“Bought a pair of long and a pair of short boots very pleased with design and comfort. When looking at product details there was reference to care of leather boots. I took this as the boots I was ordering were leather, especially considering the pre sale price. I have bought many shoes of this brand before (all leather) and they have been fantastic. They would usually score 5/5. These ones turned out to be man made which's was very disappointing because it was unexpected. I think should be clearer as the company name literally means fashion in leather.”

“The trainer's I brought looked great initially but after wearing them a few times the metallic stripes are starting to wear. If I had paid full price for them is have been very disappointed”

“I ordeted ankle boots in the sale that should have been £129. I was so disappointed when they arrived. They were not leather, as I would have expected for that price, and looked really cheap. I decided to return them. Returns have to be sent by post and tracked, at my expense. I decided to drive to my nearest store instead which was a 50 minute drive away. The refund then took 10 days to appear in my account. I will not be using Moda in Pele again.”

“Lovely trainers - I thought they would be able to be zipped up for ease but, as the box says, these are lace-up trainers. The leather was a little yellowed, which was made more obvious by the very cheap bright white nylon laces. The trainers are comfortable but not up to the usual Moda in Pelle standard I'm afraid.”

“The sandals I purchased were gorgeous but sadly wasn’t for me. The return process is why I down scored, it took lots of messages and almost a month to get my money back. This was very disappointing and I must say I’d be reluctant to order on line again.”

“Ordered some shoes for an event, although very lovely shoes the delivery of these shoes took over two weeks when I paid for next day delivery, I contacted to get a refund on the delivery but never got a response”

“The delivery courier they use: Evri are just awful. Moda in Pelle are very hard to get through to, they don't answer emails in a timely manner and the chat function is a waste of time. The trainers were great but the customer service not so great!”

“I ordered a pair of size 8 boots but they were too small. Unfortunately Moda in Pelle don't cater for ladies with big feet and have very limited choice of size 8 boots. So sadly although your boots are amazing they're not for us with bigger feet so I will have to shop elsewhere.”

“Sadly the shoes were too narrow, I’ve recently had foot surgery so need some extra width. I returned them, but the refund is taking a long time, giving them the benefit of the doubt as it’s holiday time.”

“Pyrchased a pair of Avabelle White Leather Trainers in the sale £60 instead of £120. I found the leather to be not as supple as previous trainers, actually it was quite hard and the trainers are heavy. They are leather lined however not as much cushioning as previous trainers. I wouldn't class them as white more metallic. They do look nice though. Sizing I usually take a 39 but with these i need a size 40.”

“Bought the wrong colour boots online in error, tried to cancel order within 15mins of placing order, by the time they got back to me three days later boots had arrived, took boots back to store for quick refund, took 15 days for money to go back into my account. Boots were delivered quickly the reason I have given 3 stars”

“The shoes are beautiful and good quality but they're so uncomfortable. I wore them to a wedding for 8 hours and they tore the skin off both big toes. Need to wear plasters on toes in the future”
