“I came across Mortgages 1st online as I was looking to purchase my first house but was unsure of how to go about it. I put in an online enquiry and within 24hours had a response. My case was assigned to mortgage consultant Lucy Woodhouse, who has supported me no end. I cannot thank her or recommend her enough! She has explained everything to me and made sure that I understand the process as well as all documentation before moving forward with anything which has been so helpful, especially for someone who is new to all of this. Lucy has been accommodating with regards to contact after working hours where necessary, additional being prompt and courteous. She has sent me through each stage of the process so far and continues to do so to completions end. I would highly recommend working with Mortgage 1st whether you are a first time buyer or have been through the process of purchasing a house before. “Mortgage 1st were recommended to me and from the moment I got in touch with Sam, he has always been available to help with any questions and his knowledge of all aspects is unmatched. From myself asking questions around new mortgage schemes appearing, he already knew about them and was able to thoroughly explain them. Sam also got me a much better range of mortgage offers than other mortgage brokers that I was told to go through by the new build sellers and was able to be flexible around the change in house pricing from what I originally discussed. The mortgage application process has been clear to me all the way through and Sam has been on top of everything, even being credited by the building sellers for how on top of it he was. The processing stage was also very smooth and Sharlene kept me updated at every stage with any issues or further information that was required. Sam also put me onto insurance quotes who have come back to me with good options for both building and contents insurnace which again has taken the pain away from me having to search myself. I would 100% recommend them both and mortgage 1st again. I'm sure I will be back in a few years when I need to reassess my remortgage options.”

Choosing the right mortgage and getting the best deal can be quite daunting at times but Lucy clearly explained every option and recommended the best deal that would meet our needs. “We are so happy with the help and service we have received from Elliot and Keeley at Mortgage 1st. We have had the amazing help from Elliot and Keeley within getting a mortgage for our first home, both Elliot and keeley have been absolutely amazing, so attentive, patient and supportive throughout the whole process (which can be quite stressful) and they have both made it as easy as possible for us! He has been great helping us to acquire our mortgage offer and now Sharlene Risden is helping us, with him too, to continue to mortgage process. She has been wonderful too!
