“It took a few tries (and a slightly obsessive weekend messing up my boyfriends YouTube recommendations!) to get the hang of the cup but I can say it is SO WORTH IT! Lockdown is the perfect time to give it a go and I highly recommend doing your research before use. It really helps to have fold options, positioning and removing tips at the ready when needed! “Just the best, what a buy. So happy with this product! I think it’s a little daunting on the first use but that feeling soon goes. After a couple of cycles use I find the cup so comfortable easy to use and clean. I can relax and not worry about leaking on periods, as mine personally are all over the place. Having a light flow one day of the cycle and using heavy flow tampons just isn’t comfortable. With the moon cup you don’t get any dry friction. FAB!”

“I have always experienced severe irrational from sanitary towels and tampons. I’ve used the moon cup for over 3 years now. It fits securely and never leaks. “I never though of buying a mooncup and it scared me but it is the best thing I have ever bought. I have been having problems with my periods for almost 3 months they are all over the place I have really heavy ones that stop me leaving the house, I have to change my heavy flow tampon even 10 mins.... “I wish I'd bought my Mooncup much earlier. It can be used for light and heavy days and all the time I'm using it I feel I'm doing a little bit for the environment by saving waste. I've bought some "period pants" to go with it but haven't had too much need for them. It took a little while to find the right 'fit' but I usually don't feel it at all, and definitely less than a tampon. If your thinking about trying this then go for it!!”

“I've been using a mooncup for a few months now and I am very happy with it. In the beginning I was a little worried that it might get stuck but the instructions were really helpful and I never had any issues! I feel like this version is way more hygienic than tampons or pads and it's way more comfortable. Also it is very affordable and sustainable. Great choice when trying to save money, avoid unnecessary trash and/or wanting to feel more comfortable and save during your time of the month.”

“I really like my mooncup! I tried another brand but mooncup is the most comfortable for me. Just one remark regarding the size advice: I think it is misleading to give the size advice based only on age. There are so many factors that influence your choice of size and I think this should be mentioned on the website. E.g.: I purchased a mooncup size A because I had turned 30 a few years ago and it turned out that the bigger size hurt me a lot, so I had to go back to size B.”

Our sizing guidelines are based on age and childbearing history, both of which can affect pelvic floor tone. That said, we of course understand that everyone is different. “I'm so happy to own this. No more throwing away used sanitary products! The first month was a little awkward, while I worked out how to put it in, and take it out, but since I chopped off the tail to the correct length, it's been a dream, and so comfortable. I love that it doesn't dry me out, I love that (other than the first day of my period) I only need to worry about it twice a day. It's so freeing not to need to cart around a box of products while I'm on my period. I honestly would recommend getting one so much.”

“Only wish I had had my moon cup earlier in my life. I’ve raved about to everyone and are buying them as presents for women I know of all ages. No waste, no leaking, and having to change it less. Took a bit of time to get used to but think once you’ve worked out it doesn’t insert as far as a tampon would and trimmed the stem right down it’s great!”

“I really like the idea of the cup but it’s a hassle to insert/ remove and then emptying and sterilising is just added faff. I trimmed the stalk because it was uncomfortable but then I couldn’t get an easy grip to remove so I just gave up and switched to the pants (much easier) but I still recommend the cup to other people.”

“I absolutely love the mooncup and I rant and rave about them to everyone! I started using them before I had my firstborn (to be honest, I was a little gutted when I was waiting for my period to happen before I found out i was pregnant because I was just so excited to use it again 😂). They are honestly life changing, and especially good for me post baby to help strengthen those pelvic floor muscles subconsciously, which is something i forget to do! It's also just so much easier, quicker, and cleaner then wearing a tampon and sanitary towels, and not too mention no guilt from the waste, and no need to empty your bathroom bin that stinks and is rammed full of periody stuff! Win win! If your contemplating getting a mooncup dont think just do it! You wont regret it I promise!”
