I first got a Mooncup aged 20 after seeing their stickers in public toilets and then reading a blogpost about how convenient they were for travelling. Since then I’ve tried a few others, nixit, saalt and one I bought in Waitrose. No other ones compare to the Mooncup for being leak free, comfortable and easy to use. I’m 32 now and I’ll be using a Mooncup until my periods stop! Thanks for making such a great menstrual product :)

My first time trying the mooncup and I absolutely love it, on a heavy period I would have to change every hour, with the mooncup I can go 2-3 hours and it’s easy to use at home.

Very happy with switching to the Mooncup! I had a few teething issues at first, but the troubleshooting page is very helpful, and I think I've got the hang of it now! It feels so good not having to buy tampons all the time, both for the environment and the wallet!

After having my coil out and having no periods for 10 years, the mooncup has been hands down the best thing to have been developed as part of period products. As a heavy bleeder it was a constant battle through that week of the month. Now, I barely think about it. It's easy, comfortable and holds an awful lot more than a normal tampon I definitely won't be going back to anything else.

Amazing customer service. I wrote to the company explaining that I wasn’t 100% satisfied with my Mooncup size B as I had some pain on removal. They immediately sent me a beginner size B which should be much gentler due to the softer silicone. I’m so excited to use it, and couldn’t be happier with the customer service I received. Thank you Mooncup! ❤️

Wow… I will admit I was dubious. But I’ve had mine for just 2 days and I will never ever go back to tampons or pads. I can’t feel it, it’s easy to insert, remove and clean. And my god it makes me feel like a new women when on my period. No more worrying about leaking. Both tampons and pads made me feel gross by the end of the day. If you are in the fence, please just give it a try!

I have used a Mooncup for 20 years now. After initial teething problems with installation and removal! (hint: do not cut the stem until you are absolutely sure it is too long, I cut mine too short and it was v difficult to remove! many calls to a friend later...!) I have never looked back. Persist!!! I can't tell you how much you will not regret it. It is eco, saves money, but best of all it is so utterly fuss-free, convenient, comfortable (I often felt tampax esp when full or dry), and practical. If you're going anywhere near water (I do a lot of water sports in the summer) it is the best option of all options. You never have an issue with water-logging of any sort. I have never been held back doing ANYTHING because of my period since using a Mooncup. I spent my teenage years miserable on my period, esp sailing in the summer! I recommended it to a girlfriend in the CCA and she said the same, it revolutionised her life on her period. All you need in order to empty/clean it when not at home, is a bit of water and soap and a bit of privacy. But I have always managed to make it work everywhere. It doesn't need changing/cleaning as much as tampons, not by half. Depending on the heaviness of your period, you find a changing rhythm that suits you. I would recommend a mooncup to anyone. They last for years, the only reason I replaced my initial one is that my luggage was lost. And all you have to do between periods is boil it for 8mins to steralise. Simples. I love it

Honestly life-changing. I suffered from UTIs most months post period and they have completely cleared up. I feel more secure and confident when exercising with my Mooncup. I’m saving so much money and helping the environment too. Incredible.

I no longer have to worry about whether or not I’ve bought enough sanitary products when out. I’m saving a huge amount of money and helping protect the planet. I’ve used the Mooncup for a couple of years now and I’ll not go back. It gives great protection from leaks and (once you get used to the change) is so easy to use.

I love my mooncup! It's taken me a few cycles to get the hang of it - the first cycle I really wasn't sure about it as I could feel it pinching a bit, but I now know that I didn't have it in the right place. I've become bolder with it over time, and now I have no worries about shifting it around until it's right (tip: once it's inserted, give it a couple of twists to help it sit right). For me, the cup doesn't fully open up unless I wear it higher than the diagram suggests, but once it's positioned right, I don't even know it's there. There is a mindset change to make the switch from tampons (which I found convenient, but really didn't like the feel of, especially on lighter days - that awful dry feeling), as the blood is all a lot more visible, but I don't think that's a bad thing. It's healthier to be more in tune with what your body is up to. The environmental aspect of it is also absolutely huge for me - I hate all the plastic waste from traditional sanpro. I mix and match the mooncup with reusable pantyliners and period pants (which are also magical game changers that I can't believe it's taken me so long to find), and I feel totally liberated.

Life changing. Took me 10years to give the mooncup a go and couldn’t be happier to have done so. The first day was definitely a bit of a challenge to work out how to insert the cup and then, to actually learn to trust it! But it works, so much better than a tampon. From needing to wear period pants at night, I’ve never had an issue with the moon cup and in general my periods are lighter and u experience less cramping with the mooncup. The environmental win goes without saying. Only thing one needs to wrap your head around is the practical side of cleaning it out if not at home, but this is 1 x small negative compares to a longer list of large positives. Thank you mooncup!

It's ok, but would love to have the size explained on the packaging as I was buying tampons and saw Mooncup. There were A and B and no explanation. My toddler was jumping around and the internet was not working in the store, so I grabbed B which I thought would be bigger, and only after already testing it did I decide to Google what size was more suitable and saw that I should have definitely gotten an A. Now, I'm leaking and have to throw the cup away and buy a new one. Very sad that 2 small print lines could not have made it to the packaging.

I've been using mooncup for over 5 years now and can't thank enough! It literally changed my life. I can do anything I want to do during a period such as swimming, yoga, running, sleep over at friends' place which I used to avoid when I was on a period. It saved my period life but also it is great to know that I am contributing to the environment as well. All of my friends that I have recommended mooncup loves it too. Thank you for the genuinely amazing product. I can't live without mooncup anymore!

I was really really anxious and nervous about trying the moon cup, but oh my I am so glad I did. Literally has changed my periods for the better. I wasn't sure I'd know what to do and I worried it would leak. But I got the hang of it so quick and I braved going out the first day and all was fine. I feel I'm going to save a fortune on Tampons and I am so much happier that I am finally being much more environmentally friendly.

Really uncomfortable for me. Think this one is too firm. Unable to get a refund despite going through all the channels. Have not recieved a response.

I only have one complaint, that I didn't use one sooner!! thanks Mooncup, a revelation!

delivery was fast, and the cup is a great quality. however i am still struggling to use it completely effectively, experiencing leaks sometimes. id also like it if the bag was of nicer quality. overall great though, and at an affordable price

Best buy EVER! I hadn't had a period for 10 years due to the coil. When I got it removed and started having periods it was quite a shock for me. I'm not good with blood for a start so that didn't help! I hated wearing pads as they made me feel dirty and like I couldn't do or wear certain things and I don't like tampons (chemicals, string, uncomfortable, etc) Bought the cup. Initially I bought the wrong size. Once I'd realised this, after having a bit of a traumatic first try, MoonCup sent me the correct size for free! So I already felt very supported and cared about as a customer. The first 3 months take getting used to, to be honest. The first month, I really hated it. I found it awkward, worrying and a bit confusing. It took me AGES to get it out. BUT I persisted as the reviews on here said it takes a few cycles to get your head round it. The second month was a little easier, but I still wasn't convinced. Still awkward. The third month felt a lot better - I'd figured out the best fold of the cup for me to insert and I figured out how to remove it without feeling worried. After that I have never looked back! This is my 6th cycle with it and I LOVE it! Easy to insert & easy to remove. No pads, No mess, No worries. I can wear anything, do anything and can't feel anything! HIGHLY recommend this! Give it until your 4th cycle to make a decision on using it permanently - you'll be surprised how amazing it is!!

I love my Mooncup. I genuinely am kicking myself for taking this long to try it; I feel free, and at home in my body,. There is an adjustment period, and I can imagine that the 'getting up in there and personal with yourself' approach may not be for everyone. However, as someone coming from towels and a brief trial of period underwear, I find it really freeing to have moved to a less 'messy' method and one which helps me feel less like some sort of blood-ridden leper every month. The Mooncup lets me still feel sexy and desirable on my period. For those coming from tampons, I imagine the Mooncup would give additional flexibility - it can be left in longer, and avoids the discomfort of removing a half-dry tampon, or navigating tampon use when swimming or using the bathroom. I appreciate being more plugged in to my body and its biology. On top of all that, the sustainability of it being multi-use helps me feel like a better citizen of the planet, and I appreciate not having bags and boxes of towels building up in the cupboard. Thank you, Mooncup!

I was unsure if a Mooncup would be right for me but I was so grateful for the support beforehand and then during a few teething problems that I had. I was so impressed by the quality of the support and the help given, it made all the different. A special thanks to Nicky and I really recommend Mooncup 😊
