I wanted to purchase a bedside table and collect from store but have been advised it can only be delivered for £9.99. Absolutely ridiculous when I only live a few miles away. Extremely disappointed as I already have one and wanted another one to match but will now be looking elsewhere. Have purchased several items of furniture from Oak Furniture Land over the past couple of years which I am really pleased with but won't be using them again.

I have pretty much furnished my entire home with their furniture. I have had excellent service each and every order placed. My first purchase was 2013. I had bedroom chest of drawers that developed a split in the wood 2 years after my purchase. I contacted them and without hesitation they sent out a replacement item and removed the old one. All of the pieces that I have are in excellent condition. I placed an order back in July and whilst waiting for my order to be delivered they had a sale and the prices reduced each by over £100. I contacted them and they immediately refunded me the price difference.

Avoid at all costs. I have been waiting on a faulty item being collected since 26th September. 1st Collection date 3rd October - cancelled on the day, 2nd Collection date 10th October - cancelled on the day. 3rd Collection schedule in 10 days' time on 20th October. They are refusing to refund my money until collection! Absolutely appalling service and the Customer Services Team need training.

We were quite concerned about all the negative reviews but am happy to say that, despite one delay on delivery date, all our furniture arrived on time, when they said it would, and in perfect condition. The delivery guys phoned us 10 mins before arrival. They were very polite; the furniture was built in situ; we were asked to check that we were satisfied with everything. I cant fault them at all.

I spoke to customer service as my items arrived damaged very helpful waiting for replacement.I had some bedroom furniture last year was very pleased with that looks lovely in the room

Order n/o OFL7988129 This is an update of a previous complaint.So we had contact today to basically say it was our fault for acccepting an earlier delivery and missing out on a £340 discount.We were foolish to think that we were going to be offered some sort of resolution.So in future any customers be careful in accepting any deliveries early than due date as we have made that mistake.we were not informed we would be penalised for this.This has cost us dearly.No good will gestures from oak furniture land.we will not be advising anyone to buy from you again.

Not happy stressed!!! They’ve had my money since July and now been told bedroom furniture not being delivered until November. Cancelled order and now having trouble getting refund. Absolute nightmare of company.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Never order anything from this company. Been waiting for a sofa for over three and half months. On delivery day they don't show up or call you. So your waiting in all day and losing work pay because of it. They Lie Lie Lie customer service are useless they get you to reschedule a date and again a no show. This company should be shut down.

Bought a 2 seater recliner sofa I hate it just 2 armchairs put together very badly have written to head office with photos with no reply at all. Ringing was hopeless no one answering many emails all returned undeliverved Keep well away

This company will lie and lie and lie. Being pregnant waiting for my sofas to arrive and there being a new excuse every single time (seven times in total) is unacceptable. Somethings going on with this company so be careful. I’d strongly advise staying well away because you could be left with no furniture and no refund.

ofl-7861495 Ordered bed and 2 bedside tables. All 3 had damage. They did knock some money off and replaced one of the bedside tables as it was too badly damaged. But i didn't bother replacing the others as it was likely (and reading other reviews here) would just be more damage. Can't recommend, wouldn't order again.

Ordered a cabinet May 2021, was delayed and we received a year later June 2022 after several delays only giving us a few days notice. When said cabinet arrived was damaged so had to have a new door, that came a few weeks later and that too was damaged so now we have to wait another 12 WEEKS for another new door and to add insult to injury they wont dispose of the damaged doors so we have 2 to get rid of….it will of taken 18 months for our cabinet to of arrived undamaged and thats assuming it is UNDAMAGED….who knows….NEVER AGAIN!!!!§

Terrible Quality ! We bought quite a lot of furniture from Oak furniture land for our new house 7 years ago ! We just moved to our new house and decided not to use that furniture anymore as we do not like the quality ! We tried to sell that stuff for lots less money and its even not easy to sell it ! Absolutely disappointed ! When you buy furniture like that you plan to have it for years !!!

ofl-7895191 Desk and bookcase. Two burly blokes brought it in for which I paid extra. All boxed up in cardboard which says "keep for returns". Couldn't even move it, let alone unpackage it. Rang customer service. Polite but unhelpful. 5.3ft 125 lbs. What do you want me to do?

I RANG TELFORD OAK FURNITURELAND SEVERAL TIMES ENQUIRING ABOUT THE STOCK OF A CERTAIN RANGE OF A 7 DRAWER CHEST OF DRAWERS FOR OUR SPARE BEDROOM. EVERY TIME I CALLED THE GENTLEMAN I SPOKE WITH ALWAYS CHECKED TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY STOCK. LUCKILY TODAY I CALLED AND THE ONE I WANTED WAS IN STOCK SO THE GENTLEMAN PUT A RESERVE LABEL ON IT. WE HAD TO TRAVEL 30 MILES BUT IT WAS WORTH IT THE SERVICE WAS BRILLIANT THE PERSON WHO SERVED US REMEMBERED ME CALLING SEVERAL TIMES . THANK YOU TO RYAN AT THE TELFORD STORE FOR THE AMAZING SERVICE NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE.

We where going to spend 1600 pounds but the they wanted to charge us for two deliveries on the same day. He would not move from this point so we just walked out. Good salesman tactic

Abysmal service!! I've been looking for ages for a large solid wood extendable table to seat my ever growing family and was so excited when I found exactly what I was looking for in our local Sheffield Store. The salesman (Barry - I think) was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we were offered a quick delivery time of 10 days later. We also paid for premium delivery and the 5 year insurance to make our lives easier. The first table arrived and I was told that it had to be returned because the bolt holes were drilled incorrectly and the inner mechanism of the table was damaged. I might add that the delivery guys had no tools with them to undo the packaging!! I also asked them to fit the protective pads to the chair feet to prevent scratching my floor but they refused, saying that i should ask the drivers that bring the replacement table. 7 days later the replacement table was delivered and again I asked the delivery guys to fit the protective pads but I was told to do it myself whilst they unpacked everything. Not so much an issue but this service was offered to me by Barry in store at the point of sale. There was a large, visible crack in the table top which according to customer services on seeing photos was unrepairable. The table was left with me and another top was ordered with a delivery date 8 days later. I was promised by customer service that the table top would be quality checked in the warehouse prior to delivery. Delivery number 3 arrived and the delivery guys, knowing my history, advised me that they were going to unpack and check the replacement top before bringing it into my property and dismantling the damaged one to return. Two minutes later they were knocking on my door to say that the replacement had to be returned, it was riddled with wood worm and that they couldn't risk bringing it into the house. He showed me a worm head which he said was an indication they the table must be riddled in it!! There was also a small area that he said had obviously been repaired. There were quality checked stickers on the packaging but I find it hard to believe this was true!! Table top number 4 was ordered for delivery to me yesterday. I explained to the delivery guys when they arrived that I'd like them to check the table top before bringing it into the house for wood worm and/or damage. True to form, 5 minutes later he was saying that this too should be returned because he'd found several holes. I agreed after I'd had a look as this table isn't cheap and I want to receive it in perfect condition. I await the arrival of delivery number 5 on Wednesday next week as I do really like this table after seeing it in the showroom. I have had the premium delivery charge returned to me and customer services have also given me the option for a full refund and cancel the order or 10% discount @ £230. I'm offended by this as not only have I not received the table in the quality I deserve and promised but I've also had to take 5 days holiday from my annual leave - a full wasted week of my entitlement!! I'm yet to make my decision, I want to see what delivery number 5 brings next week.

Avoid Avoid Avoid if you don’t want a terrible after service or a refund if the goods are faulty NO CUSTOMER CARE !!!!!!!!!!
