”

“I am a junior college student that works and studies FULL TIME, so an agenda is essential in keeping me organized and I take them everywhere I go. I was pretty excited for my academic planner and don't get me wrong... The agenda is beautiful and the size is perfect to travel around with. But they really add in unnecessary pages, like the cooking and finances. I wish there was an option to include these sections. Instead I could replace them with notes or blank pages. And the weekly overview section is too small to write in detailed notes or assignments due that day which was the biggest downside. There is just no room to write in anything more than like 3 words a line. It's very cute but that's all it really is. They need to provide bigger sizes.”

“I purchased the academic planner in August of 2021. The product arrived sooner than the estimated delivery. I was disappointed that the layout had all of the monthly spreads first and the weekly spreads after, instead of having the months in-between. I use fountain pens on a daily basis and was concerned the paper wouldn't work with the majority of the ink I use - which is what happened. I tested 20 inks and only 6 did not bleed through and/or feather. There was some ghosting with every ink tested. However, the planner is not advertised as "fountain pen friendly" and it certainly is not! My only other issue is that the 'top to-do' section is very, very narrow and it's hard to fit a task on the line. I wish the weekly mood was put next to the word 'SCHEDULE' so you could rate daily instead of weekly - that feels more useful to me. I like the monthly view in the bottom corner and how the current week is highlighted with a box around it. I also like the bottom portion that says 'Today's Notes'. The schedule section is probably more useful for someone who is un undergrad What I wanted: A fountain pen friendly academic planner for use with my graduate program and my full time job. PROS: Size, decent paper quality, started in August, customizable with my name, ribbon bookmark, weekly spread has room for daily misc. notes CONS: Not fountain pen friendly (tested 20 inks, about 6 did not feather or bleed, all inks ghosted), some level of ghosting with all pens (even just gel pens), monthly spread is all at the beginning instead of between the weeks as the year progresses Overall, I'm glad I made the purchased because I've wanted to try a Papier planner for a long time. However, I likely would not purchase another planner.”

“The materials was good and also the payouts but I wish I can change the title also not just the date, and I also I wish I can white whatever messages or dedication on one whole page if we wish too, not just a short captions. That’s the only thing I don’t like with Papier.”

“I love my papier planner I purchased, and decided to purchase another planner and bullet journal. You get what you pay for and the quality is good, and they have decent promotions so you don't always have to pay full price! However, I am unimpressed with the shipping options. There is no free shipping, and the cheapest option is economy untracked. It should cost papier no additional fee to get the tracking number for the customer when they ship out the product. It seems to me to be just a little sneaky way to try and get more $ out of the customer-- when the customer is already paying shipping...”

“Ordered some photos to be mounted in some hanging picture frame. It’s a shame for the price they don’t use glass in the frame. The wrong colour was sent for one of the frames but this was resolved very quickly by customer service and a new frame issued.”
