Caution: Considerations Before Choosing MOTOREASY - Be Informed!!!!! I regretfully admit that choosing MotorEasy for my car warranty was a mistake. Despite the initial assurance from their salesperson that they are the best in the market, my experience has been quite the opposite. When I needed them the most in March 2023, MotorEasy and their approved garages let me down. The first letdown was the failure to properly diagnose my car's issue (Car seat occupancy mat and suspension-related issues) in three attempts. It wasn't until I insisted on seeking another opinion that multiple issues were uncovered, issues that their approved garage had overlooked. I reported these issues eight months ago, and they still haven't been resolved. Now, after four visits to their approved garage for a supposedly fixed fault, the problem persists shortly after taking my car back. This has translated into numerous days without my car, countless hours taken off work, and the hassle of dropping the car off at their approved garage repeatedly. Frankly, I would have preferred not having the warranty and using that money to ensure my car's repair to my satisfaction. I am still £120 out of pocket for diagnostics which was promised to be refunded by Dane Walters. I've spent considerable time on the phone with MotorEasy, detailing the entire issue. I even wrote an email to their Head of Customer Relations, Vicki Beesley, copying their CEO, Duncan McClure Fisher, but unfortunately, my efforts have yielded no positive results. Typically, I refrain from writing negative reviews even in the face of poor service, but MotorEasy's appalling performance compels me to warn others. Before considering any warranty from MotorEasy, I strongly advise potential customers to think twice and consider alternatives.

Dear Mr Ziauddin, Your 8 year old BMW had play in the steering rack and worn suspension arms raised as advisories at its December 2022 MOT test. You opened a claim relating to these, plus a further seat belt alarm fault, subsequently cancelling a diagnostic booking to rectify these. A month later you opened a new claim for the same faults plus a temperature sensor issue. The temperature sensor and seat issue were approved, but a track rod end issue was declined as it was not a sudden and unexpected failure, as it had previously been flagged as an MOT advisory. Had it failed this would have failed the MOT test. In October you attempted to claim for the suspension arms that had been raised as MOT advisories the previous December, but these were declined as the parts had not suddenly or unexpectedly failed. No warranty is able to cover faults that have previously been raised as MOT advisories as they have not suddenly or unexpectedly failed. We have since covered the track rod ends as a goodwill gesture, but cannot continue to exceed the terms of your warranty plan and cover the wishbone faults also raised as MOT advisories. We have also previously covered a mass airflow sensor fault on your vehicle. Regards, Rory

in march 2019 the manufacturers warranty on my Audi a5 expired. I decided to extend the warranty with motoreasy as it was recommended by What car and Honest John. on Monday my car broke down with and I was left stranded at the side of the road MotorEasy booked me into one of their approved garages and arrange for the car to be recovered. It tuned out to be a gearbox problem and today I got the car delivered back - Yes delivered back !!

This is to update my previous review. After cancellation, the manager/owner called me up and apologized himself. He was interested in improving his service and trying to get my point of view of the episode. He did note down some issues especially with communication and promised that he would work on it. I am rating 3 stars instead of low rating, for their attitude to correct themselves and intentions to do better.

Top company for mot, service and repairs on car. Can’t beat the price and the simplicity. Basically they do the haggling on work done and get it all on trade. You would be mad not to. Will use again and have recommended to family and friends
