It was an awful service; they charged me seven times for the same ticket. I couldn't get that resolved for a long time. Now I am left with one charge my bank needs to dispute with them as I never received any ticket from them. The system generated seven different sums, none of which were actual ticket prices. They didn't want to admit that they had a glitch on the website. Terrible, and they admitted that they do charge from £ 60 to £100 per ticket their fees, so go to Ryanair or Wizzair or British Airways and buy through them cheaper ticket. Also, their CEO does not respond to emails. Just awful customer care.

Wish I could give 0/10. Such an horrible experience with this shambolic organisation. Really upsetting and frustrating. In August 2023 we booked return flights Manchester to Fort Lauderdale via Atlanta for £2,500. On 30th September Opodo notified us of “Significant Changes”. We telephoned the 0207 number given and eventually were informed that the return Delta flight from Fort Lauderdale had changed so we couldn’t make our connection to Manchester. They couldn’t find an earlier flight even though there were two on the Delta Website. Opodo operatives advised us to cancel the booking which we did. In October they informed us we were eligible for a full refund but after weeks turned into months of chasing with phone calls and emails Opodo refunded us £907! They have told us that they have “No additional funds” to refund the outstanding £1,500! We are both in our 70s and can’t afford to lose this much money especially when THEY advised us to cancel because they couldn’t find alternative flights. Wish I’d read the reviews. They responded to my previous review promising that it would be resolved soon - I have since heard nothing! I’m expecting an email to tell me to wait 30 days again. It’s only been 4 months after all. Total scam! I have been a prime member for over a year paying over 55€ for this service! But when I book a ticket with the prime discount I get charged full amount 100€ extra and “supposedly” my prime membership was not activated. Then I book another airline ticket which gets cancelled by the airline and after endless phone calls and waiting on hold I am still waiting for my refund! Over 1500€ worth!!!! When you get them on the phone they say ok it will be done then they send you an email saying it needs to be dealt by the airline, and when you can the airline they say you booked through Opodo only they manage your booking. Opodo is playing a dirty game of scaming travellers. Still waiting for my refund!!! never use them. Surtout n’utilisez pas Opodo!!! Grands charlatans et arnaqueurs! Je suis membre Prime et ça fait deux voyages qu’on m’arnaque! Premier voyage on me taxe 100€ en plus sur le prix du billet et j’attends toujours qu’on “rectifie” cette erreur! Et 2e voyage mes vols sont annulés par la compagnie et Opodo après 2 appels à poireauter 2h en ligne toujours pas de remboursement, on te raccroche au nez, on t’envoie des sites et réclamations a remplir pour demande de remboursement alors que je suis Prime et c’est inclus dans mes avantages de me faire rembourser si j’annule et la en plus c’est une annulation de la compagnie!!! Presque 2000€ en billets d’avions qu’on me vole! J’attends toujours mon remboursement! Arnaque totale!!!

They were not in direct contact with the flights company they pretended they were. They bought my tickets from another agency then, when a problem occurred, they assumed no responsibility for my purchase. They lured me with a so called prime membership that I couldn't unsubscribe later. I addressed them by phone and at their call center personnel was unprepared to solve my problem. They asked me all sort of nonsense questions so I finally gave up. I had to cancel my card in order not to lose money any more.

The booking ticket for the airline company was not working, I talked with the airline company and no ticket on my name appeared in the system. Also I tried to change the timing of the flight, and even if Opodo said that they will answer in 48h, they never did. It is very hard to contact them via chat or email. (They don't answer to the emails, they don't even read them, and the agents are just useless. They have standard responses and they don't do anything to help you)

Appalling Experience with Opodo – Endless Waiting and Poor Communication I am utterly disgusted with the abysmal service provided by Opodo. Since September, I have been waiting for a refund without any proactive communication from their end. It is infuriating that I am consistently the one reaching out for updates, and each time I do, I am met with the same excuse that they are waiting for the airline to respond. The sheer lack of effort on Opodo's part to chase the airline for my refund is mind-boggling. It appears that they are content with sitting on their hands, leaving me in the dark and frustrated. I expected a travel company to take responsibility and actively pursue resolution, but Opodo has fallen far short of that standard. This experience has been a complete letdown, and I will not tolerate such negligence. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of Opodo. Their customer service is a sham, and I would strongly advise against using their services.

Why can't we give Zero stars. I booked a flight to China with them for around 800 Euros. I had to change it and this was done online pretty smoothly. Then I had to change again and the problems started .. First of all if you dont subscribe to Prime you have to deal with the stupid computer help which does not understand that you cannot change your flight online ... After fighting with it I finally was able to get someone to help ... or try. I gave the dates which I wanted to change to .. and then I got told I would receive a call back ... What travel agent is not able to help on the spot ??? A day later I received a call at 9 PM ... Finally I got another call and I agreed to a change . Opodo Sent me a link and none of my debit cards worked ( i tried 6 of them ! ). It is very strange since I could make all kinds of payments with them. A day before the flight I tried to contact Opodo again .. and I got the answer : you need to contact the airline. I contacted Lufthansa ... and they told me : Only opodo can change the flights. So I contacted Opodo again ... And they told me : sorry we cannot change within 25 hours .. Please write to customer complaint. I did .. And a week later I got the answer .. Sorry but we did all we could. So basically they pocketed my 770 Euros and told me to get stuffed. So I will put it simply : DO NOT USE OPODO. This company is rubbish. They are scammers. They dont care about customers ... They are excellent for lip service .. It is probably computer generated ...

OPLICHTERIJ BIJ OPODO!!! Ongevraagd een lidmaatschap afgesloten bij Opodo Prime. Ik heb nog nooit van Opodo gehoord en zeker geen abonnement afgesloten. Toch is er al twee jaar op een rij €64,99 afgeschreven van mijn rekening. Ik heb per mail en telefonisch geprobeerd contact op te nemen, niets is mogelijk. Bij alle contact manieren vragen ze om een boekingsnummer, anders krijg je geen contact. Ik heb geen boekingsnummer dus kan onmogelijk het abonnement opzeggen. Hierom heb ik mijn creditcard moeten vervangen. Belachelijk, nooit iets boeken bij Opodo. Je zit ongevraagd ergens aan vast en er is geen contact te krijgen met de klantenservice.

Having a recurring annual charge hidden in the terms and conditions feels like a scam. Trying to cancel my inadvertent membership of Opodo Prime took four months, despite their assurances of how easy it is. I urge you to avoid them. It may be legal, but it's dishonest.

Absolute scammers booked a flight via opodo unknown that I had ticked for an ‘opodo prime free trial’ I have rang around 3 times to cancel- the first time I was persuaded to stay and pay a promotional yearly fee which I did, for a month they consistently keep attempting to withdraw £69.99 from my bank account, even though I have rang back since and cancelled the account- I Recieved an email to confirm cancellation but they keep trying to take the £69.99. Dont book with opodo. Theyvare criminals. They emailed me to say that my flight had been cancelled. I contacted the airline who told me that it hadnt. I took the flight and had no problems. Their plan is to pressure you into cancelling your booking with them and apply for a refund which you will have to fight for. Some people never recieve it. If this happens tonyou then check with the airline. Better still, dont use opodo and just book direct with the airline, it will save you money and a headache

The most unhelpful bunch of scammers. Booked a car. Called them regarding my deposit I had to pay 1500 euro and didn't receive it yet. Got zero satisfaction after calling them My advise is stay clear of them

NEVER GO WITH THEM!!! Even if you are DESPERATE! Lie about prices, instantly inflate prices, impossible to speak to a representative without at least a 20 minute wait. NO REFUNDS even if they promise these. Please AVOID at ALL COSTS !!!

A scam. Terrible service. I paid for a rental car and the rental company was located miles from the airport, their service was a shambles at best, but seemed more like a scam. I paid Opodo for a rental car I never got They didn’t care

SCAM! FRAUD! I booked a hotel in Rome using Opodo - when we arrived at the address we discovered that the hotel had been closed and no longer exists. However, Opodo let us book and pay for the hotel for several nights. We were left with no place to stay overnight and with financial damage. The service hotline (even for us Prime members!!) did not respond to our concern! We were kept connected for several hours and left helplessly there, with no support or booking of a new hotel, and we never got a refund. There was simply no response to several subsequent inquiries. Fraud, terrible customer service and an absolute rip off. NEVER AGAIN!

Terrible,never more. Our flight was cancelled,no refund,we have been trying for 5 months to get our money back,gave it up. Be carefull,never book via Opodo! Renata
