“My payment faled on the 28th July which I admit is my error as must have entered new debit card details wrongly. I was only notified about this on the 10th August by email and by phone, why did it ake so long to contact me, this my credit scoring that you are effecting by this delay in contacting me and quite frankly very ppor customer service.”

“I paid my loan off in full and through no fault of my own on stride messed up a payment weeks ago and countless phone calls with promises to resolve it they just took the money”

“On Stride were advised that I was being treated for breast cancer and unable to work for over a year. I was on ESA (incapacity benefit) of £76 a week. They accepted a token payment of £1 a month however, they refused to halt interest. As a result, I now owe £1,300 more than when I first became ill. I have five other creditors who all froze my interest, On Stride are the ONLY company who would not do this. So borrower beware!!!”

“Your Apr is too high, people like me are just getting ripped off a day the big bank As usual make a fortune. Banks do the get punished they get bailed out”

“I applied, got email saying loan was approved and never received funds, after several emails back and forth got an email saying my loan was declined - shambolic service”

“I spent 4 days desperately trying to get in contact via email for some help after some unexpected costs meant my monthly payment could have been a problem this month. Whilst previously other emails I've sent about other matter have always been answered very swiftly,in this case 5 emails,sent over 4 days were totally ignored. Very very disappointing :(”

“To be fair I've had 2 loans well kind off with these. The first loan no problems very easy to do up load everything and wait for emails. The second loan done the same waited 2 days got the confirmation email to say the funds were on the way to my account and 5 days later still haven't had the funds in my account. After numerous phone calls and emails to the customer service department all I get told it's it's an issue they're end and they are trying to deal with it. Still none the wiser what's going on its been very very stressful especially as I paid some debts of when I got the confirmation email, but have never had the funds”

“I had a problem with my account which meant no standing orders or direct debits went out. So I called to make a payment only to be told that no it's fine the payments gone through. I then receive an email saying that only £30 was taken? What the hell is going on?”

“DO NOT REPAY EARLY IN ANTICIPATION OF ANOTHER LOAN!! Having spoken to two support staff within on stride I was advised that should I repay loan and my circumstances haven't changed that I would be able so apply for another but little did they mention was that it would be rejected even though this had been the only loan I had with no credit report additions or changes apart from this one from on stride. Now I'm left with a huge problem just before Christmas. THANKS ONSTRIDE, I WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THE USE OF YOURSELVES AGAIN.”

“Easy to get hold off when they are setting up the contract. Never respond once you are in contract with them. Disgusting interest rates for customers that are limited for choice. I can not understand how it is legal for this company to trade.”

“I am not happy because even though I paid my loan on time every time and even paid off the loan early - I was refuse a second loan. My curcumastances are the same - and feel that my good payemnt history means nothing”
