They are a scam ... They are a scam .... got a camera from them 2024, battery should have been a genuine canon, was a third party battery that wasn't working properly. The agreed that i should have got a genuine canon, but didn't have one to exchange ... that was it !! They said that the battery was an "accessory" and not really part of the main kit. Genuine canon battery 150, third part 50 !! The only option they offered was to send the entire order back for a full refund. Not even an apology for trying to fob me off. Makes a mockery of all their guarantees and assurances. I would not trust them ever again.

Item never arrived. After three months they claimed it had been sent back to them by the courier but I still haven’t had my refund. Used to be good but now I am not so sure.

I’ll summarize it. On 3/19, I applied to a job posted on MPB’s career page. On 3/21, Jacob Fooks scheduled an interview for 3/27 @3:30pm EST. On 3/27, Jacob rescheduled it for the same day @3:00pm EST. On 3/27, I joined online a few minutes early, but no one showed up. I waited until 3:30 just in case, but no one showed up. I waited another 5 minutes to no avail. I even emailed Jacob mid-way while waiting, but he didn’t respond. I also emailed Jacob the next day to see what happened, but he still didn’t respond. On 4/2, I emailed Matt Barker (CEO), detailing what transpired, but he hasn’t responded. To date, there has been no communication from anyone at MPB. They wasted my time and proved they don’t care about people. Lack of professionalism and courtesy leads me to believe working at MPB is a bad idea.

Complete ripoff and dishonest. I returned the lens for repair and they told me he was ready to ship 8 days later I still hadn't received it. Then they said they found a replacement and they still haven't shipped it don't waste your money

Sent them my Sony FS7 and a Fujinon HA video zoom lens and they offered 400 for the camera and nothing for the lens. They returned the camera and "lost" the lens??? They are trying to blame it on FEDEX???? Horrible company do not use.

Reddit was right. They are cheapskates! Will nickel and dime your kit. Sent in my Panasonic 12-60mm f2.8-4 with a hood. At first, they told me there was never a lens hood in the package. I told them to send me a picture of the package contents and lo and behold, they had it the whole time. Then they told me it was the wrong hood and didn't fit... Mf, that hood came in the box with the lens when I bought it, you're telling me I've been attaching the wrong hood to the lens? Not even Dumb and Dumber could even do that. CHEAPSKATES. That it all.

Oh why am I forced to give them even a 1 star rating??? My choice would be -10, and that's being generous. My experience is reflected in all of the 1 star comments above, but after the way I was gaslit and summarily dismissed in the most patronising and condescending fashion, I somehow suspect that these reviews will not find their way to MPB customer service (if they even have one). So, the best thing I can do, to save future victims, sorry, potential customers, from being similarly ROBBED of the £400+ I paid for a dud lens, is to warn everyone- DO NOT seal with this company, under ANY circumstances....unless you're rich enough to take a hit on your hard-earned £££s. This company is a DISGRACE. If I'd read these reviews above before my ill-advised purchase, I'd be £418 better off. I got a quote for a repair of the lens 2 weeks ago from a different company to make it workable: £355... You can see now, my gathering ire. Still, it's not over just yet as Citizens Advice will be my next call and I'll be searching every avenue of Customer rights to make these b......s pay.

I bought a fujifilm x-h1 and a 16-80 f4 lens, the shipping was fast and I found the packaging adequate. I did not have to deal with support, so I can't talk about that. Would buy again based on my single experience.

We had a little dispute over the price of a drone I was selling. However, they were responsive and we were able to work it out to everyone's satisfaction. I appreciate their patience and willingness to be flexible. I'll continue to buy from them again!

I purchased a camera that was stated as 'Excellent Condition'. Upon arrival the camera had a sensor with a fingerprint on it, it was worn, the glass was pitted and unable to take a photo with any quality output. The camera is an obvious return or defect, but whatever it is; it is not a sellable item. And definitely not in excellent condition.

My first order from them the camera was dead on arrival and missing a strap. My replacement order was missing the battery charger and the strap is broken. When calling, I was told that they would see if they happen to have any spare chargers and straps laying around. If not I was told to just return the camera. I was also asked to take a picture of the non existent charger. How do they not have these items in stock and, more importantly, how is it two orders now have been screwed up? Mpb responded to my original review that they would have a supervisor reach out, which was a lie. They also vision that they have a very skilled and thorough quality team, which is also a lie. I feel at this point I should get some kind of compensation for my trouble.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with MPB.com, and my experience has left me thoroughly frustrated and disappointed. I placed an order for a Tamron SP AF 200-500mm f/5-6.3 Di LD (IF) lens for Nikon F Mount, specifically opting for 2-day shipping to ensure its timely arrival for an important event. However, what I received was far from what I had ordered. Despite the order, packing slip, and even the sticker on the lens cap indicating it was for Nikon, I was shipped the Canon mount version of the lens. This error rendered the lens completely unusable for my intended purpose, causing me to miss out on capturing crucial moments at the event. In the aftermath, I reached out to MPB.com's customer service immediately, only to find them closed for the entire weekend. It wasn't until Monday morning that I could speak to someone, and while they agreed to exchange the lens for the correct one, the process was anything but smooth. Upon finally shipping back the incorrect lens, which took a frustratingly long seven days to reach them (partly not their fault, but nonetheless indicative of a lackluster system), I expected expedited service for the replacement, given their mistake and my prolonged inconvenience. However, I was met with disappointment yet again. Despite my insistence and the clear responsibility on their part, MPB.com insisted that only the initial order was eligible for expedited shipping. It took persistent prodding from my end to finally secure overnight shipping for the replacement lens. Even then, the promised shipping notifications were woefully inadequate. The promised overnight shipping turned out to be nothing but a false hope, as I discovered my package was sent via FedEx Ground, adding another agonizing week to the wait. Throughout this ordeal, MPB.com demonstrated a complete lack of proactive customer service, with every effort on their part spurred only by my repeated inquiries. In summary, my experience with MPB.com has been a nightmare from start to finish. Their incompetence in shipping the correct product, coupled with their indifferent attitude towards customer satisfaction, has left me deeply dissatisfied. I strongly advise others to think twice before entrusting their business to MPB.com.

Absolutely horrible. This is the first and last purchase I will ever make with these clowns. Immediately after opening the box, I see that the camera strap is not included. So much for thorough inspection. Then I discover the piece of garbage they gave me won’t even come on after charging the battery. Apparently they take whatever piece of trash they can pass off as a functioning camera and throw it in a box to get your money with absolutely zero oversight into product quality or functionality. Will never do business with them again.

In late January I ordered a replacement battery for my Mavic pro drone. In retrospect I’m unsure if the picture was a Mavic 2 battery or not, but the product page title included what I was looking for *as well as* the invoice. “2” was no where to be found. Well that’s what I received, a Mavic 2 battery. It is now March and after shipping it back from MT to NYC, arriving on Feb 16th, they are STILL PROCESSING IT. I got a confirmation that it was packed for dispatch, a full 7 days later and no shipment confirmation. DO NOT take your risks with this company. They are incompetent and lazy.

I sent my equipment to them in good faith based on other reviews. They had provided an initial estimate and then lowered that estimate by £200 based on spurious evidence. The camera was returned to me less an accessory that I was later had been destroyed. That is despite the piece of equipment being detailed in an email to them. Their response was utterly pathetic and of no help. Apparently it was claimed it was my fault.

I enquired about buying a lens from them and sent them a message, I eventually got a message back 3 days later telling the lens I interested in did not have any dust inside it and was in good condition. I replied to them saying thanks I will purchase the lens, HOWEVER! The price had suddenly gone up by £450! huh? I asked why but still awaiting a reply. What do i think? VERY DODGY! Dear Truspilot before you remove my genuine review I have the evidence and spoke with Jake their Customer Experience Advisor.

MPB is the worst company I’ve ever worked with. I bought a lens, but decided to cancel the order so I could with a better one I found afterwards. I worked with one of the customer service representatives to cancel my order. They assured me the order was cancelled, and I bought the other lens. The next day, I received an email saying the lens was being dispatched from my house original order. I reached out to MPB again and they told me it was a soft glitch in the system. So not only did they lie the order was cancelled, they refused to follow up and notify me about it. They refused to give me a refund until the order was received back citing company policies. I’m fairly certain their company policy doesn’t include lying to customers. In addition, the other lens I ordered which was graded as “excellent” is in “good” condition at best. Highly considering returning it. Do not order from this company! Adorama, KEH, and B&H have much better prices and customer service.

This was perhaps my worst ever customer service experience and I still haven't even resolved it, I was trying to put off writing a review until it was fully resolved but I don't know if it ever will be, so here we go. TLDR: Sent me only one of my three items and somehow sent the others to someone else, made me wait 3 full weeks with no updates, refunded me for the missing items and refused to allow me to get another SKU of the same camera with the same accessories for the same price I paid for the lost one, then ghosted me. Full Story: I ordered a Sigma FP, a lens for it, and a gimbal. I had picked this particular body, only in "good" condition, because it was cheap and had a third party grip and camera cage, which I was specifically interested in getting. This was the largest purchase I've made in years and I trusted MPB since they are supposed to be reputable. I got a package a few days later and I immediately noticed that it was too small and light to have my items in it. I opened it to find that sure enough, it was just the lens and nothing else. I contacted support, and was told that they had a photo of all my items together before they were packed so I should check the box again. As if I wouldn't check... the box. I told them that the box wasn't even big enough to fit the gimbal in it, they told me they would open an investigation into the missing items and would contact me. They didn't. Two days later I contacted them again and was told that the investigation was still ongoing. Same thing again two days later. One full week after my first contact, I called them and was told the same thing. Then a few days later I contacted AGAIN and was told the same thing. Finally about two and a half weeks later they refunded me without asking if that was even what I wanted, and when I said that I didn't want a refund, I wanted a camera, they told me that I could buy a different SKU. Now, the only other SKU on their site that also had the grip and cage accessories that I wanted was in better condition, and as such was about $150 more than the one I had originally tried to buy. I asked if I could get a discount on it to get it for the same price I already paid. I was instead offered a $50 off a purchase of $250 or more coupon. I responded and told them that that coupon was useless to me because I had a student discount coupon that was more of a discount. They told me they couldn't combine the coupons, and they couldn't give me any other discount. I asked to talk to someone higher up, who told me the same thing and suggested that I buy my items separately to get the most use out of the coupon. I explained that that wouldn't help, since the gimbal was less than $250 so I couldn't use their coupon, and the camera body was over $1000 so the 5% off student discount was more than the $50 off coupon. The person responded with a snarky response about how if I was not willing to buy them separately then I should just save the code for the future. I responded and yet again walked step by step through how buying the items separately wouldn't help me, despite having already explained that. I was then told that I should just save the code for next time then. I sent one more follow up email explaining that all I really wanted was the camera I originally ordered, and that as someone who has worked in customer service myself for over 10 years that I thought it was reasonable to expect them to give me the other SKU that I thought would be a valid replacement for the price that I had already paid, since they were the ones that messed up my order and left me confused and frustrated for three weeks as I waited with no information. I explained that I had had to cancel shoots I had planned because I ended up not having a camera. I wasn't trying to get something for free, I just wanted them to allow me to get the other SKU with the accessories that I wanted for the price I paid for the one they lost. I never received a response to that email, and that was two days ago and I can't imagine I'll hear anything else from them either. I would NOT trust them with my money or my gear after this experience, and I would not expect to hear anything useful from their "customer service" if there is an issue.
