Absolutely disgusted by the lack of concern. The shop and salesmen were lovely and helpful. THEN this morning, day of delivery, I get a call from depot saying bed can be delivered but the mattress is unavailable and cant arrive until 15 May, today is 17 April, because although it looks like it is in stock to the shop, someone in warehouse inputted it in wrong and it isn't. So as our other bed and mattress was taken away yesterday to co-inside with todays delivery we now have nothing to sleep on. Depot lady, although nice just said sorry, shop says call customer services cos we are just a showroom, and as usual customer services are useless. Only suggestion we are given is wait or buy another mattress that can arrive sooner. In the meantime what are we to do sleep on the sofa. The least the could do is lend us the mattress from the shop of something, some compensation. NO NOTHING just a "well mate not our problem, do you want delivery or not". Will not be using again if they are so unreliable. 4 weeks they had to sort this, 4 weeks.

I advise anyone considering making a purchase from Oak Furnitureland is to question their commitment to adhere to delivery dates. On the 2nd Jan 2024 I purchased a TV cabinet with a displayed delivery date of 12 weeks from their Drakehouse store which on receipt of the order confirmation email it had increased to 14 weeks (2nd April) Waiting eagerly for the 2nd April to arrive, on the 22nd March (week 12) I received an update email stating delivery would be delayed due to attacks on shipping in the Red Sea and to contact the logistics team. Reviewing the issue apparently they located stock in the warehouse and agreed to reserve a unit and agreed to deliver on the 2nd April. Another email followed on the 30th March confirming a delivery time slot 2nd April between 15:00 and 18:00hrs. On the delivery day at 8:07, 2nd April (week 14) received a text message informing me delivery will not be possible and contact logistics team to rearrange an alternative date. I was informed the TV unit was currently out of stock and given a revised delivery date of the 18th April (16 weeks) Unhappy with the lack of notice and unable to speak with a manager, OBVIOUSLY I questioned my trust in this company and requested a full refund of my order. Obviously a typical case of 'Over promise and Under deliver'

Extremely inexperienced delivery guys. Poor customer service and heavy fine on return. Damaged our wall during furniture delivery. Please refrain buying from them otherwise you will suffer the same amount of pain in waiting and not getting your things right. Extremely disappointed

Beautiful Montgomery sofa in green. Unfortunately woken up by delivery driver before 6:30 am saying they would be with us in 20 to 30 minutes. Text and email had advised 9:30 to 112:30 so we were shocked. The delivery actually happened at 9:40. We really didn't appreciate the unnecessarily rude awakening.

Awful customer service , my mums drawer underneath the wardrobe from this place has broke. Very unhelpful staff member on the online chat , suggested to buy the handles online . Where it is impossible to buy them And it didn't meet the guarantee where it is suppose to be lifetime guarantee . A handle should last alot longer than 4 years . Will not be recommending you

We had a bookcase delievered on 23rd Feb last week, and had paid £30 for the room of our choice. 3 guys brought in the huge, but filthy dirty box (clearly had sat in a warehouse for months), took it to the room we chose, but then said that's it, we don't unpack. We were shocked. had just had the house decorated, and now they left, and we had to drag the box back out of the room to our hall, to have room to unpack it - not easy, and dispose of all the filthy packing and put the bookcase back - then we complain - oh and you can't leave a google review, they just use trustpilot (i.e. so they can avoid bad reviews, filter them and make things look better than they are)

We bought a sofa for just under £2000. We had to order the additional delivery (£60-70) as the only standard delivery they offer is on a Monday and we both work all day on a Monday so this wouldn't work. When the item arrived we got half of the sofa in and the foot stool to then be told our other half isn't in the van. Not the delivery drivers fault as they didn't load the van. The earliest they could then redelivery the next part was the following Tuesday. Which isn't good enough when we have events planned after moving into our new home. When talking to customer services the best they can offer is a £50 voucher (which is less than our FAILED delivery fee) which will only buy one or two items at their store. When quite frankly I don't want to give them any money. Robert the customer service manager couldn't refund our delivery fee and now we're left with only option of waiting and then spending more money in there shop as we don't need the items the £50 voucher would buy. Atrocious service and we're discussing a full refund of the whole sofa and experience because you do not deserve our money.

Disgraceful outfit - avoid like the plague . Failed to deliver furniture- bought and paid for . Used excuse of driver emergency - won’t deliver until next week - left with a cleared out room Customer services are a joke and it’s “like it or lump it “ and we’ve had your money - get lost 😡

Bought a 2 and 3 seater from the store with extra paid for delivery and installation, delivery arrived at 7.30pm team had to borrow a knife to open the boxes and then brought the furniture into the house to discover one of the zips that holds the arm piece on was damaged, I agreed to sign the delivery note and accept the sofa which was a mistake I should have sent it back out with them as the customer service from store and head office is nothing short of outrageous a true case of we've got your money so do one avoid at all costs

Failed deliveries, faulty products, shocking service apart from the delivery drivers who were very apologetic each time they delivered a poor quality/damaged item. Six items ordered,,delivered at various times over several months and had to be returned. A very long story which began in February and Finally ended in October. Won’t be using this company again.

Bought two reclining sofas 2 years ago happy with them until the one chairs foam started to lose its shape and not reform. Having taken out additional insurance which states we are covered for " Loss of resilience to foam and fibre interiors." I asked for the cushions to be replaced so the sent out an inspector who reported that it was fair wear and tear. I complained and they sent another inspector out (Mechanical Breakdown & General Insurance Services Ltd ) who told me that the foam had failed and he would report that and we would be contacted on how a repair would be carried out. He also mentioned in the report that I was of middle built stature. After a few weeks I emailed again and was told claim refused as it was fair ware and tear .. I have asked where to go from there and waiting for a reply. Got to ask...What is the definition of fair wear and tear on a sofa. We sit on it for 3 hours on evening and I`m middle built stature. Surely that`s a low average. We have no kids to jump on it and no pets. Our insurance is for 5 years ...should the sofa last that long before the foam fails ? Claim Reference: 410622

A member of staff greeted us and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. We told her sofas and coffee tables. Fine. She showed us an online catologue of coffee tables. Which we had already seen at home. We then said we would like to browse the store. The assistant followed on our heels around the store. Whenever we stopped to discuss an item she very rudely butted in on our conversation with her opinion. When we finally decided to think about the items needed the assistant quoted What is there to think about you must know what you want.!, We were so insulted and intimidated by the pressure to purchase.that we would never go into the Tunbridge Wells store again. If the staff are trained to do this then I feel that more customers will walk away.

Don't buy if you live in northern ireland. Cause they won't deliver to you. Worst company I've ever dealt with. They were good enough to take my money. After waiting weeks for my furniture it was cancelled twice Cause of my address. Got a full refund. Not a happy customer.

Visited the store in Uddingston and ordered 2 bookcases at nearly a thousand pounds and paid nearly an extra hundred for delivery into the room and take packaging away. My wife returned to the store the next day and ordered six dining room chairs and over a thousand pounds and again paid the extra for delivery, unpackaging etc. Same salesman said he would put it on the same order and so they would be delivered together. Result thinks I! think again - 3 guys pitched up in a van that looks as though it had come off the scrap heap but no chairs on board! They unwrapped the bookcases outside and then carried into the study and proceeded to put the handles onto the doors. As they were about to leave, I had a good look at everything before signing off only to find a handle not screwed in properly. Why do we pay these goons to do such a poor job. The fault sadly lies with the salesman who had not put both items on the delivery sheet due to a computer issue and he forgot to go back to it. No apologies and now waiting for the second delivery of chairs - I can hardly wait. I won't be buying from this organisation again. They really need to look at their service including obviously the sub contractors who deliver with unmarked vans!

Simon the sales person at Worcester Blackpole was absolutely brilliant in explaining all aspects regarding what we wished to purchase. He advised us and there wasn’t any pressure on us to buy anything so we felt so comfortable in our time at the store . I hope this will get back to Simon and the company as they both deserve praise. We will definitely be shopping there again when other furniture is needed. Regarding any score that would be asked about our experience, it would be 30 out of 10 as we have never received such excellent service and we are both Seventy Years old.
