after shopping with you through amazon for a number of years, I decided to deal with you direct through your own website. now a week after my first order I have received an email informing me of a TECHNICAL problem which has resulted in my order not being fulfilled. Doesn't bode well for the future. Having said that, the rest of my order has turned up promptly many thanks. i have enjoyed (mostly) my dealings with you in the past and I hope that this is just a blip

Two out of the four CDs I purchased had flaws which made them unlistenable.

Dodgy company. I ordered an iPhone 5c in December for my 8 year old, he's not exactly one for looking after stuff so ordered what was a pretty cheap phone at the time. I ordered the IPhone 5c through their eBay store for the princely sum of £79.99 for an grade A unlocked phone in green. (sons favorite colour) Anyways all was well until early February when it stopped turning on, so sent the company an email and sent it for repair. A few weeks later the company basically said it was broken beyond repair (didn't specify what was wrong) and said they didn't have any replacement in stock. (they were still selling that model on their ebay store in the same colour and capacity albeit at an inflated price, £129.99). Anyway they simply said they would send a refund for the £79.99 which they couldn't since the bank account used at the time is now closed. After pointing out they still had the same item in stock and that the bank account used was closed so could we arrange either a replacement or another payment to almynew bank, they simply told me a refund was issued and then stopped responding to me. Anyways I'll admit its a bit if an odd situation, but still, buyer beware! .

Disappointed that, after holding one consignment I had sent them, for 4 weeks, they came back to say many of the contents were missing. I had always had good experiences until then, but now feel that I can not trust what they say.

Sold my MacBook Air in working condition was given the price of £340 only to receive an email saying there was liquid damage so they changed the offer price to £42 as it was faulty (definition of faulty on the website states that the laptop does not stay on or work without power) which was not the case for mine. I rejected the offer only to receive my laptop back today in perfect working condition (as it was when I sent it) with the tiniest bit of discolouration on the screen. I understand saying the laptop was poor condition as it had some liquid damage but to offer me £42 and say it was faulty is absolutely ludicrous! Obviously just trying to scam people out of money.

I ordered a Wii game, which was shown as in stock and available, for my granddaughter, and paid for it. However, I received an email stating that there had been a technical issue and that game was in fact NOT in stock. My account is being refunded, however, I now have to explain to a 4 year old that she hasn't got a game coming after all

Sent phone with no option to specify that SD cover was loose, easily fixable, but obviously should be factored in price. Received revised offer of less 8% of the original price offered (Unlocked device, not a single scratch), completely unacceptable offer ofc. My guess is that once they have the item people are more likely to just accept this counteroffer rather than give you a fair price, hence why they're often at top price offers.

Hello, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. Having looked into your order, we can see that your item was originally listed as being in good condition. When your device was received and tested, it was found to be faulty due to the waterproof seal being damaged, as well as the back of the device being smashed. Due to the damage to the device, it was regraded to faulty and a revised offer was made. As the revised offer was declined, the item will be returned to you, free of charge. Kind regards, mM CS

I paid for next day delivery and was informed that the delivery needed to be signed for. The issue is that it took 4 days to receive the delivery and it was left on the door step! The phone was missing the head phones. I will not be purchasing anything from music magpie again.

Hello Peter, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. Having looked into your order, we can see it was placed on a Friday. As we state on our website, tech orders placed on a Friday will reach you the following Tuesday. This was the case for your order. We apologise that the item wasn't delivered to you directly - unfortunately as delivery is handled by Royal Mail, this was beyond our control. Accessories are not included with tech items purchased on our store, unless stated specifically on the listing. Kind regards, mM CS

I ordered an iPhone 6s on the 23rd of December. I received it on the 28th. As I was ready to use it, I put my GiffGaff sim in and it said that it was locked and "could not support the sim". I tried my old T-Mobile and Lycamobile sims too. I contacted them and returned the phone... I get a replacement and once again IT IS STILL LOCKED! What's worse is that both times I ordered an 128gb model and got 16gb. I first ordered the phone 5 weeks ago and haven't been able to use it once. Thank Music Magpie! Absolutely terrible! D:

The phone I purchased was a refurbished one and was not as stated at all! Very scratched when arrived, expected it to be in much better condition. Also had lots of problems with it, Battery is very very bad and runs out after about 40 minutes or less. Unexpectedly turns off when battery is nearly full! Very dissapointed.

I received an iphone 6s in supposedly pristine condition however it had a completely useless battery which only held it's charge for 2 hours!! Apparently it had passed quality controls which I find extremely hard to believe?! It has therefore had to be sent back to be repaired.......

Phone never received spent ages trying to contact them and promised they would call back and look into it.Only positive was I had free calls on my phone plan other than that would have cost me a fortune on calls.Eventually did receive a refund after a lot of calls to them and Royal Mail.Seems to have got lost with Royal Mail but Music magpie customer services has a lot to be desired.

I ordered a Galaxy s6 edge for my wife and liked it so I looked on line and ordered one for myself, the one I ordered was supposed to be unlocked but it was locked to 3 so I had to send it back. Got standard regret e-mail and my money back, looked again and saw another Galaxy 6 edge 64 GB unlocked cost a bit more but with £10.00 of so ordered it. When it came it was the same, locked to 3, guess what got the same regret e-mail, to the letter, no explanation or anything, no human involved got my money back, just wasted a month of my time, no customer service at all.
