“I am disappointed with my new boots since I thought they were going to be suede. Looks cheap”

“Ordered wrong size, but I wouldn't have kept them anyway. Nice enough boots, but not leather - not really worth the full price. Arrived quickly, but beware - buyer pays return postage!”

“I was a little bit disappointed when I opened my recent purchases to find that my 2 pairs of knee length boots looked as if they had just been thrown into the box and sent. They weren't wrapped nicely as they usually are and there the boots looking as if they have been taken care of whilst in the shop/storage. Sounds only a small thing but given how much I have spent over the years and that I keep all of my purchases in their original boxes so that they are kept in good condition these 2 boxes just look a bit scrappy in my wardrobe/dressing room.”

“Purchased shoes online which was easy Only 3stars given due to the dilivery was a JOKE YODEL are used they were returned back to stock as unable to find my business work address ! This was the same day as receiving the delivery at base. Took over 2weeks to come Shame as I won’t buy from here again due to this matter”

“Order quoted shoes when I ordered bags and there was a discrepancy between the total value of my order and what was listed to be deducted from my bank account. I was correctly charged but the interim period was a worry”

“The order arrived quickly and well packaged, Already had these boots in Tan and loved them ,So ordered then in Black but these had big creases in the leather and looked plastic not what I expect pf a pair of boots that cost over £200 so had to return them, At my own cost !!!!!!”

“The boots are lovely but the calf section is really tight and I have struggled to get the zip all the way to the top so having to wear them not fully zipped in the hope they stretch”

“This is the 3rd time you have asked me to write a review for the same items!!! I bought 2 pairs of boots. I explained they were a bit difficult to get on and off as there was no zip . The elastic has now ‘given’ a bit and it doesn’t take my husband quite so long to pull them off my feet!”

“I saw the boots I liked online & went into my local Moda In Pelle store to look at them, & hopefully buy a pair. The store assistant was curt & dismissive (I was abruptly told they didn't have them in my size, end of conversation. However, another lady in the shop at the same time was kindly advised they didn't have the boots she wanted in her size in stock, but if she popped along to the Brown's store up the road they might have them there. I was surprised at the different treatments we received. I must jog look like a desirable customer. ) So, I went home & ordered online. The boots are well made & super soft suede. They look fabulous with a pair of blue jeans. However, they are extremely narrow fitting, & pinch slightly on the toes. This was a surprise to me as I have extremely narrow feet & normally find boots are too wide. However, as the suede is do soft they should give, with wear.”

“I love Moda in Pelle footwear but what I don't like is the fact that if you need to return them its up to the customer to pay postage. Since I return 2 pairs of long boots this accumulated into an expensive buy. Very off putting so won't be buying online again”

“Really nice ankle boots! The cut around the ankle is low so the boots look really appealing when worn with jeans. Although after a few weeks of wearing them, I’m quite disappointed with the part of the boot which runs across my foot when bending to walk. The creases that have formed are pretty unattractive and make the boots scruffy.”

“I placed an online order which I opted to collect from our local store. I kept checking the order status and nothing was happening. I ended up calling the customer service to be told that the item had had to be sourced as it wasn’t in the warehouse. Because of this it was going to be sent direct to my home address. I don’t know whether I would have been advised of this had I not rung first. Other than that, the boots are wonderful and I love them!”

“Despite stating boots were in stock, they weren’t and I got a ‘holding’ mail asking that I wait until they actually found a pair. Otherwise, fine.”
