“I ordered two pairs of boots which arrived within reasonable time. One pair was perfect and after a couple of months I am still really pleased with them. The other pair was a little tight so I returned them to my nearest store. I was informed that the refund would be sorted from the online department with in 5 working days (as per the info on the back of the receipt) After 9 (so7working days) I had received nothing, not even an email confirming it was being processed so contacted customer services. The next day (so twice the time it should have taken) I received the refund and half an hour later a message from customer serves saying that they had checked and the refund had already been made! Clearly they realised it had not gone through and then having done it, emailed me as if I had missed it! Conclusion-products lovely, refund department shoddy!”

“Ordering on line process was fine but in store experience not so good. I collected my order from my local store and was not impressed by the staff member who served me. She wasn’t very friendly and seemed as if she couldn’t be bothered.”

“My order arrived promptly and the boots were lovely, unfortunately they were too small. What I hadn’t checked was the returns policy and as I live some distance from a Moda in Pelle shop I would need to pay for postage. I was a little disappointed in this as most of my online shopping can be returned without charge. Had I realised this I wouldn’t have placed the order, as it was my daughter loved the boots and they were a good fit so she had them.”

“Unfortunately when my sandals arrived because the box had not been padded out the shoe box was damaged ... the sandals had obviously been tried on quite a lot because the sole was marked .. I Didn’t have time to send them back as had a evening do to go to. Shame because the sandals are lovely to wear...”

“Although I love some of Moda In Pelle’s footwear, quite a few styles vary hugely in size. The boots I ordered in a size 5/38 were so big they fell off my feet! I am definitely a 5- 5and a half, but these boots were more like a 7. Apart from being a disappointment, I had to pay twice for postage - once to receive them and once to return them. Not happy this time at all.”

“I bought a pair of boots from a local shop. I loved them and wanted another color so ordered them in black. Ordering was easy and delivery very efficient. However when the boots arrived it looked like they had been previously returned by another person. The lace on one shoe was black in places and the tongue on the other boot was badly creased. I have many different styles and colors on Mida in Pelle shoes and boots bought from my local shop. I love the products but was v disappointed by the experience of buying them direct from Moda in Pelle.”

“Love the designs and customer service can't be faulted but just tried to purchase 2 pairs of sandals on an offer (2 separate occasions) and both pairs had one sandal that had been 'stretched' across the top of the foot making it soo big and impossible to keep.very disappointed”

“Purchased a pair of boots online but was very disappointed when they arrived as one boot was faulty and I had to return them to your store at Meadowhall Sheffield, only to find they hadn’t my size in stock, so had to order another pair to be sent to my home address.”

“Review of Ametti ankle boots ordered on line. I bought three pairs or these boots in navy last year, one pair in my local House of Fraser and two on line, that are perfect and no problems with delivery etc. I ordered two pairs in black a couple of weeks ago, they arrived promptly BUT the fitting of one boot is slightly big and it slips on my heel, in the second pair there is a crease in the leather of the right boot so unfortunately both pairs will be going back.....I haven’t decided whether I will try again or not! They are lovely boots and very comfortable...when they’re perfect!! I would appreciate an explanation or comment please! I’m a pretty good customer, I also have four pairs of your long boots....and I stay faithful to a brand with which I’m happy! Two of your staff in House of Fraser in Dundrum in Ireland deserve a mention, Carol and Katy, both are very helpful. Mary Nagle”

“I have trouble uploading website sometimes. Made two separate orders, delivered in separate ways by different service providers, one needed a signature the other did not. Biggest bugbear is that returns are not free. Understand that some people may go overboard ordering different styles, colours and sizes so could cost a lot on returns but maybe offer free refund up to a certain postage value. This value could be refunded at same time as refunding value of goods. Deters me from ordering online again.”

“I love moda shoes, unfortunately not all styles fit me, a 4 is too big and 3 is too small in some styles. I have made a couple of expensive mistakes.”

“Absolutely five stars for styling! I love my shoes. Five stars also for customer service. Faultless. Five stars for comfort. Super to wear. BUT...so worried about the quality...I have worn these shoes ONCE in a carpeted marquee and they look very shabby already. The leather looks as if it will wear through. So disappointing as these were not cheap shoes.”

“Shoes didn’t fit . Sizing different all the time. V disappointed that they don’t offer free postal returns and expect the customer to pay. Not good customer service but generally the shoes are gorgeous”
