“DO NOT USE IT- I WISH I READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE SPENDING £160- complaint made to Trading Standards! Placed an order on 18 Oct, and only used the company as promised next-day delivery! A week later, no order or no email response. You need to chase them for any kind of update just to get the same excuse I can has been used for years. Every time I called, they couldn't find any details, but payments were processed immediately, and an email was sent with the order number. This company must be a SCAM. Do yourself a favour and avoid.”

“Delivery arrived on time however it had been flimsily packaged and the outer box was badly bashed. The bag containing the tape, marker pen, tissue, and bubble wrap had fallen out and luckily the driver noticed in his van. On opening the box, 10 boxes were missing. I paid £61 for the deluxe 2-3 bed house moving pack and received just 20 tiny and medium sized boxes. Barely enough to pack a single room. Calls to the company have gone unanswered, as has my support ticket. In addition, the marker pen supplied is cheap and not fit for purpose - it's yellow/orange so you can't see it on the boxes. The bubble wrap was just a messy bundle rather than a roll. This isn't the "deluxe" product id expected and I'm shocked at the customer service. The stress it has caused - and expense - before my move is too much! I won't ever order from here again or recommend them.”

“Awful Customer service ! I had buy from them years ago when i used to live at a diff address and they delivered the boxes to the same address and Refused to redeliver them to the new one if me offering To pay a bit more . They didnt even make an effort .”

“Utterly useless and untrustworthy. Ordered Linen boxes and a Golf Club box, both of which arrived bent and unusable. Emailed the company with photos. They first denied being able to see any damage (seriously, the Golf Box was a WRECK!). Then they just ignored the follow up emails. They also moderate the reviews on their own site to weed out the negative ones. 53% on here give them one star and I wish I'd known that before I wasted my money on them. Avoid at all costs!”

“AVOID. My delivery did not turn up. I phoned up and the woman said she would issue out another next day delivery. Again, it didn't show up. I'm still awaiting a refund, but I can't see this happening. I'm now having to ditch stuff I wanted to move with me because I cannot find the right sized boxes I needed. Had I had known they would never show I would have had the time to get boxes elsewhere. Really angry and it has made my move much more stressful. To the owners of this business: DO NOT HAVE A MOVING BOXES BUSINESS IF YOU CANNOT BE RELIABLE. Moving is stressful enough as it is.”

“Ordered packing boxes for premium next day delivery 7-12 did not arrive so called hadn’t even been despatched asked for refund was told ALL of the refund staff were on holiday so couldn’t look at it for a week DO NOT order from these people”

“First delivery I apparently refused to accept at the door. I wasn’t there, and I’d left instructions where to put the boxes. They didn’t contact me for redelivery or refund. They redelivered after I had repeated the instructions and left the box outside, not in the safe, dry place I’d requested. Fortunately it was not raining. Totally rubbish service and I will not use them ever again.”

“Ordered loads of boxes, bubble wrap etc for next day delivery. Only 2 wardrobe boxes turned up WITHOUT RAILS!! Phoned, got an apology but they couldn't guarantee timing of next delivery so had to cancel. No confirmation received despite promise, await with bated breath to see if I get refund, also I confirmed this shambles in email, no response!”

You reviewed Packingboxes Add photo Benjamin Lewis 2 reviews 1 star: Bad Just now WORST "FAKE" COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH . AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!! Makes me fuming that I even have to give them 1 star !! Originally ordered a 160L storage tub on 21st April and paid £7 !! for "express" delivery . 2 weeks later it still hadn't arrived !! Tried calling ... customer service do not EVER pick up their phone !! So had to call sales . They told us it had been delivered and signed for on 29th April .. clearly not as i wouldn't be calling otherwise !! Told us another box would be sent out and be with us in 48 hours ... another 2 weeks later ..STILL NOTHING !! Was told again another box would be sent out and be with us next day and our £7 delivery fee would be refunded ... ANOTHER 4 DAYS LATER AND STILL NOTHING !! No box .. no refund !!! AT THIS POINT I WANT TO KILL SOMEONE !! Called again and said u know what just give me my money back ... oh but it has to go through accounts first in a different building so I STILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THAT !! AND apparently the 2nd box didnt even exist and someone just lied about sending it !! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY / FAKE COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH !!! DISGRACEFUL . AM GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS ABOUT THEM !!!”

“Absolute rubbish, don’t use this company, they promise complete box packages but don’t deliver. Three times I rang to complain that the order wasn’t complete, three times it was wrong, they are incompetent and unprofessional, I wouldn’t give them 1 star but it doesn’t give to option to give zero!,”

“I ordered 2 simple things; 42 in TV box and 10 m bubble wrap and paid £7.95 for next day express delivery as it was urgent. However, it was hugely disappointing in all the aspects for a number of reasons. Firstly, the bubble wrap was not delivered although delivery note mentioned that and secondly an out-of-proportion TV box was sent; a box that was more than 160 cm in length diagonally. Of course, the box that big cannot be used as there would be too much room around the TV box and for exactly the same reasons, we did not order 52 in TV box but a 42 in TV box on the website. I have contacted their customer service desk a number of times and every time I am told, "I've transferred your details to the Accounts departments and somebody will contact you or you will receive an email today confirming the refund". I am wondering when that day will come. So far, I have called them 7 times and emailed them 4 times and all that I have received are "hollow promises" and a credit notes of £2.00 and £6.70 Ticket No. PB01528992 If any responsible and accountable official of this company is reading my comments then I would request him/her to address the issue immediately. My next course of action will be to share my experience about this company at Trust Pilot and other review websites. I will also raise a dispute with my credit card company AMEX. Following this, I will complaint to the consumer ombudsmen and explore other possible avenues so that other innocent people do not feel ripped off like me. Note: 1. I might update the review later depending on how my inconvenience is addressed by the company. 2. I have tried twice to post my review on their website but not sure why it still does not appear. It makes me wonder if they pick and chose which reviews appear on their website.”

“AVOID. Would not use this company again. They do not deliver what you order. The items ordered were time sensitive given a house move. I called them (spent nearly an hour waiting) and I was told to send them an email. I sent them an email with all of the evidence required, and the situation was still not rectified although they told me it would be. They refuse to refund my money. Poor company. Avoid.”

“My initial contact was via the internet, the sums did not add up correctly with the discount. I called the company they were very helpful in taking my order over the phone. Unfortuntly when the order arrived one of the blankets and packing tapes had gone missing, also, the was only a small piece of bubble wrap in the box rather than a roll. The box appeared to have been opened. The company did not hesitate with replacing the missing items immediately. The packing blankets are of excellent quality.”

“I paid for next day delivery and it took 5 working days to arrive. No refund given to me as yet. Secondly I received my order in a very bad state. No response from Packing Boxes about how they will resolve/compensate me for this.”
