“Lovely table, the finish around the bottom is not perfect and the edge on the metal under the table is quite sharp so you have to be careful when sitting down. The chairs are very comfortable. The delivery was very good. Notified me with times etc as the men were very friendly and helpful.”

“Just what we were looking for our kitchen. It’s mainly just the two of us but with the small fold out leafs out can comfortably seat 4. Well made and easily put together.”

“Table just the right size and that chairs are comfortable and match th height of the table very well. Colour good. It took us some time to put the first chair together and it would have been helpful if the instructions were better. Otherwise, very happy with the order. Thank yo.”

“The quality of the furniture was excellent and a good deal cheaper than competitors. Appears to be solidly made. I had a problem with the carriers not delivering the full order on the appointed day (a week late) but Oak Furniture Superstore refunded the carriage cost, so I was happy with the outcome.”

“Normandy 180cm extending table and 8 cream leather chairs. Quality excellent. Table legs were damaged but replacement organised with no problems. Was surprised by the 7 boxes. Didn’t expect flat pack at that price. My son who is very practical put it together for me. He said the chairs were quite tricky. It took him about 4hours. Looks really lovely, excellent quality and am really pleased with it. Sideboard arriving in 11 weeks”

“The dining table & chairs we ordered are a gorgeous piece of furniture that fits in our family home perfectly. However it took the delivery company three separate days to deliver the item (first the chairs, then the table legs & lastly the table). Subsequently this has unfortunately put us off of ordered from Oak Furniture Superstore again, even though we are desperate for more furniture to finish our new home.”

“The product themselves are amazingly nice, sturdy and very good quality, easy to assemble and basically all you need. Actually this is our 2nd purchase for a table and chairs for our home. The only reason the rating is 3 and not 5 is due to the poor choice for delivery company. Our package has been delivered by Panther, which is by far one of the worst delivery companies in the UK. The whole delivery process has been stressful, and required me making quite a few calls to find out what went wrong and where is my package. Because we had the 2nd to last delivery of the day and it got quite late without any updates, I was expecting the delivery to be cancelled without any notice, but fortunately for us it came...about 4 hours late. As a customer I'd like to have a choice to go for a better delivery company, even at an extra cost, rather than going thorough the same stress again.”

“We bought the kitchen furniture set because our friends had the same set, when it came the table top finish was bad on the underside it had not been rubbed down and was not painted white as our friends set had been finished, otherwise we liked it.”

“The table was broken had to wait for another one.one of the chairs had a chip on the top of the chair there was screw missing from both boxes and one had a Alan key missing”

“Delivery was quick but i dont like the fact once opened it says you cant return the goods or if you do the returns cost is astranomical. When put together the table is nice and solid and its a good size when opened. The chairs look nice as well. Although I struggled to put the chairs up with the allen key provided as all threads in the fittings that the bolts go into were really tight and needed cleaning out first. Two of the chairs the legs dont sit properly on the floor and rock but oddly then dont rock when you sit on them. Also disappointed that the hinges are on show when the table is extended this isnt shown in the advert and the hinges are normally hidden on quality furniture”

“2 weeks after I bought the is clumsy, my self fall down. Teh lefa is not broken just it is not strong enough to support 52KG body weight. 2 of the chairs, so we puttes hem in attic. The table it self it’s not have nice soft surface. Overall is not really good quality. Understand the price is cheap but I could get better from other supplier. Cos I don’t have the details of the company (I wish) so I can get refund or something; knowing this already too late to get refund. I just got this from my email which I kept it long time ago. Again, not good quality!! Specially the chairs!!!!”

“Furniture was nice and we are very pleased with what we were able to use. I had tried to cancel one item but were unable to, I made enquiries about returning it and re ordering the smaller size. The Returns policy and costs are outrageous So I have an item valued at just £110 which is in perfect unopened condition which I would receive £29 back don’t know how they can justify this. For this reason I would not recommend them. I am giving the unusable bench to a local charity.”
