“A number of people asked to quote over the week after posting the job. Contact details varied from Ltd companies with a business address to individuals who only provided a mobile phone number. The quotes varied from very high quotes to very competitive prices from a Ltd company. Stay away from people who will only text a price with a limited specification. Ask for an email with the companies business address. Check whether they have public liability insurance since My job quote do not check on this. The website need to filter to try and restrict 'cowboys".”

“We requested a Carpenter to refit our doors and door pelmet and had agreed on a quote given by Sean Higginson . Sean has since carried out the work, although I will have to request he returns to correct the pelmet as it is slightly flawed, overall he has carried out a good job and would recommend him”

“Had work done by Mark and his team from United Composites, this was quite a challenging job, my hall stairs and landing,its an old house so has many problems. Work carried out was of good standard and they always cleaned up at the end of each day. Mark can get a little stressed but give him a brew and he soon calms down.”

“United Composites Ltd did a very good job plastering and decorator. Mark and his team very friendly, clean up before going home. Mark can be a bit of a stress head but give him a brew and he is back to his happy self. Overall a good job done.”

“Had several responses almost immediately, the first chap was genuine and helpful so he got the job. I spoke to another chap, I couldn’t understand what he was saying apart from quoting a ridiculous price and the dropping quote dramatically. I did not trust him. Overall I thought the site operated well and I was able to get the job done by a genuine plumber.”

“A short search led me to MyJobQuote. Glad I found it. It worked for me like the following. Day 1. Posted my problem as per the instructions on the website. Very simple to do. Day 2. Got a reply and quote and offer to come and sort out the problem that day. (I wasnt at home so went for the following day) Day 3. Job done! And rewiew posted. All in all an exceptional service from start to finish. Will I be using this service again? Most definitely yes.”
