"If you are looking to modernise your staircase you need to look no further than Vale of Wigan. From initial enquiry to final installation, the service was excellent. I would recommend a visit to the showroom where you can get get a feel for the quality of the product. Chad was very helpful in showing us the various options but leaving us to make the final decision without any pressure.\r\n\r\nAnthony did a great job with the installation. His attention to detail was excellent and he made suggestions for improving details where necessary.\r\n\r\nShane was quick to resolve minor misunderstandings regarding the specification and was always focused on the customer's needs and satisfaction.\r\n\r\n"

“Highly Recommended! …… if you are considering refurbishing your stairs then look no further than Vale of Wigan. We recently decided to update our 1960s “ranch style” balustrade to a modern “oak and glass” staircase. This has completely transformed the look of our hallway and landing areas and we are delighted with the results. The whole process, from review of samples with Shane, ordering and through to completion of installation was extremely professional and on schedule. A huge thanks to Shane, Anthony (the fitter) and the whole Vale team for an excellent job well done!”

“Commencement date 29 March Shane and his team at Vale of Wigan recently replaced our staircase. The old one was very dated. In addition the stairs creaked dreadfully. As well as the replacement we also asked if they could stop the creaking. They found the cause of the creaking – damage to the stair risers from a previous carpet installation – a carried out a repair. The finished job is gorgeous, and practically creak-free, so we are very happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vale to others to replace tired, old staircases. In fact they have now converted the staircases at number 6, number 7 and number 8 in our cul-de-sac of 11 houses! Many thanks”

“We have had many good workers in this house over an extensive refurb. I must say however Vale of Wigan are the pick of the bunch! From the detailed quote taken from 3 photos sent online through to the whole process of installation and finishing their work was outstanding. Unlike competitors their components are not pre finished, taking the approach of sending in the highly skilled Brian to French polish the completed installation the day after. This firm take huge personal pride in their work. Hugely detailed craftsmanship evident throughout. I must also recommend the option of the glass inlaid into the timber, to us a much sleeker aesthetic. Thank you Shane, Chas and Brian.”
