“Ordered the protectakote wb to coat a shower tray in a motorhome. The paint came quickly and well packaged. The paint is very thin and nigh on impossible to get to stay on a vertical surface. It pools badly. First coat took nearly 5 hours to dry and that is applying it very thin as per instructions. Wouldn't recommend especially for the price.”

We are very sorry to hear that you have had difficulty using Protectakote WB. It is a water based product so will appear to be thinner than a similar solvent based product but is no less effective and does give excellent adhesion to acrylic shower trays. However it is very important that the product is never stored at below 5°C, the substrate and air temperature must be above 10°C when its applied, particularly at this time of year we would recommend storing it at normal room temperature for 24 hours before use. The paint must be thoroughly stirred with a flat sided paint stirrer (not a screwdriver or stick) and either stippled on or applied with a textured honeycomb roller to get an even anti slip finish. Depending on the repair you might need to apply 3 coats.

We are very sorry to hear about the problems with your delivery, your parcel is currently showing as being at your local delivery depot so should be with you very soon but please note AB34 is 3 -5 working days for deliveries. There are unfortunately some delays at present with most of the courier networks caused by the current circumstances we are under, the 4 day Easter weekend, very high demand and staff shortages. I have asked the courier network to investigate why the tracking system isn't working for your consignment as we have never seen that before.

“No very helpful after sale. For whatever reason paint was delivered to billing address, called and tried to get help in reshipping as it a paint product that most couriers won't touch- no help really- wouldn't put themselves out.”

We are very sorry to hear that you are not happy with our after sales service. The goods were delivered within 48 hours to the shipping address supplied which was also confirmed on two separate order confirmation emails. Once the goods had been delivered our courier's automated delivery system would not have been able to change the delivery address. We phoned you as soon as we received your message and supplied you with the names of suitable couriers as requested.

“Hi Order and delivery went through fine but tins severely damaged of which may be problematic when I open them and then have to reseal the tins after use. Given when opened and not sealed properly contents will start to cure in the tin wasting my money as the products are very exspensive. In hind sight may well have been prudent for me to order smaller tins so any damage in transit would be limited.”

We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the length of time with your delivery. Unfortunately until we heard back from you confirming which colour you wanted we could not despatch your item and deliveries to off-shore Scottish islands can take up to 5 working days.

“Product doesn't match the description. Fast delivery & good price. However the description states. Transparent cedar. Will enchance the natural look. When I used the product it was so dark it looked wrong. Overall not very impressed.”
