“Being in our mid-sixties, we felt that it really had become a matter of some importance that we enquired about a Will. After reading such excellent reviews for My New Move Wills we contacted them and was offered their services both in writing our wills and additionally in drawing our attention to the necessity, in our circumstances , to the support of those wills, each with a Lasting Power of Attorney. Having agreed to the above we received the documents extremely quickly along with the relative instructions and advice as to their completion. My New Move Wills were kind enough to follow up by telephone, to ask if we required assistance with any problems we may have encountered and offering further help if needed. We are now in the process of completing all relevant details in each of the documents before returning them for their approval after which they will be sent back to us for retention. All in all, a complete and extremely helpful service that we can recommend to anyone who would appreciate being able to benefit from professional help, and on-going advice without the necessity of having to arrange appointments with in town solicitors for legal assistance. “Cannot recommend highly enough. I am a single woman looking after my 90 year old mum so the whole process was extremely daunting. We had been in the same house for 59 years and this was my very first house sale and purchase. Thankfully My New Move was recommended by my agent and they provided a brilliant service, easing me through the process, answering my probably naive questions and keeping me informed every step of the way. Most of the paperwork could be done online and this speeded the process. The only holdup in my chain was caused by an old-school solicitors!”

“My New Move were being used by a friend and I must say I simply cannot fault their services. They were quick to start the ball rolling, all communication was clear and it was in good time to allow us to proceed as quickly as possible, we didn't have to chase once and our purchase was during covid when viewings were only just being allowed again. Chyna Austin, was readily available and kept us informed throughout. As first time buyers, we needed perhaps more guidance than others but everyone from the My new move team were very helpful and professional. The online portal was clear to understand and it was useful too. We would definitely use My New Move again and would 100% recommend to friends.”

“I am not sure where my sister found My New Move, but what a find. They were very personable and professional throughout the whole process. No question was too trivial for them to answer and if you are unsure of any legal process, they will happily guide you through. Each member of staff I dealt with replied to emails or telephone calls within a timely manner and provided all the information requested. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone who asks, and if needed, will use them again in the future. Thank you Guys for all of your help!!”

“It's so nice to come back to the same contact person months later, who remembers your case and is instantly on your side, trying to simplify the process. Previously I had paid a deposit but my auction purchase fell through. Months later, and Chyna at My New Move was again excellent - after most normal business hours (7.00 pm!) my deposit was quickly transferred to the new instruction and things were rolling forward straight away.”

“We came to My New Move because of there great feedback and we weren't disappointed. This was our first time buy and we had heard of so many pitfalls and costly mistakes but My New Move were the perfect lawyers and covered all the searches all in one package. We have now exchanged despite the vendors solicitor dragging there heals all the time my solicitor kept on there case and we were done in just six weeks. And this was despite the fact that the seller failed to produce planning permission and my lawyer had to negotiate an Indemnity Insurance at the sellers expense. Thank you Chyna, Katherine and Eloise you made it so easy and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend My New Move without hesitation.”

“The guys at My New Move did conveyancing on 3 properties we bought. The solicitors were absolutely brilliant and faster than anticipated. Was kept informed throughout the process. They went through great lengths in explaining my misunderstandings and felt completely at ease. If you're used to lawyers that take days to respond to queries and do everything by post then I strongly suggest that you switch to My New Move. “**DO NOT USE** False advertisement and not a solicitors. We had an offer accepted on a property and instructed my new move to act on conveyancing for us. they advertised "no sale no fee" and fixed price solicitor fee's. We paid our account opening fee and as soon as this happened we were then off loaded to another company called ConveyLaw who are an actual solicitors. my new move don't actually do your solicitor work for you. problems started straight away. Once we received the pack from the sellers solicitors ConveyLaw then increased our legal fees by £1,200 as they said they had to do some additional work on the land title that nobody was aware of initially. we weren't happy as we had been told it was a fixed fee. as a result with the increase in costs we had to pull out of the house as we couldn't afford the extra work at the minute and any more unexpected cost increases. My New Move then refused to refund our £299 that we have paid to them for the work even though they advertise no sale no fee and guaranteed quotes. Brandon the MD then also refused to send me a link to review the company on this website so i had to go direct to them and prove i had dealt with the company and send them an invoice to allow me to notify everybody else what cowboys they are. all the reviews on here must be cherry picked by Brandon on who he lets review his company. I have also reported this company to Trading Standards, The SRA and the Legal Ombudsman, I have attached a picture of the email trail from Brandon confirming him blaming me for purchasing a property with a legal title that needed more work which nobody would have ever been aware of. My advice, find a local company pay the extra £100 and have a quality solicitor do your work. not this company who then hand you of to a 3rd party makes the whole process a lot more complicated. Possibly the worst solicitors(If they are one) i have ever dealt with.”

Dear Mr Morris Thank you for taking the time to review our service. Having looked into your file and having spoken to your firm of solicitors directly, it appears that the information you provided to us was not correct and that your freehold property was, in fact, a leasehold property. As a leasehold matter, this will obviously increase the amount of work that a solicitor has to do on your behalf and hence the increased costs incurred for the additional work. Again, it appears the Solicitor has advised there are substantial defects with the title which will require additional work from the Solicitor. Regarding a refund, disbursements are not refundable ie the property searches of £199 as this is a cost we pay to a third party we cannot request the return of the funds from the Council because you’ve decided to withdraw. You can, however, sell the searches to a new buyer or vendor. The initial £90 is not refundable after 14 days we hold the funds under our no sale no legal fee policy and you may use this deposit for your next purchase. No legal fees are being applied by Convey law for the work they have undertaken under the no sale no legal fee. We note you have benefited from a Report on title which has provided substantial information from the firms investigation of the title and protocols forms in order for you to abort your purchase. I do hope you understand this and that we can only provide a fixed fee quotation with the assumption that the information provided to us and the solicitor is correct at the time of instruction. We wish you well for the future.
